ROLLS ROYCE cars of the past? A small company that often struggled to survive building the best built cars in the world. A small work force of dedicated well trained craftsman producing handbuilt quality and engineering excellence that was second to no one. That was the reason to buy one.
Rolls of today? A ugly pretentious looking product owned by a huge corporation that sells it under the old reliable rolls royce name. No class. Just vulgar - like the people who buy it.
Are there aftermarket disappearing hood ornament kits? The Phantom has the hood ornament that slides down into the grille when you turn off the car. That seems like it'd be a great feature to retrofit to older Rolls-Royces, too..
Maybach is also developing a landaulet version of the Sixty-Two. Check it out, there are a few videos talking about it on here. RR hasn't made a landaulet since the Phantom VI, as far as I know, and they were done in very few numbers.
You see all those stories about how a car transport truck carrying brand spanking new cars catches flames or crashes or something and when I was watching this... I was wondring... are they gonna catch fire? lol
Dear Santa,

I think its special order-only. Yahoo motors only lists the 57, 57 S, 62 and 62 S. :P

Well maybe you shoul look for Rolls Royce and not for Maybach. Well, now both are German cars anyway.

their were some R.R cars made during the 1999-2003 time frame which had issues with their seat warmers shorting out and burning.
their was a recall issued to fic the problem
the problem was more common on the azure, rather then the Phantom
