@TheQueenbeecolleen You OBVIOUSLY haven't heard Chuck RECENTLY!! His voice is COMPLETELY back, in fact, even better now than when he was with Three Dog Night!! Considering everything that Chuck has been through, it's a miracle that he's still ALIVE, let alone singing! God has blessed him, and allowed him to retain his beautiful voice AND his beautiful soul. I suggest you listen to some RECENT songs of his, or watch some recent videos, and cut the man some slack!!
You people don't have much of a trained ear. Corey hasn't lost a stitch and chuck's are completely erratic and hard to predict. THis one is pretty awful. The other two (considering the have the original band players as well) are the show to see, no matter who was better in the original day. Chuck's songs were great, but the more I delve back into them, the more favorite a singer (period not just the band) Corey's becoming to me.
I think Chuck has the best voice of the three, then and now. Not far from second is Cory Wells. Listen to his old version of Never been to spain. That's singing. They'd be great if they got back together cuz it's not Three Dog Night without the three of them!

He actually loves singing the high notes and tells the band what key to sing in. He likes a challenge. I think it is more of a matter of him getting out of breath with his one bad lung.
We're are all expecting for him to sound like he used to. And I think he's trying to damn hard. I agree it is almost painful to listen to, and yeah he's 66, but I understand that I had to stop wearing midriff tops & hot pants a long time ago. There are just some things that we shouldn't do at 66. Also the beautiful, mesmerizing harmony of the original 3 will never, EVER be replicated and those of us who grew up with them will never, EVER settle for less. RIP Three Dog Night. You are missed.

Chucks been studying with the vibrato kind Anthony Newly. Chuck is beyond vibrato to an embarrasing warble. It's nausiating! I agree. SING IT STRAIGHT. LISTEN TO THE ORIGINAL RECORDING. Some of Chuckie Cheezes current YouTube is down right funny.

I love Chuck, but I have to agree with that comment about the embarrasing warble. Some singers shouldn't sing anymore if they begin to sound like an old Carol Channing.
