I agree I have a Pitbul mix and a full blood pitbull they are the most loveable gentle loyal dogs I have ever owned I wouldn't trade either of them for the world it's not the breed at the end of a leash it is the owners holding that leash that create an aggressive dog

I love it how the Lost Dogs Home keep playing martyr saying they are educating people, when all they are doing are backing thier mates in office in eradicating more dogs without needing to feed or re-home. A video like this actually educates people who are intrested. Great vid, thanks so much for making it!

@im160bpmplus Thats so true.. Dont get me started on LDH.. They have been shown to be dog killers and surely lining their own pockets while doing it.. They most certainly dont educate, they spit lies and as you know, want more dogs killed just because they look a certain way.. But thank you it was no problems making it :)

I got so angry tonight on the ABC1 the 7.30 show they had a story and the CEO of the lost dogs home said these dogs should not even be given a chance they should be gotten rid of. I wanted to get rid of him. Stupid stupid man and he looking after our poor lost dogs.

@ezkadellia and @im160bpmplus yep, thats the LDH for you. We have many stories about them. I had a friends dogs taken just because they looked a certain way. Kept in a kennel for months awaiting court.. They ended up losing the case but the dogs were grossly sick and underweight when they returned home. They have never been the same since. Make you wonder what happens behind closed doors..

I just wish the people in media would sit for 10mins and watch it.. Lets hope we can change the publics view by a story told by the responsible owners!

@nomerae Well said!! Im with you 110% on that!! The media love using the words "pit bull" i guess it sells.. Even though most bad coverage/dog bites are not by APBTs.. :(

Thank you for this and I am going to spread it as far and wide as I can. You put it together so well that it made me cry to think that maybe a dog that I know of and love to have visit me might be put down. He is the most gentle and obedient dog I have ever been around. Infact the dogs I had my children grow up with and there was a few the worst one was a Jack Russell Terrier it is the only dog that bit the kids.

@ezkadellia We cant let the governments use their fraud to put any dogs down. Owners must fight back! Australia are using a 22 point checklist in QLD and thats been thrown out in court several times with the owners winning every time! They tried to use the UKC standard and that is copyrighted. Victoria have made new "laws" but we have people working on stopping this right now. If you ever need legal help PM me and i can put you onto a great person who knows the fraudulent laws inside and out.

This was an unbelieveably well done video- great photos..facts..... As somebody who has owned pitbulls for over 26 years now, living in harmony with my children, my parrots and 31 year old desert tortoise~ watching this, just made my heart so happy!!! Just proves how kind the breed is and how once someone is willing to take on an APBT, its hard not to want more pibble love. Every dog is equal but the APBT really holds a special place in our hearts..

I believe that once you live with an APBT, there is no other one breed the encompasses the loyalty, passion, goofiness, trust, protectiveness, playfulness and affection that is embodied in ONE DOG!!!! I now have three- 2 adult males, and 1 10 month old female- all rescues ..... that I trust with anybody. (oops, out of space.. will continue with my thoughts in another post.....)

@RunningWithTheBulls1 I check the newspapers for the other incidents- the reporters come on our unit- for interviewing family, the staff and to take photos to further fuel the fire against the APBT!

This one particular accident happened when a 3 yr old toddler went into the yard with the family pitbull (chained to a tree & eating his dinner) Mom & dad were both in the home, and it was an unwitnessed event. Who chains a dog & who lets toddlers run around without supervision!!!!

PT 2: I am a pediatric trauma nurse & have cared for kids were were mauled by dogs ( the kids were unsupervised, taking food from and mishandling chained dogs) First of all, a chained dog is merely a possession & hasn't had proper socialization as a family member.. so whether a pit, pomeranian or poodle- a chained dog is frustrated & will do unpredictable things) Let's say out of 10 attacks- one was a pibble. Would you believe, the APBT bite was the ONLY one that made our paper!

@Rocketdogg63 Reply to both pt1 and pt2. Thats irresponsible by all parties involved. First you never leave a child unsupervised with any dog. Any animal for that matter! And yes, if your dog is chained up, never walked, socialized etc, its simply for "show".. Dogs need stimulation both physical and mental. Imagine whats going through the dogs minds when they are chained or simply kept in a backyard..

@RunningWithTheBulls1 Continued.. And yes any breed. I wont hate on other breeds but i have all the articles that prove the APBT is very rarely responsible for attacks or bites. Its just they either make the media for 1 day or never at all.. The word "pit bull" sells
