I'm curious. how much time do you spend in these type of outdoor areas? (farmland which is miles from the nearest city). because I've noticed a trend, people who live in cities away from these areas, and rarely if ever visit this type of land, love to give those who do use and enjoy these types of areas (be them private or public) a hard time. FYI most of this video was shot in a flood channel which washes out every few years. 'course you'd know that if you spent much time in places like this

How is the chain drive arranged? Its obvious that they would have to run from the wheel's axle to near the pivot area. But then are they connected to extremely narrowed diffs and other conventional transmission/transfer case items. Or has he created his own drive unit?

there is a ford 9" located under the drivers seat, which drives the chains, i'm not sure how he modified the end of the axle to fit the gears, but that's how its done. at the wheels are gear reduction hubs, they aren't too thick. its explained in the video description somewhat.
