Assistant House Democatic Leader Kyrsten Sinema on Republicans' ridiculous birther bill

My Dad was born in the Arizona Territory. I lived in the state of Arizona for 21 years, graduating from law school there. I look from across the border (California) with the greatest sadness at what is happening to Arizona. Thank goodness (literally) that legislators such as Ms. Sinema are trying to stem the tide sweeping the state into a new dark age!

@YTThrock. Of course States validate candidates! The presidential election is run on a state by state basis. You don't understand election laws.

The number of Ys on the voting board is appalling. Kyrsten is right. This is ridiculous. Who is Az to think they have the authority to validate a presidential candidate? I am ashamed of my home state for what is passing as leadership lately.
