this son was about jesse's grandfather passing away from cancer if i remember right. i remember parts of this song when my grandma was dying from cancer. I don't know about you, but sitting around and watching a loved one die is depressing, frustrating and really angering when you can't do anything. You don't have to have a fast guitar riff or scream all through the song to show aggrivation. The true meaning is in the words.
