Even though he pronounced the devs name wrong I have to say this is a nice vid because at least he talked and explained what was happening. I hate those vids where they just show a finger swyping all over the phone and not saying a thing, you might as well put the phone in a monkeys hand and let him play with it.

If you flash the MR2 or 2.5 radio you may get 4g or 3g working, there are better radios out there test them out just make sure its for gingerbread and not froyo. I've noticed some themes have a different reaction to whether I get a good 4g working or not.

If you flash any Cyanogen ROM you have to flash his gapps also to get the Google apps (gapps) working such as gmail and market.

You have to flash the correct radio if you want data and cell service working. GPS doesn't work well with the AOSP roms, not just yet.

Anybody else using this ROM? I'm using this, with the MR2.5 radio, and I can never get 4G LTE, it always drops and goes to 3G. Any help on the issue?

i am so happy with CM 7 on my thunderbolt i could freakin cry. there is absolutely no lag, and all of the stock google android software is 1000x better than HTC's bull shit. All droids should come like this out of the box

@bioskeek Same here. I actually sent him a PM quite some time ago asking him to make a video. He hasn't replied to it, nor has he replied to the abundance of comments here. His YouTube page shows that he has been online recently, so he at least has to know we are asking. I hate to push the issue, but could he be ignoring us? . He could at least acknowledge us and say either he's working on it or tell us "No." (No offense, TheAndroidModder.)

@superlama24 it lasts way longer. get set cpu and set a "screen off" profile and underclock it, and that, with CM 7 makes the battery last a day and a half for me

cyanogenmod is stock android. google creates their OS but does not make any phones to run it. HTC, Samsung, Motorola, and LG all take the OS google creates, and add a skin to it before releasing it on the phones they build. HTC's skin is sense ui. A lot of people don't like sense, or any other skin, as they can bog down the phone and make it run slower, drain battery faster, look ugly, etc. Cyanogenmod is android as google originally intended, a little plain but very lean and easily customizable
