  • you mad that there is something instead of nothing?

  • this guy has no clue

  • @magnus405 Maybe you should debate him, then. Or are you just a biased atheist who has no choice but to say that all Christian apologists are clueless?

  • A man who only has degrees in theology and philosophy has NO business giving lectures on advanced scientific concepts!

  • @ChromeXk Then why are all of those scientists and atheists wasting their time listening to him?

  • @terminat1 You know that situation where some retard comes along and says something so stupid you just have to facepalm? And you try to reason with them about why they're so wrong for their benefit? That.

  • @ChromeXk

Just because someone doesn't have a degree in a particular field doesn't mean he can't be well-versed in it. And I think Craig's reasoning is only 'retarded' because you're filtering his comments through the prism of atheism.

After all, why aren't hordes of scientists compiling huge lists of scientific errors Craig has made in his debates, if he's such a dullard when it comes to that subject?

  • @terminat1 I didnt say he couldnt be well versed, but as he's had no formal education in that background at least, nothing certified, he is NOT the kind of person who should be teaching others, it's entirely misleading, which I guess described Christians with an agenda perfectly . And as for why scientists dont both with him? They're too busy figuring out how the universe works and expanding our limits of human knowledge, to be dealing with this douchebag.

  • @ChromeXk Sounds like you've had bad experiences with Christians and therefore stereotype all of them.

He's not teaching a college class. He's talking to scientists at a meeting about these subjects, and none of them were forced to attend. Obviously they respect him to some degree---at least some of them do---or else they wouldn't be there.

I know Craig is respected because I've heard atheists talk about him---at least Craig's quotes of said atheists. And they do respect him.

  • @ChromeXk You also have to remember that some science IS based on philosophical reasoning. True science is based on what can be observed, what can be studied, etc. The origin of the universe obviously does not fall under this category. Many unprovable assumptions---which naturally are formed by one's biases---must be first given when one starts to talk about the origin of the universe, origin of life, and other subjects.

  • @terminat1 I disagree, I dont think science is based on philosophical reasoning, the initial theory or idea you start a hypothesis with might be, but that's not the science. The science, I feel, comes from the measurements and the evidence etc we collect, no amount of philosophy can alter a measurement, it is what it is. As for the origin of the universe, maybe you're right, science might not concern itself with the why but it's certainly it's role to tell us how.

  • @ChromeXk Well, it's partly based on unproveable assumptions, and partly on observational science. Unless we're talking about 'true' science, stuff we can verify in the here and now. For example, I trust scientists when they say that the Sun is about 93 million miles from the Earth. That can be verified using science.

  • I like the Steady State theory.

  • he looks like a creationist faggot

  • @ApocalypseNow0I2 That's very constructive of you.

Do you realize that all you atheists do on these threads is talk shit?

  • @ApocalypseNow0I2 What a very immature comment. How old are you? 14?
