What is really going on her is Golisano, the founder of Responsible New York, a political action committee, raised a huge amount of money to help democrats take majority control of the senate (after 40 years being republican). They promptly raised his taxes sky high, forcing him to move out of New York City. This is his revenge. Don't expect the dems to control the senate again in this lifetime with Golisano now working for the GOP.
