Trip to Granada, Spain!!

Nice video! if u don't mind, will u answer some of my questions: 1. how was the weather in april?2. is it a good idea to stay in a hostel? 3. is it possible to rent a car in granada and make day trips to see seville and cordoba day? or should i stay in cordoba and visit granada in a day trip?4. should i skip barcelona and madrid to make time for andulacia? any input will be helpful.

Como puedes decir eso gringa ingenua. España es una nación con cientos de años de historia,por eso es tradicional y mantener y conservar dichas tradiciones es un merito.España a la vez es tambien un pais moderno y liberal donde todo el mundo goza de un buen estado de bienestar, no como en tu pais que es la primera potencia mundial y hay personas que ni siquiera tienen derecho a una educacion y una sanidad simplemente por no tener dinero.

Espana tiene su musica, casas y historia pero la gente no amigable. Posiblemente era porque tenian un desempleo de un 17%. estarian triste. Cuando les preguntabamos eran tan orgulloso que no querian hablar. Terminamos comiendo en un restaurant Peruano y conversando con gente de Arabia, Britanicos y Italianos.

I lived in Granada all my teenage years... It may seem beautiful and all but ...Its only nice to go as a tourist..I don't recomend people to live there (unless you live in a really poor country)

Puedo aceptar que tu experiencia no fuera gratificante pero no me eches abajo Granada y me vendas USA como el paraiso porque por ahi no paso. No hagas de tus experiencias verdades universales. Un país o una ciudad debe ser juzgada desde varias perspectivas y yo me quedo con nuestras tapas gratis, la alpujarra, el albayzin, nuestra sierra, nuestra gastromonia, etc. Si a ti lo que te gusta es el dinero, pues muy bien, pero en la vida hay mas cosas.

Interesting. I have always wanted to see Granada because of the Moorish influence. There is still Islamic influence going on today like for instance surnames like Medina. I also want to see this city because of my favorite poet Garcia Lorca. I'll be there one day.

Granada, and other places in Spain are very different from Northern Europe and even each other. Granada has the longest lasting Muslim dynasty on the Iberian peninsula- the dynasty was the Nasrids. The Muslim dynasty was present from 1228 through 1492 when Ferdinand and Isabella. You can find a lot of Muslim and Moorish influences in the Iberian peninsula.

I'm glad that you liked it! Granada is a beautiful place :)I need to go back again. I wasn't able to enter the actual Alhambra palace because I didn't get up early enough and was only there for 2 days.  I did get to enter the courtyard and gardens which were beautiful!!
