  • mice

  • awesome review...... now i don't wanna buy one. T_T

  • have one loved it bought one for my unimaginative wife who cannot understand why a mouse should have more than 2 buttons and since its for her notebook I bought for last Christmas she does not understand what the pouch is for. For the first time I love a mouse more than my Bluetooth mouths from Gates Inc.

Highly recommended and thanks for the vid so my wife can learn as she never has from me LOL!

  • 1:14-1:17 is my favorite part....

  • @rumdigittyrum lol, that's what she said!

  • mice is plural mouse is singular. i like the way u say mouse tho mose :)

  • you lie no one likes canada!!!!!!!!!!

  • @slamrock17 How can you not like Canada?

  • @johnnehill its like bieng racist i was born with it. JK if you can show me whats so awesome about canada then maybe i will like it.

  • @slamrock17 Beer, women, hockey.... free health care... I could go on! How far are you from the border? Get your friends on a road trip up north and you'll have a bombin' great time!!!

  • @johnnehill

Actually it is quite contradictive to what i heard regarding women in Canada. There are way more men than women.

  • @Borisyoch What looney toon told you that? Much like the rest of the world, we're pretty close to 50/50. But regardless, I was speaking more in terms of the quality of the ladies, and the quantity of the ladies!

  • @johnnehill

I heard it a couple of times. I heard that men in Canada even go abroad to find wifes.

  • @Borisyoch Don't believe everything you hear dude!

  • @johnnehill

I cannot decide between Marathon 705, Anywhere and G500. I need ergonomic mouse on which my palm will rest on and not be lying on the table. People recommend me Razor DeathAdder...

  • @Borisyoch well, I can only speak for the anywhere, but I suppose it'd depend on the size of your hand, where your palm rests!

  • the mouse goes in the case backwards. mine fits good

  • @aka78681 People have been saying that! Mine won't fit both ways, I think I have a faulty case, someone at the factory put one extra stitch in there or something!

  • I lost my M705 :(

marathon mouse that has 90% battery-life (900+ days left!!) after 4 months! used it for school mainly and sometimes for gaming.

And I lost it at school in a hurry :(

So is this a good upgrade? or should I look for something cheaper this time? :p

  • @ptuku I'm happy with it. I like the mobility and the face that it'll track on any surface!

  • I have the same mouse and it is great! The pouch will loosen up eventualy, I use it every day. I don't have the problem with the reciver. My bro has the same type of reciver and never broke in one year of use.

  • @Brebeanualexcatalin Nicely done! Mine's been terrific since I crazy glued it together! The pouch... the pouch... It'd be easier to slip it into a condom!

  • habs fan. good man.

  • @GenoKatz4 Only the best!

  • mice

  • @MrRickx50 VERY mice indeed!

  • I've been debating between this and its older brother, the Performance MX. However, I discovered the PMX's battery life to be a bit underwhelming according to a number of reviews I've read.

This seems to have everything I like in the PMX (hyper scroll, unifying receiver, darkfield laser tracking) but I like the fact it runs on the AA's. How's the battery life, in your experience? I had the VX Revolution, which lasted several months on just 2 AAA's.

  • @baseballrunner76 It's amazing! Actually, there's a drawback to long lasting battery power. You forget that things run on batteries and then your mouse starts flashing and acting weird, it freaks you out!!!

  • @johnnehill Thumbs up for the Johnny Cash intro :) Good review think I will buy this mouse sounds good!

  • Darn... why doesn't anyone say that you only have to use one battery!

  • @XxbufferingsxksxX I did say that I prefer it heavy!!!

  • @johnnehill Its worth mentioning though lol. When I saw that it needed two batteries I'm like oh shit. but it came with batteries. I thought good. Only needs one.. Even better this mouse is awesome your review is awesome I hope I dont have that usb issue. But I dont think I'll ever take it off. But damn I'll be paranoid if it does do that.

  • @XxbufferingsxksxX Little crazy glue and I've been all good ever since! Someone should tell Logitech to hire me to glue things for them! jk jk

  • @johnnehill Haa but that usb is awesome cause the keyboard and keypad will work with the same usb

  • @XxbufferingsxksxX I know, finally a peripheral company trying to simplify things. Next up in the tech world will be bluetooth EVERYTHING! Keyboards, mice, controllers and remotes. Everything from the TV to the computer to the microwave and the furnace will be able to communicate and handshake with everything else! Problem is there will always be someone who wants to be greedy and have their name front and centre on everything!

  • @johnnehill I KNOW! I work at burgerking. The microwaves have internet cables inputs!

  • @johnnehill Oh btw mice is plural as it is singular. So you can say I've had an annoying mice or I have encountered many annoying mice.

  • I wanted To say "Thats what she said" like 10 times during this video =)

  • @drummerkid222 Michael Scott would have a field day around me!!!

  • thats what she said 1:15 lol, sorry couldnt resist saying it

  • @jacksoncmc Nicely done!

  • @johnnehill thanks

so hows the mouse after using for some time?

  • @jacksoncmc it's the same as the first day I had it. I've been using the Apple Magic Trackpad more lately, but it doesn't have all the funky quick access buttons that this baby does!

  • @jacksoncmc It's great. It works as it's new, all the buttons are crisp. The only thing that happens is that the finish material in the click area becomes shiny ( I use it 6 h/day+ architecture -CAD and 3d software)

  • does it work on water

  • @mw2dude2010 Yes. I believe the original name of the mouse was the Logitech MX Buddy Christ!

  • smooth scrolling interfere with most internet browser

  • I use the case the way you do and it fits nicely.. it's also possible to push the mouse the other way, but it just doesn't feel right.. and i don't have the issue with unifying receiver :) .. so overall it's an awesome mouse! :o)

  • @ondrejsimek I guess I got the runt of the litter!!!

  • haha mice....mouses?

  • I noticed that about the case too. I was like...

Huh. They might be good at making mice but suck at making cases. :P

  • @lrossi888 I know! Everyone on here is like "You got it backwards!" and I'm positive I don't, and when I try it the other way it doesn't even go halfway in the case!

  • @johnnehill Yeah, you did it right. It's kinda hard to tell, but the case has a flat end and a round end just like the mouse. Logic dictates that the mouse should properly fit in this manner.

Yep, you got it right. Logitech is doin' it rong.

  • Question:

When you use a PC mouse on a Mac, what does the right click button do?

  • @OlyDrumBum It right clicks!

  • A light bike can be very expensive :)

About the case you need to turn the mouse the other way :)

  • A light bike can be very expensive :)

  • Mouse pads, or mouse-pads (don't pin me down on the spelling, English isn't my first language) Pads is plural and mouse isn't because no matter how many pads there are, there'll only be one mouse on each.

  • Fantastic review man! Really like how you touched base on the receiver and the carry case.

  • did you try super glue

  • @JimS0cks I actually used "crazy" glue. The super glue looked pretty good and everything, but I've always had a soft spot for the crazy glue! And it worked like a charm!

  • i agree with you about lighweight stuff heavier is better

  • @nialld5 Three cheers for heavy!!!

  • @johnnehill LOL

  • it's mice.

  • @shakallis mice pads? or mousepads? or micepads? or mouse pads? Everything sounds wrong!!!

  • @shakallis mouse pads.

  • Great review man, totally agree that mice should be heavy.

  • @BritishConcept A heavier mouse gives you far more control over what's happening on the screen. Certainly not heavy enough to kill an intruder, but heavy enough to maim him!

  • @johnnehill Well, the more potentially dangerous objects I have just lying around, the better.

  • I guess it's only your particular case is snug like that because mine fits perfectly. It's not as tight as what you have at all. All my friends' case (14 of them are using this mouse) are not like that either. Better let Logitech know about your case. Looks like it slipped their quality control. :)

  • @eirenepearle I still fail to see the true usefulness of that little case. Perhapes if it had a belt clip and you could use it like a kick ass mouse holster for hardcore gamers or something!!!

  • I bought it today.

+ works even on mirror or palm, long range, very confortable, great skates

    - cheaply loud buttons (excempt side buttons)

    - unable to set scrolling speed values separately (hyper-scrolling is too fast).

  • @thePavuk 100% in agreement dude!

  • ahahaa. nice review. buying it! why did you say mice pads twice in the end? lmao.. found it funny.

  • @koruptxshun I was just wrapping my head around why we only pluralize one of the clearly two words of "mouse pad"

btw, I didn't actually wrap my head around anything, I couldn't do that if I tried!

  • Thanks for the info.

  • @MrWadlo no prob bob!

  • no offense, but why do you remove the receiver? i thought one feature was so you can leave the receiver in and not have it snap off. or do you not have enough usb ports?

  • @HDMovieScenes I take great offence to that sir! lol just kidding. A) Yes! The Macbook Pro only has two usb ports and occasionally I need to use both of them. B) I've almost broke these little guys on previous computers and am slightly paranoid! C) As low profile as it is, it's still sticking out of my laptop and I try and take good care of my things and not be careless and let something snap off because I stuffed it in my backpack too quickly!

  • Will you please measure this mouse in inches, from side-to-side and nose-to-tail for me? Everyone says it's small, but I wonder how small it really is.

  • @bradwjensen about 3" long and 2" wide... at it's longest and widest of course!

  • @johnnehill Oh wow. That is tiny! Thank-you so much for the quick reply. :) It looks like I should get the Performance MX instead..

  • if thats the best mouse you've ever used then you haven't tried the mx performence mouse. The anyware mouse mx is confortable but the mx performence mouse is twice as confortable

  • Thanks for the review. Ok what is this Expose you love so much. I'm wonderfing if I'm missing something here.

  • @steve195856 it's part of the Mac OS, and has become my favoridest Apple perk!

  • this is a great mouse just bought it today

  • im a canucks fan. but GO HABS GO. WIN THE CUP!!!!

. but hey good review. i also have a macbook pro. and im going to sri lanka for vacation. and im thinking of getting this mouse.

hmm i wana get a canucks mouse pad now.

  • @capdasejb Awesome mouse, I just super glued my receiver back together and it's holding up nicely! Love the Canucks logo. Also, I'm related to Gino Odjick!

  • Hi! It can was programme central button? It walks about pressing button.

  • Yes, I seem to remember reading something similar. But the scroll wheel button only changes the speed of scrolling, and the logitech software doesn't have an option for programming.

  • Works on anything? What about porridge?

  • Are you kidding? Especially porridge!!!

  • Well I'm not too sure about that. I bought one yesterday and tried the porridge test. Conclusion: Anywhere MX doesn't float :(

  • nice review man. im thinking about buying this mouse for when i travel. i already have the logitech performance mx mouse, and for the most part i leave the unifying receiver in my laptop usb port, but i havent had any problems with it breaking when i have taken it out. did logitech replace the receiver for you?

  • I haven't even contacted them yet. I'm as lazy as The Big Lebowski. How's the Performance MX treatin' you?

  • good review .you have a odd accent(canadian?!)

  • VERY Canadian! I'm actually Algonquin, my people were here before Columbus!

  • funny thing is that i didn't saw the whole thing when i wrote this. later on in the film you point this out .i feel like an idiot.

sorry i don't know what Algonquin means

  • Odd? He just sounds American to me. Sorry if that's an insult :)

  • Great video. Pretty much convinced me to buy this mouse when I get the cash. Why were you taking the reciever out man? It's meant to always stay plugged in! Naw, just kidding around. I'm pretty sure you can just buy a new one. Probably like 20 bucks though. o.o Or more...

  • lol, it drives me nuts when I like something so much and there's a problem. I'm also extremely lazy and in no rush to fix it!

  • Yea, I can see how its "broken" as it comes apart and all that jazz, but if you can stick it back together and it works fine.... why mess with it? Lol.

  • Nice review mate,cheers :D

  • Thanks dude!

  • Very nice review

  • lol, yeah the wicker was choppy! Still worked though! My New Years resolution is to fix this usb dongle. For anyone interested, I had to program the left and right toggle with keyboard short cuts.

  • How did you customize the buttons? The product only came with a PC setup disc... How'd you do it? thanks in advance!

  • In system preferences at the bottom there should be a "Logitech Control Centre"

Through that I had to tell it what product I had and everything, then I had all the options for customization I could dream of and more!

  • Thanks a lot dude! it was right in front of me all this time haha! Great review, if it wasnt for this... i'd probably think twice buying it but thanks to you. Koodos!

  • No problemo! Mice have always been a non issue for me, and this was the first one to really impress the crap out of me!

  • how did you make the toggle left to back and toggle right forward in safari? i dont see the option in the Logitech software

  • nevermind i got it. nice video

  • I have a Microsoft Bluetrack mouse. Just bought it today!

  • how is it?

  • It's doin' pretty good with me.

  • Sold my VX nano and got this one, love it, feel heavier and the mini usb dongle never had the problem you having, you probably have a bad one.

  • Wicker must be a little bumpy. :-)
