@behappyon420 If every teacher in the state took a pay freeze for one year and contributed 1.5% of their annual salary towards healthcare benefits than no one would have gotten laid off at the very beginning of this mess.
I'm a student who's managed to inform himself on the issues and I find all of these protests silly.
If you want to avoid layoffs, then you will have to give up some ground financially.
