Rafa is amassing! I don't know what year that game is suppose to be but Rafa's hard-court tennis has changed a lot; his technique overall is superior. In AO 2007 Rafa beat Murray with (6-4, 6-3, 6-1) to Murray (6-4, and tie-brake); that is 10 games to 3 to Rafa. WOW

Yeh it's better cos it's more realistic and more of a simulation than VT3's arcadey style. There's a Smash Court Tennis 3 coming out for X360 but it looks like crap.

Nah it doesn't all end up like this. I only use slice shots if I'm on the defensive. I tend to try and get the angles. Everyone will play it different. It's not easy at the beginning, I'd had this for a couple weeks before I recorded this.

Yep much better. Much more of a simulation and therefore more realistic. Plus if you're playing on PS3 it has online. Can get it for 30 quid from anywhere aswell so deffo worth it.

It's not better, it just depends on who likes what in their games. If you want fast-paced, arcadey type tennis, go for Virtua Tennis 3, but if you want a more realistic experience, go for Top Spin. It just depends

well since getting it completing it and such i feel its a much more of a tennis game real tennis. virtua tennis is a poor excuse and to be honest really repetitive even though all tennis games are a little virtua tennis is jsut too easy and boring . and persides if youe struggling the ai begins playing like its 8 years old. sorry fort eh rant...

What the hell are you talking about?? The bottom line is that everyone is different in what they like in their games, what i am understand in your arguement, if you even HAVE an arguement, is that basically you are saying "Virtua Tennis 3 sucks and Top Spin 3 rocks" that is all you're saying. You're being bias and not neutral, to someone asking what are the pluses and minuses of two games that they are thinking of buying. I don't even need to say anything more. x]

i own both games completed both. life span topspin 3 a one off game maybe virtua tennis the only reason virtua tenniss campaign lasts any were near topspins is the complete "repetition" so if saying a game is repetitive and with that comes boredom. the controls arnt deep extremely easy to learn its only saving grace im no topspin fanboy its just virtua tennis is pale in comparison.

But that is what Virtua Tennis is known for, Virtua Tennis games are always known for it's easy-to-learn, accessible, pick-up and play style of gaming. As for boredom, some people might get bored and never play it again and other still enjoy it as if they just bought the game yesterday (like you and me for example). I like the quick and easy to learn style of the game and you like the challenging, depth style of Top Spin. Basically to any newcomers that can't decide, either download or rent. ^^
