Bure was truly the Canucks first franchise player. There was no one else like him at the time. I still remember watching his first game.

Until Ovechkin came along I never thought I would be in such awe of a player. Bure was a human highlight reel all by himself and its a shame he had those knee problems, my favorite player in history along with Bobby Orr but Alex the Great will be the best Russian ever. To me #3 was the best, #2 was amazing but the one rated #1 was most important. A true legend. Hall of fame, where are you?
