I like the AVP games better than the movies. I don't like it when the predator dies in everyone of the movies. At least in the avp games the predator you play as survive. I give the Predator films 9/10 because the predator dies (PREDATORS FTW), but i still like the movies. The AVP films 9/10 because the predator die in those too.

This review was bad Joe. I am not gonna lie. 1st off alien vs predator was a novel before a movie. And if you watched aliens you would have known they combine with other species to evolve,adapt & learn, get immunities, and defeat new things. At the end of AVP they showed the hybrid of alien/predator popping out of the predators stomach. Predators was great because it showed the predator in a city environment. When they all appeared at the end it was epic.

I wish that in the next predator, will be set in the future. around the time of Alien, when a colonial marine AGENT is sent on a mission to investigate disappearing's, going on in a certain sector. When his ship gets hit with an unknown force he crashes on the predator home-world. That would be pretty cool :)

In away I'm kinda glad they didn't do a Predator civil war. You know why? It'll look like AVP and the humans would be the bait for the other Predators. But if they steer clear of that kind of plot line then I'd go for it.

I did like the movie, no it can't top the original, and yes it can dive into more of the mythology of their world since they're on the Predator's planet.

One key distinction that needs to be understood: This was never intended to be a remake of the original. It is not competing with the original to be the definitive Predator story. It's a completely separate tale with unrelated characters and a unique narrative. On those grounds, I thought the movie was good. It was 90 minutes of Predators and humans fighting in the jungle. That's what I expected/wanted, and that's what I got. Expectations met. :)

One thing that pisses me off in predator franchise is that after the first film, they have changed the predators roar in each film. be it 2, or those motherfucking AVP shits, in each of those movies the predators roar is different. Why the fuck is that? The first one is just so epic and bone chilling (luckily they realized to use it in AVP2 pc game), but in the following movies it's just some random screams or a roar of a lion or tiger. What is up with the producers of this franchise???

Like how two people talk to each other, one may have this voice that is a little high and cracks a little and the other is deep and can be heard from quite a distance away.

Like seals'n monkeys; when we observe them, we can't distinguish individuals personal sound from another cos they follow their 'pattern' in producing sounds. Likewise, neither can they distinguish our individual sounds cos of our pattern, not outright. Therefore changing the predators yells all the time like that ruins the expression. Cos there's no pattern to follow!

Some of the roars are cool like the first predator, the wolf predator and Mr. Black, but that is my opinion. I'm sure you have a liking to some other roar of the predators.

I just watched the movie. Don't waste your time on it. Better watch the first one again. There are monsters in a movie, I wanna feel some tension. There is none in this movie, not for a second. Remember that part in the trailer, where many aiming lasers appear on the protagonists body? I wanted to know how will he solve the situation. But there is no scene in the film like that. This movie was great. Some people in my opinion, expect too much from certain movies nowadays. They watch the movie and when everything wasn't epic, these peole hate the movie. Don't expect to have a mega million blockbuster out of AVP. It is a glorified B-movie, which I liked. I even liked the admittedly crappier AVP2. They are B-movies and I knew that before I purchased them.

Predators is not better than Predator 1 or 2. Re-hashing all the best scenes from the orginal do not a good film make. Predator 2 also shits all over this because it tried to do something different (the concrete jungle) and expanded on the background of the Predators without giving too much away and it worked. Predators almost has no orginality and is over- all a bitter disappointment.

Robert Rod should film a new AVP with the way he ended Predators. I read an article in 1998 that said the original AVP would take place on a "game preserve" planet colonized by humans. Somehow, a ship with an Alien crash lands during the "hunting season". I like the idea of Predators fighting Aliens in the jungle. Fuck Antarctica and the Suburbs!
