  • anybody elsee wonder how they play in arcade mode ?? 0.o

  • throws are not cheap, he is supposed to reverse ryu in the air or counter with his own throw. This is the great fighting game by far.

  • this is why i like sf4 better, cuz u can tech that throw bullshit

  • @valk4life throws arent bullshit

  • Hey Tick throws are strategy based guys. Quit fucking complaining and just go with the damn flow.

  • Then consider me sad as fuck becuase I have no problem tick throwing anybody to death and will gleefully throw you every single time you fuck up and land right next to me.

  • Wow, so cheap.

  • That was CHEEEEEESY Ryu

  • hahaha it is 2010 and people are still complaining about throws. that's fucking hilarious and also sad.

  • @turdferguson2 A good fighter never needs to use throw ,, only for the sad ppl .

  • @stanfamily LOL

  • in the final round, the error of balrog-bison is the difensive position in the left corner...so he had to go as soon as possible forward

  • lol....Those cheap throws saved Ryu's ass. He coulld not face Balrog like a big man.

  • no shit, Ryu guy gotz no skills has to resort to throws.

You would get shot back in the day if you used throws when playing each other.

  • its awesome to see Hyper Fighting at a tourny level. I thought since ST came out, everyone decided to drop Hyper Fighting as a whole.

    Thanks you for the vids.

  • the longer he hold all 3 punches or kick buttons, the hight the number he do and damage that y he say numbers

  • wait a minute? thats balrog saying numbers whenever he punches lol

  • He says numbers just doing turnaround punches!

  • I keep hearing the announcer guy go 1 311 2 3 WTF lol

  • That's not the announcer, that Balrog/M.Bison(boxer) himself...

  • its funny how different this game looks played at a high level than super turbo

  • Really? Cause M. Bison is the boss of Street Fighter and in the japanimation cartoon movie M. Bison is the boss of the Shadow-Loo. What was M. Bison's original name in Japan?

  • Umm, did anyone else notice the name of the left fighter is listed as Bison? Weird.

  • Great throw mix ups at the end of the game by Ryu. I loved how instead of going for a last throw attempt he went for a low short. Nice~

  • That first match was beautiful.

  • hahaha! you could hear the crowd's cheers during the double KO :)

  • Comment removed

  • ONE THREE ONE TWO ONE

  • Indeed.Balrog.

  • That Balrog made so many mistakes it makes me sick.

  • double k.o.'s rarely happen in tournaments, right?

  • man that's fucking beautiful to watch

  • Anyone who know's HF know's that this is arguably one of Ryu's toughest matchups. You have to resort to cross ups and tick throws to beat Balrog, because you can't control space with Hadouken's right. You crybabies complaining about throws don't understand nothing about how HF plays like on the competetive lvl.

  • Balrog's TAPs are useless unless used at close range because Ryu can FP them clean. The Ryu player missed a lot opportunities to fierce punch the TAPs.

  • Say that to Apoc when he competed against the Best Ryu's in Hyper Fighting in the early 90's, and tell him that Taps are "useless" against a Ryu player.

Even the greatest player Tomo struggled up against Apoc's Rog, because Tap's owned Hadouken's. Not to mention, on trade off's, Rog>Ryu+ Rog gains positioning.

  • @MGOissweet1

Taps are great against Ryu at close range, who would seriously use them to get punished by FP? It's only there to make Ryu hesitate to throw the projectiles, not only that, at close range, Rog can win out on trades with normals. This is not a "gimme" match up for Ryu at all.

  • People don't like tick throws because they're cheap and take no technical skill. And for the person who said "everything is blockable" is seriously mistaken. Some tick throws are preventable but a lot of them aren't, especially if you're cornered. I haven't played SFIV but I hope it's been addressed.

  • Almost all of them are preventable. The one situation where they aren't is a max-range Zangief tick against Balrog/Boxer. Every other tick throw situation can be escaped with either a reversal dragon punch/flashkick/flip kick/spinning bird kick/etc or with a reversal throw.

  • @ TrueSephiros hey Estoy deacuerdo Con USTEDES buen soy yo tambien sin Jugador Juego de Ryu de Street Fighter todos.pero Con mis favoritos y balrog hijo

  • That Final! Classic Fighting at it's best!

  • Everything is blockable in SF2...Stop hating on the tap throw and LEARN HOW TO BLOCK IT! Balrog guy should have uppercut his ass everytime Ryu came in w/ the knee. Anyhow, come show your old skool @ my SF2 Hyper Fighting Tourney in the OC, Cali. More info @ myspace, url:damiendynamite. Only 12 spots left.

  • Tap-throw is so fucking cheap, it breaks the game. The idiots at Capcom could have fixed it by the time Hyper fighting edition was released.

  • tap throw is what

  • they *could* have but did not. This is AFTER the game has been played at the tournament level. THAT'S BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT BROKEN AND MEANT TO BE IN THE DAMN GAME!!!!

  • Gay ass Ryu.

  • Ryu ain't gay.

  • Obviously you guys don't understand street fighter! Cheap is when someone is whippin you the whole round and you win from a lame super. That is much less strategic than anything on hyper which is reversible.

  • tick throws for the win
