  • Kewlopolis is now Cookie Jar TV.

(Kewlopolis was way better when it was called KOL secret Slumber Party).

As for Cookie Jar TV I never watch it because I have better things to watch on other channels.

  • To many past the directed age, yes, these cartoons seem very lame. And you know what? Some people probably think the same thing about the cartoons YOU watched as a kid. There's no reason to rag on cartoons simple because you deem them 'lame'.

You know what is also an epic fail?

    The name ShadowBlazeX8.

    Wow.

    Way to be original.

  • These shows target 2-10-year-olds, and because of psychological trends in children of that age, these shows are pretty relevant. They also cover various lessons kids need to learn but don't because of the lack of parental guidance in most households.

They seem to work on those they're actually directed towards, which is why they're still on the air. If they didn't appeal to their audience, they'd be cancelled.

  • they made that show for girls because before they had kol secret slumber party

  • i saw dionsque one time and i stop reading animorphs

  • the 2 last are directed to children from 2 to 6 o_o

  • So, they have a TV-Y rating.

Fairly Odd Parents has that rating, funnily.

  • I have to agree, those cartoons are lame.

But the thing I dont like is that you didn't support your opinion with anything. You just stated that it sucked, you didn't state why it was lame.

  • i agree with everything what you said except dino squad. that's my favorite show. my name is jdog and Im only 8 years old.

  • It's for kids, they can't tell if it sucks or not it's a cartoon they just watch it.

  • good news for you, now Kewlopolis is called Cookie Jar TV (the main supplier of E/I in local networks like PBS, now for CBS)

the kids will be happy, but when they learn about the legion history of the company, their perspective will change...

  • And speaking of Strawberry Shortcake, I liked the 80s specials more than I did the 2000s show.

And DIC ruled when they had stuff like "Inspector Gadget", "Care Bears", "The Real Ghostbusters", etc.

  • (And by Care Bears, I mean the old 80s show, not the current show.)

  • what do you expect in saturday mornings on CBS?

    Showtime´s homo & gore content?

every channel applies E/I for obligation, not for getting raitings, man.

the maker DIC (disguised as cookie jar) now sucks, in the past this company ruled

Fox E/I is more lame since they broke with 4 Kids Entertainment

NBC get programs rejected by Discovery Kids and put them in Qubo (horrible, considering that they have good tonight shows & comedy programs)

Please Obama, cancel the E/I condition.

  • I forgot to tell this:

CBS made this Kewlopolis with DIC after their independence from Viacom International (big mistake)

Nick on CBS had only the Nick Jr.shows (to fill E/I purposes)

ABC has Disney cartoons (obvious, the station belongs to Disney)

The only station that is happy with it (they have more than 3 hours of E/I, and they´re good) is PBS

But the only one to blame for the term E/I is the ACT (Action for children´s television)

  • @abrahamWCE I agree. They need to get rid of the E/I law.

  • @abrahamWCE I understand, so I'm starting to think that children should only learn from lectures that they hear face-to-face in front of teachers, no matter how boring it may seem.
