I guess I would do the same if I wasn't very successful doing Christian music and saw an opportunity to do something else that would be more successful. I posted this music because I love it and it has brought me insight and peace when times were rough, not to start a debate. Sit back and enjoy the music. I think it's some of the best Christian music out there. Her lyrics are genuine and her voice is incredible!

I honestly believe something happened with Katy Perry & her parents to make her change her ways.. the choices she's making doesn't just happen over night. And the influence that was displayed at home COULD be a reason for her compromising.
But regardless of what choices she's making, Jesus is waiting for her with open arms. The best we can do is pray for her!!! There's a light at the end of the tunnel... and we as fellow christians CANNOT let our sister fall any longer! There's still hope:)

she was 16, her parents raised her in a very religious family, that's all she knew. she grew up and discovered the 'secular' world and more importantly she discovered herself not under the auspices of her parents. i can relate to that and maybe that's why i don't judge her for her change of heart. she's still the same person inside.

God used Katy even though it was a short period of time to spread his Word and his Gospel and his Love to others. Why are people judging her when you should judge yourselves first? What she did and does is great. There are even messages in her nowerdays music. Such as Fireworks. God gave her a gift...a beautiful one at that..so stop with the harsh comments.

@fermos11111 The point being after the first murder occurred, the pain felt by the victim's family would have to be presented to the culture as an "opinion" that it was wrong. Then the person who committed the murder could have the opposite "opinion" that it was ok to do. Where does the "concept" that it is wrong come from? @fermos11111 In some cases it is an entire culture and or religion that is of the opinion one or more of the things we consider wrong to be ok to them. Example: CBS Reporter Lara Logan being Raped multiple times by the "jubilant celebrators" in Cairo last Friday. Sharia Law in islam allows beating and Rape of women. The Liberal Mainstream Media and Officials in order to be Politically Correct and not offend muslims is treating this as a "cultural event" rather than a crime.

I think the Catholic church is a joke, but not as much of a joke as those who think it is a cult yet they STILL use the bible which was created by the catholic church and call it the "perfect word of god" LOL. @MrTruthAddict Son of Preacher, the Catholic Church didn't write the scriptures that were compiled into the Bible. There was not even a Catholic Church when these scrolls were written. I have copies of the Apocrypha and the other scriptures that were left out of the Canonized Bible. You have very little to no knowledge of the Bible.

Of course not, because the Catholic church didn't want you to! I have read these books, and they describe a Jesus that is very different from the one you robots are pushing. @rlwieneke of copies is all you have, at best. Over the centuries, scribes were hired to make copies, many of them illiterate themselves so they made mistakes. Many of these scribes interpolated entire verses, or deleted verses they didnt like. So we dont know what the originals say, and at best we have copies of copies of copies which have been worked over by centuries of corrupt Catholic pedophile zealots with political axes to grind. It's a complete JOKE!

@rlwieneke I spent 30 years searching for the truth after my parents conversion. SInce Xtianity left me with more questions than answers, I began learning as much as I could about religion and history to see what the truth was. Well, I found out that Xtianity is nothing more than a cheap copy of other religions which came before it, just as every other man made religion ever created has been.
