Hell is better than heaven anyway. Imagine having to go to church every single day to sing Gods praises?? Just because God is so insecure. At least in hell, you get to meet more interesting people. The funny thing about Hell from what Christians say is that you never die in hell anyway. You just get to feel abit more heat than usual.
The idea of believing in god, is that since a manner of thought and behaviour of hatred and destructiveness and adversity came into our race long ago, we need the creator to recreate us. Recreate our character, which he does by extending his presence into ours and changing our hearts and actions, and he forgives us. No adverse conduct is permitted in the Creator's thick presence in Heaven, by his nature and for it's would hurt people and Heaven would then cease to be Heaven. Hell is for rebels
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
@clicb4 Mate, religion held me back intellectually so much - I was afraid/willfully ignorant of researching anything contradictory to the christian faith.
Don't look back, because religion makes no sense, requires very little evidence for these nonsensical claims and is bad for the world in most senses, apart from creating community events and encouraging people to give more to charity.
@imu70 not really.. (before we go too far your a muslim or a christian thing? you sound so much alike it is hard to tell the difference) the only symptom I see is a free thinking young adult confronting a father riddled with religious dogma.. hopefully he (the subject) will continue to pursue the truth on his own..
@imu70 In the age of homo sapien sapiens/neanderthalensis,
For men shall be forcing their opinions on others, Lovers of their own ignorance and unwillingness to accept they do not know the absolute truth, Aggressively opinionated, intellectually dishonest. Without natural affection, not intellectually humble, close minded, despisers of knowledge, Lovers of ignorance more than lovers of dialectic discussion, being human but not accepting the inadequacies of human endeavor.
@TennisAnnalyst "you are exhibiting a nice thing called "cognitive dissonance" and, not being peculiarly critic of your own thought, you just deny or distort things to suit your thoughts" I can say the same to you, so where does that leave us? with evidence.
Let's put our evidences to the test, you bring yours and I bring mine. Let's see who has the better arguments.
@TennisAnnalyst ""That's why everyone has fail (and if I am right on this take, it's also why everyone will continue to fail)."" If you cover you ears and just sing la la la la la, and say is cyclical and everybody fails, you are just deluding yourself.
You've failed, miserably. If you don't want to see it, you need help.
@TennisAnnalyst God cannot be = nature. I believed that when I was 20. Nature cannot be the cause of nature because nature didn't existed before the BB. You need a non-natural cause.
Which one is it?
No matter how you slice it, if you are smart, you'll always reach God. Isn't God awesome!!!
@TennisAnnalyst "that you don't need God to understand nature because you just need the relations between the elements to do that."
You need God as a first cause and his laws to have any nature whatsoever. If not, give me another first cause and we can call a draw, but you have nothing, no first cause, no argument for the laws of nature, nothing, not even a bad theory.
You try to show off some philosophy knowledge, but in reality there is no meat in you argument.
@subductionzone "Using your logic God does not exist. Ask a physicist what the total energy of the universe is." Doesn't matter what the total energy of the universe is, there are indeed areas where the energy is more concentrated, so the conclusion of your argument doesn't follow the premise.
@subductionzone "Using your logic God does not exist. Ask a physicist what the total energy of the universe is."" Furthermore, the zero total energy assumes that gravity has a negative energy value and matter a positive value, which is a huge assumption based on the fact physicists still don't agree on what gravity is in reality.
@TennisAnnalyst "That's a contradiction right there" Science shows, proves and support energy wasn't created and can't be destroyed, God is energy, so rip, discard, bury, throw your cyclical argument down the drain once and for all.
Are you paying attention to what I tell you or you just write to fill a page?
Do you intent to have a discussion or just to plug your ears and sing la la la la.
Are you a troll?
Let me know cause I have better things to do than wasting my time.
@TennisAnnalyst "scientifically valuable as any fairy tale" I wasn't aware that actually Darwin quoted the Bible as a fairy tale, not that I care much about it, but I would like to have the reference for that quote just to examine it myself. Doubt actually Darwin went that far.
"no there is not a shred of evidence to support the existence of a God" not true, there is plenty of evidence, you just don't want to see it.
"the argument will become cyclical" God is energy, what's cyclical in that?
@TennisAnnalyst "assume a thing to be real although it is not." if it is simple, prove it isn't real.
"you distort logical sequences to suit your argument" show specific sentences where I distorted logical sequences
"leap into self-contradictions" show me the contradictions, maybe you misunderstood the point.
"if you understand Dawkin's idea" what idea? explain and defend it if you can. Dawkins arguments are logically inept. This was proven by WLC, I can give you the link to the video.
@TennisAnnalyst "It is unscientific," for an all knowing being to move an atom a billion miles away to cause a chaotic chain reaction that would resurrect a body is science at it's best.
@TennisAnnalyst ""you make the assumption of God through strictly perceptual references"" God is a conscious being, a "person" like you and me (except non-phisical) so you can't study God as an object. If I were to introduce to you a friend, would you pass him though an x-ray? You need to know God personally to understand Him and His creation.
@TennisAnnalyst "show with very simple references how science points toward God and send it to Nature" why? to obtain fame? fortune? do you think that's important to me? I abandoned a fix figure salary career to serve the lord. Do you thing I care about fame and money? All I care is about sharing with others the kingdom.
@TennisAnnalyst "You can explain stars, orbits, transfers.. you don't need interventions to explain them unless you are an ignorant or that you lack the thinking skills to conceive of them" All those occur due to natural laws, all laws need a law giver. Nature didn't exist previous to the BB, so nature couldn't had created it's own laws, it's a logical contradiction. You need an external law giver. This law giver would just follow it's own laws, otherwise why would He created them if He wouldn't
@TennisAnnalyst "The truth is there is not a shred of evidence to support those claims" There's plenty of scientific evidence that favors overwhelmingly the existence of a force directing the universe than the universe coming into existence out of randomness. The Penrose calculations, Hoyle calculations, the string theory landscape model, the BB model and the definition of energy all points towards a conscious force rather than pure chance. If you're unfamiliar with them, I could explain.
@TennisAnnalyst "you can certainly understand that he's an ignorant and that he's not thinking objectively." So, you're implying Roger Penrose is an ignorant? If you don't believe your own people (atheists) who can you believe? I guess you'll need to study all disciplines just to make it through the day.
@TennisAnnalyst "Atheism is not a faith claim" Of course not, atheism is the description or name given to a belief based on faith that asserts that God isn't real. Atheism is not faith, is based on faith, which is different.
"You make a positive assertion" i do all kind of positive assertions, the difference is I don't deny I'm making faith claims.
@TennisAnnalyst "Religion is not accepted knowledge: it is baseless." Religion is not knowledge is the identifier given to an organization that is based on faith claims regarding the divine. The accepted knowledge is that there is a God, an immaterial consciousness that created the universe. Now what are your arguments to say that isn't an accepted knowledge when the majority of the people in out part of the world accepts that? You don't have any.
"Saying God doesn't exist by the way is not a positive assertion" it is, google the definition of positive atheism.
"religion is an argument of authority" it was to me when I was a kid, then I rejected it and became a non-believer, I kept looking and found the truth.
@TennisAnnalyst ""Attack the thesis Atheism proposes -- the thesis, not the people"" that's exactly what I do. Where do you think I have attacked you? Are you defending atheism? What do you believe?
@TennisAnnalyst ""the other is just waiting to be convinced"" those are agnostics. There's plenty of scientific evidence that favors overwhelmingly the existence of a force directing the universe than the universe coming into existence out of randomness. The Penrose calculations, Hoyle calculations, the string theory landscape model, the BB model and the definition of energy all points towards a conscious force rather than pure chance. If you're unfamiliar with them, I could explain.
@TennisAnnalyst The accepted knowledge always stands until the new knowledge is proven. In the 16 century Galileo had to prove the heliocentric theory vs. the geocentric dogma of the time. He didn’t said: “you are all wrong, prove the geocentric theory is right”. He got the data and presented his case. Doesn’t matter how much evidence or none the establishment has, the accepted knowledge stands and it doesn’t have to bring data forth because it's already accepted, the atheists claims do need it.
@TennisAnnalyst Atheists also make positive claims. They claim theists are deluded, that the Bible is a fairy tale and that God doesn't exist. These claims also required evidence to be proven otherwise they turn into faith claims. Do you like to be part of a cult? If not, then get the evidence or get out. If your atheism isn't based on evidence you're just changing one religion for another. Is it possible an immaterial consciousness exists? Be honest. Is there a possible world in which it could?
@TennisAnnalyst After all the dust settles, we have only two choices. Either the universe brought itself into existence, or something outside the universe, an external cause brought it into existence. The problem is how something could brought itself into existence? Is not possible, therefore the cause must be external. The only thing present was energy. The God of the Bible is described with the same attributes of energy before energy was described. The existence of God is the best explanation.
@TennisAnnalyst It is easy to assume answers from a dead person. I'm not defending his whole method, just the basic argument that you have to deconstruct your reality to construct it again. That is the true way to get rid of your biases and pre-conceived notions. I did and with the current knowledge and understanding I was able to construct a reality in which God is perfectly feasible, but you have to start from 0. With the first cause.
@TennisAnnalyst The model I followed was Descartes' I decided to completely reconstruct reality, and without God, it doesn't make any sense. Have you tried it?
@TennisAnnalyst Try to infer this: God is a spirit, an immaterial conscious being. All things in the universe consists of matter and/or energy, so if God isn't matter, is energy by definition. Energy is the capacity to do work, is eternal, omnipresent, wasn't created and can't be destroyed, can create matter, was the only thing present before the BB, and the energy required to make the universe must had been powerful. All these match Biblical descriptions of God. Therefore is plausible God exist
@TennisAnnalyst I've blogged with hundreds of atheists and they all do the same, they don't present real logical arguments to defend that atheism is true and concentrate on attacking the only arguments available, which are the ones theists present. When we answer those attacks with logical and reasonable rebuttals, they run away scared. You know why no atheist in the world can prove atheism is right?, because it isn't. God is real, open your eyes.
@TennisAnnalyst Your problem isn't with God, is with man made dogmas created in our quest to understand God. You're confused because you try to get all the answers at the same time. You need to solve one problem at a time. Solve the first one and then we can move to the others. Could an immaterial conscious being, or a form of conscious energy, create the universe? Is there any possibility for that? yes/no? If not, why not. Is there any chance God can exist in any possible world? yes/no?
@TennisAnnalyst God isn't a physical being, is an immaterial being, a spirit, a form of energy. Have you heard the phrase God is love? Try to explain the existence of love through science or art, music or beauty. Intangibles don’t fall into the realm of science because science uses empirical data and experiments to prove its theories and that cannot be done with intangibles. That's why other disciplines like philosophy or theology study them. I will post other arguments to make my case.
See, people go on about God existing and bring the proof and shit like that! If someone doesn't believe, then leave them be, same as those who want to believe leave them be! I believe, so what, why has it got to be seen as a way of dividing people! It's cool that we are all different!
God exists, that's the accepted claim by the majority of people, you want to challenge that, bring the evidence, the burden of proof is on YOU. Some narrow minded atheist proposed the wrong notion that atheism doesn't require evidence and many gullible atheists had run to foolishly embrace it. Philosophically the burden of proof is in the argument challenging the establishment. What evidence you have that atheism is true? None, zero, nada. Open your eyes, you're being deceived by an evil cult.
@dejesusluisx It was once an accepted claim that the world was flat by the majority of people, but nobody believes that now. It's the majority's job to prove their claim, no matter how popular it is. You have the wrong concept of Atheism. It's not a prove or disprove thing. It's a position in reference to a claim. I know that probably won't matter to you as you don't appear to be open-minded, that's the way it is...like gravity.
@clicb4 The accepted knowledge always stands until the new knowledge is proven. In the 16 century Galileo had to prove the heliocentric theory vs. the geocentric dogma of the time. He didn’t said: “you are all wrong, prove the geocentric theory is right”. He got the data and presented his case.
Where is your case for atheism? why is true? what evidence convinced you to come to that belief? did someone tell you? a revelation??? tell us please!!!
@clicb4 "The accepted knowledge always stands until the new knowledge is proven. In the 16 century Galileo had to prove the heliocentric theory vs. the geocentric dogma of the time. He didn’t said: “you are all wrong, prove the geocentric theory is right”. He got the data and presented his case."
Where is your case for atheism? What evidence you have atheism is true?? what evidence convinced you??? revelation? someone told you and you believed them??? tell us please!!!
@dejesusluisx Again, you are misunderstanding the point of Atheism. Atheism is the denial of a claim BECAUSE the claim is lacking in evidence. It's different from religion. The claims for religion are insufficient and lacking in evidence. The only reason religious people give when it really comes down to it is the threat of hell and faith, neither which are good reasons to accept a proposition. "I don't wanna burn forever" & "most people believe it" are not good reasons to believe something
@clicb4 "you are misunderstanding the point of Atheism" I understand perfectly, I was a non-believer. I'm trying to show you something with my insistence and you don't see it. Try meditate about it. There must be a trigger. You heard someone speaking, some argument, and then something click in your head and you said, aha!. What was it? The issue is you're closing your mind to the possibility, which isn't a smart thing to do. I agree you shouldn't be a hypocrite, but you should keep looking.
@dejesusluisx Dude, no. You're trying to project this concept that you have onto me and I'm telling you it's wrong. I don't care if you label yourself as a former non-believer. You apparently weren't an Atheist because you have no grasp of what the term actually means. What drove me away from religion was watching tons of debates and seeing the "logic" in religion eroded over time. There was no "one thing that clicked". Religion just slowly became a faulty concept to me.
@clicb4 "seeing the "logic" in religion eroded over time" I knew it. You're bound to fundamentalist dogmas. Religions and dogmas are man made, God isn't. There is one God, one divine consciousness with many names and dogmas people had created in our quest to understand that transcendent experience we call God. Forget all you know about dogmas and think if the possibility of a creator is feasible or not. I have irrefutable scientific evidence to support this claim. God is real, dogmas might not.
@dejesusluisx you are right in saying we cannot disprove the idea of a god. But so can't you disprove the flying spagetti monster. Thing is: we can disprove most of what is in the Bible, making the god YOU believe wrong. many dates are wrong (including the age of the earth) and some events never actually happened. Also, evolution is a fact (The part that is theory is on the many details by wich it occurs) wich also contradict YOUR peticular god idea. Eat shit: 100M flies can't be wrong!
@ErgoProxy12345 "including the age of the earth" No, that one is right. Ancient people didn't know scientific notation then. The world was indeed created in 6 days, that is 6 X 10^12 days. That's the 12th power, that is why 12 is the number of power, 12 tribes, 12 apostles, etc...
@dejesusluisx it's the attitude of people like you that makes me understand why people don't believe! And how is atheism a "cult"? So it's a cult to believe in nothing? What kind of misguided idiot are you???
@tattoodfreeek A belief is based on faith. By definition “Faith is a belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence”, then atheists belief that God doesn't exists need to be proven with material evidence, otherwise is faith. Theists by definition, don't need that. Without evidence, atheists are just changing one faith for another. I'm just trying to make atheists open their eyes and show them that their faith experiment could have grave consequences
@dejesusluisx But if they have no faith, then there is no belief! An atheist asks for evidence to prove why someone believes in God! But if they choose to not believe hen leave them be! Heck, it even tells you in the Bible that you should test it, to know that it's true! See without testing it and proving, even if it's to yourself, that its true, then you are believing in it in blind faith, you're hoping its true, and blind faith is not healthy
@tattoodfreeek This is the way it worked for me: first you need to desire with all your heart God's help. If you do it just for fun or just to give it a shot, it won’t work. You get on your knees and pray out loud. Ask for the Lord enlightenment. You need to renounce to the anchors that won’t let you open your heart, it could be hate, anger, pride, or skepticism (that was mine). When God think you are ready, He will send you a sign that only you will understand. Then you’ll believe.
@dejesusluisx why have you just made this about me? I'm looking into Christianity after leaving another religion, I believe in God! What I think is wrong is how a lot of so called Christians feel they need to push their faith on to others! This guy along with many others in the world don't believe in God, and I respect them for making that choice! But it is a choice and not necessarily a belief!
@tattoodfreeek I'm glad you do. Keep your quest and one day you'll understand perfectly why I do the things I do. If you love a son and you see him making wrong decisions that you know will hurt them, you will try to persuade them out of love. If you don't love them, you might care less.
A was a non-believer turned into Christianity, I was blessed, is like finding a treasure. Is it wrong to want to share it with others?
@dejesusluisx If I had a son and saw him make a decision that was contrary to what I felt was right, I'd discuss it with him, but not force my view! Regardless of what a son or daughter decides to follow or no longer believe, you still love them!
@tattoodfreeek That's what I'm just doing. Just commenting. I'm I forcing anyone? How can I force someone I don't know and have no influence on from a distance???
@xyoop which one? the one about gravity? do you know anything about physics? look up what general relativity has to say about gravity and what quantum physics has to say. After you do, we can have an intelligent discussion.
You know, I actually think its sweet you refer to your father as Daddy. It something here in the north we frown on, but I find it touching. Sorry, I just wanted to say that. I'm sorry your father isn't very accepting. I hope thigns got better in the nearly 3 yrs you made this video.
@Boudiga Yes, things have improved in the 3 years. We don't talk about religion much these days. And why would people frown on what term someone calls their parents? My dad and his siblings called their father the same thing until the day he died.
@clicb4 I don't agree w/ it, but my guess its considered unmasculine or some other macho bull. It just goes to show that even in the liberal north their are still snobs and jackasses. I'm able to refer to my father as daddy, small children can do this as well. But for an adult man its considered odd to say the least. However I think its sweet. I'm glad your father and you are fixing your relationship. Sometimes religion is just the wrong thing to talk about. Its like that w/ my born again uncle.
think you have problems, my parents are atheist like me but they swear blind that 9/11 was a conspiracy, no matter what i say they alwas have counter evidence using that damn "twuthers" argument as their own personal 9/11 bible...
convincing a twuther is just as bad as convincing a christian, it seems faith really is not wanting to understand that the world is a chaotic, unpredictable and pretty simple place, havig a higher figure gives comfort to people, alot of people.
@mrh112 I haven't watched it myself, but TheAmazingAtheist is always telling the 9/11 "truthers" to go watch the debate on YouTube between the guys from Loose Change and the guys from Popular mechanics.

First off why are you publically laundering your family issues. Secondly why are you living with daddy? As long as you live in his house, you live by his rules. I disowned my immediate family because they are bible thumbers who allways rub it in your face. They know im an atheist yet they would say things like "im preying for you". Disown them, you will be much happier.
@bakkerrich1979 First of all, I'm relaying a conversation I had with my dad. It's actually a common issue and I even say in the annotation that we have agreed to disagree and we do love each other. You act like I'm making some kind of soap opera. This has been a small portion of my life.
Secondly, I know people older than myself that are living with their parents for various reasons, but I like how you didn't even take into account that this video is almost 3 years old.
@bakkerrich1979 And third, I wouldn't disown my own family. And for saying something as simple to me as "I'm praying for you."? Really? Let them say it if they want. I'm secure enough with myself to not let something small like that offend me THAT much. I don't agree with it, but I'm not going to disown them because they believe differently.

@clicb4 Then dont fucking whine about it on youtube you loser. Oh BTW, I dont care what the reasons are, only pussies live with their parents, regardless of the reaons.
@bakkerrich1979 Ah, the stench of a troll. Maybe someone's house burned down or they ran into hard times and had to move back home. Ever think of that? Of course not. You just like being an asshat. Be gone and take your bullshit somewhere else.
@clicb4 I struggled with many of the same things as you are. If you need another choice look into "The Science of Mind" it not Christian Science or Dianetics.
so if his fathers rules were that he gets to beat him every day as long as he lives in his house its perfectly fine if he beats him daily? you may be ahteist but you need tho think moral issues more carefully. just cause you met a girl and she moves in doesnt mean you can force her to do stuff for you cause thats the rules that youve set up. emposing religious views and religious ceremonialism on someone is immoral wheather or not he lives under the opresors roof or not u should know that.
after all, wasnt that the reason youve left your house?that your family didnt behave fair and moral towards your lack of belief? shame you act that way towards the guy. id thaught that haveing done what say you did would learn you something besides acting giving yourself handjobs by acting macho cause he lives with his parents. You owe him an apology, thats the decent thing to do and THAT would show maturity manlyness from you cause you came out as angry boy that trashes others to feel better
@clicb4, Listen to him and respect him, it is important that you believe in God and Jesus because heaven and hell DOES exist man, there is no middle ground when you pass away. Read the Book of Enoch which is exempt from the Bible for good reason since it shows you who our fellow U.F.O's and Aliens really are. Please watch Vision of Rapture here on youtube, the one that includes the keyword Micheal Jackson at the end of the title, carry Christ in your heart brother.
@gamecollect101 There is no Hell, that's daft and was a Roman invention to get bums on pews. Do you really think your loving and just God would allow you to be tortured for all of eternity for finite 'sins' committed on Earth?
Religion is the only thing that can take us back in stone ages, there is no GOD that gives you freedom. That is because religion is a man-made thing to control masses. Religious have always tought only believers got souls and other humans who don' t believe in the same religion doesn' t. Who are they to judge who deserve a paradise in afterlife? They brought wars in our life. If there is an afterlife every creature in the universe deserves it.
@MrTruebluemonkey Read the annotations and video responses. It's not this bad anymore. Actually, I've made a newer update from this video and things seems to be better even after that video I made last year.
@MrTruebluemonkey It's a natural reaction for a lot of people that see the video(s). He has his prick'ish moments, but so do I. I moved out of his house sometime after this video was shot (not because of religion) and have had to move back in due to lowlife assholes. In my time back here (about a month and a half now), they only time he's really said anything to me about religion was wanting me to go to church for Mother's Day to show family support, which I did. Usually, nothing is said.
@clicb4 i think its amazing that Christians and other religious people preach peace and love to everyone, but then religious people are the ONLY ones who actually shun other people because of their lack of faith in THEIR God.
I know your pain. My dad is a born again and it is impossible to talk to him without him trying to convert me. I haven't spoken to him for years. His religious beliefs are preventing a son and father from having a meaningful relationship. thanx for the upload.
@jcac1023 Thanx for your reply and concern. He knows how I feel and in the past it was always I extending the olive branch so-to-speak. Until I tell him I am willing to accept his beliefs on my own I don't think we can have a relationship. I hope one day he will see the error of his ways but I'm afraid that day isn't today. He knows how to contact me. Once again thank you for the advice. Peace.
Isn't America about freedom and the pursuit of happiness? Your country was founded so that people could be free to believe what they want, by people fleeing religious oppression in Europe, and yet here you are suffering religious oppression because your own family won't let you believe what you want! and at the same time, in Europe I was 35 before I even asked if my parents had any religious belief.. "The bible is fiction, faith is a virus, and god is no different than the tooth fairy".. IMO.
Christians are mentally I'll and should be treated accordingly. Congratulations on your skepticism, I personally think the Bible is disgusting and full of contradictions.
@clicb4 - . The "God isn't sending you there" argument is erroneous.
No. God does have an intended plan for your life, but through sin and lies of the enemy that path has been obscured. Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way which leads to destruction and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
In 30 years, when you live in your own place, and your dad will have to move in with you or into a retirement home, you tell him: "I'm not comfortable having a christian living under my roof."
Don't listen to that crap. If there is a God, he's sure as hell not the one who wrote the Bible, so don't worry about going to Hell, man! You live your life without regrets!
Give it time. Not all believers can deal with too much information all at once. Not only does it make their head spin, they have to come to terms with the fact that they've been wrong ALL along. It's difficult. It's not a logical argument at some point (the logic is easy) but an emotional one (you're dealing with people who don't want to consider how much time they wasted being wrong, among other things).
@OrthodoxDarwinist His father has the wrong idea of Christianity. If he were a TRUE Christian (no scottsman fallacy intended), he would not even THINK of kicking you out of his house. You need to find somebody who really knows their stuff and try and stand up to it. It's okay to be an agnostic, but don't join the mainstream.

Your only sending yourself to Hell if you don't accept Jesus (by the way is a free gift called salvation) , God isnt sending you there, you love darkness more than light, evil more than good, therefore hell would be your home. Now look no one is perfect, but one, Jesus, and He is the propitiation for our sins, the only one who stands in the gap to plead our case before God the father, the only reason we can have a loving relationship with God. Good works alone cannot get you to heaven.
@theageofgrace God's unchangeable divine plan automatically determines where people will go before they are even born. The "God isn't sending you there" argument is erroneous.
@11MrBiscuit According to Christianity, that's pretty much it. "God" might give you some virgins when you die though, if you end up with the right outcome in "God-roulette" and choose the right god. Sorry, no lifelines allowed.
@gluepot66 - Satans,( who isnt a god) but is the prince of this world, the great deciever, the accuser of the brethren, the father of lies, can apear as an angel of light, a wolf in sheeps clothing.
@theageofgrace God is supposedly omniscient - he knows everything has happened, and will happen. Therefore, your destiny is already determined - it does not matter what you do.
God has forgiven me for ALL of my sins. If not believing in him is a sin - I will still go to heaven...if there is one, which there isn't.
@tjhombs - Your destiny is determined by what you choose to make of it. You have a choice to Accept God who died for your sins. If any one ends up in hell its their own fault. You have two choices- humble yourself, admit that you have done some things in your life which are wrong that you need forgiveness for - or you can say stuff God, I am justified by myself.
@theageofgrace God knows all - so he has already made his choice for you - you have no further say in it.
There is no need to accept Jesus. If accepting Jesus is a sin, then it has already been forgiven, because God knew it would happen. EVERYONE goes to heaven whether they want to or not. God forgave ALL sins.
@theageofgrace lol - Why would I debate evolution? The evidence is so incontrovertible that debating it is pointless.
I believe that anyone who has any remote belief about what "God" might or might not be is just stupid. If there is a God, he has way more important things to do than to worry about a bunch of worthless specs on a frozen planet in some remote part of his universe.
@tjhombs - Ok cool. You are right that to know all about God you would have to be God yourself seing as he is infinite, and we are only humans . but according to the Word of God (the bible) God does love us, in fact he created us so we could have a loving relationship with him, like a father to son. For God so loved the world that He gave us Jesus (God himself) in a human body(who is His son but is God), full of grace and truth, That if we believe Him and confess our sins, he forgives us.
@tjhombs - The fact that you would think God doesnt care about us couldnt be any further from the truth. The greatest threat this world is facing is fatherlessness; sons and daughters that dont have or believe they are loved by their parents, I tell you the greatest love language of a child isnt money, or things, its time; And that is what God desires to spend with each and every person on the planet. The apostle Paul wrote " I count all things as dung besides the excellency of knowing Christ.
@theageofgrace Without using the bible, prove that God cares about ANYTHING that happens on this planet - like how he saved people from the Japanese earthquake, tsunami, nuclear disaster, etc. Oh that's right - all the good that happened were done by other humans. Got it - God wasn't there because there is no God. OK - thanks!
@tjhombs - Your looking at this planet like its the only thing you got going for you. there is an infinite realm called the spirit world where everything created will arrive at after this life here. God does care about people why am i even bothering with you, you dont care....
@theageofgrace There is more to helping people than believing in God. I volunteer at a Christian shelter. Their mission is worthy, they do good work, and they need help. You may think I don't care, but the fact is that I do.
I just don't agree with you. As I said before, if there is a God, it is silly to think that you or anyone else knows anything at all about him.
@tjhombs Well you would have to know one thing about him. i.e that he exists. Christians claim to know even more than that. They claim to know that he is omniscient, omnipotent, omni-benevolent and omnipresent. They claim that they know what his will is. If you know nothing about him AT ALL you would not even have the word "God". To say that you cannot know anything about him at all yet claim to know that he exists is a contradiction.
@tjhombs So your gods a liar? He said he would never mess with free will and if I cant choose not to go then there is no free will....... But then with a threat of hell how would it be free will anyway......
The bible, on the other hand, is full of contradictions. I wouldn't necessarily say the authors were lieing, but they were definately making stuff up as they go along - just like the Christian leaders today. Remember, religious leaders are politicians after all.
@theageofgrace You can't even spell. I will ignore the rest of the fallacies in your argument and merely ask, why aren't the Muslims or the Hindus right? How do you know you're correct in your ridiculous beliefs; because you were raised that way? Wow, you must be right then.
@theageofgrace - Ridiculious! The concept that you posted is not based on any form of reason but insanity. Since persons of "good will" do not choose to go to such a place (hell) it is highly unlikely that such a being called a "God" who is apparently loving and righteous who has the power to prevent such a incident would send such a individual to such a place. Since God is "omnipotent" and according to those who believe in him and is responsible for everything that is created, he is -
responsible for the creation of "hell" and those that he sends there. This would not make such a "being" a loving righteous individual, but a monstrous tyrant devoid of any form of Humanity or empathy. Jesus is used as a "middleman" or a safeguard to prevent those from the wrath of such a terrible judge. He has sacrificed himself for your so-called "sins" for which you're not guilty of in order to avoid everlasting punishment. This "concept" is based on the "Mafia Boss" scenario in which you -
agree or choose to make payments to such a middleman to avoid any for of wrath or "bodily harm" from such a boss for a crime that you are not guilty of. Such a hypothesis is not based on love or understanding but fear and insanity. In my opinion, I see no good reason(s) for anyone who has the ability of rational thought and the acceptance of reason who lives their life based on this concept to accept such a form of crackpot nonsense.
@iliveon Wow, really? You're that easily distracted? AND you felt the need to post your douchebaggery? Someone needs to tax your annoyance. They'd get rich quick. I've never even noticed that I swallow in this video. I can't believe someone would get that irritated over something so small.

@TennisAnnalyst God cannot be = nature. I believed that when I was 20. Nature cannot be the cause of nature because nature didn't existed before the BB. You need a non-natural cause.

Doesn’t matter how much evidence or none the establishment has, the accepted knowledge stands and it doesn’t have to bring data forth because it's already accepted, the atheists claims do need it.
dejesusluisx 5 months ago
@TennisAnnalyst Atheists also make positive claims. They claim theists are deluded, that the Bible is a fairy tale and that God doesn't exist. These claims also required evidence to be proven otherwise they turn into faith claims. Do you like to be part of a cult? If not, then get the evidence or get out. If your atheism isn't based on evidence you're just changing one religion for another. Is it possible an immaterial consciousness exists? Be honest. Is there a possible world in which it could?
dejesusluisx 5 months ago
@TennisAnnalyst After all the dust settles, we have only two choices. Either the universe brought itself into existence, or something outside the universe, an external cause brought it into existence. The problem is how something could brought itself into existence? Is not possible, therefore the cause must be external. The only thing present was energy. The God of the Bible is described with the same attributes of energy before energy was described. The existence of God is the best explanation.
dejesusluisx 5 months ago
@TennisAnnalyst It is easy to assume answers from a dead person. I'm not defending his whole method, just the basic argument that you have to deconstruct your reality to construct it again. That is the true way to get rid of your biases and pre-conceived notions. I did and with the current knowledge and understanding I was able to construct a reality in which God is perfectly feasible, but you have to start from 0. With the first cause.
dejesusluisx 5 months ago
@TennisAnnalyst Have you read the method? It was his way of finding God.
dejesusluisx 5 months ago
@TennisAnnalyst The model I followed was Descartes' I decided to completely reconstruct reality, and without God, it doesn't make any sense. Have you tried it?
dejesusluisx 5 months ago
@TennisAnnalyst Try to infer this: God is a spirit, an immaterial conscious being. All things in the universe consists of matter and/or energy, so if God isn't matter, is energy by definition. Energy is the capacity to do work, is eternal, omnipresent, wasn't created and can't be destroyed, can create matter, was the only thing present before the BB, and the energy required to make the universe must had been powerful. All these match Biblical descriptions of God. Therefore is plausible God exist
dejesusluisx 5 months ago
@TennisAnnalyst I've blogged with hundreds of atheists and they all do the same, they don't present real logical arguments to defend that atheism is true and concentrate on attacking the only arguments available, which are the ones theists present. When we answer those attacks with logical and reasonable rebuttals, they run away scared. You know why no atheist in the world can prove atheism is right?, because it isn't. God is real, open your eyes.
dejesusluisx 5 months ago
@TennisAnnalyst Your problem isn't with God, is with man made dogmas created in our quest to understand God. You're confused because you try to get all the answers at the same time. You need to solve one problem at a time. Solve the first one and then we can move to the others. Could an immaterial conscious being, or a form of conscious energy, create the universe? Is there any possibility for that? yes/no? If not, why not. Is there any chance God can exist in any possible world? yes/no?
dejesusluisx 5 months ago
@TennisAnnalyst God isn't a physical being, is an immaterial being, a spirit, a form of energy. Have you heard the phrase God is love? Try to explain the existence of love through science or art, music or beauty. Intangibles don’t fall into the realm of science because science uses empirical data and experiments to prove its theories and that cannot be done with intangibles. That's why other disciplines like philosophy or theology study them. I will post other arguments to make my case.
dejesusluisx 5 months ago
See, people go on about God existing and bring the proof and shit like that! If someone doesn't believe, then leave them be, same as those who want to believe leave them be! I believe, so what, why has it got to be seen as a way of dividing people! It's cool that we are all different!
tattoodfreeek 5 months ago
God exists, that's the accepted claim by the majority of people, you want to challenge that, bring the evidence, the burden of proof is on YOU. Some narrow minded atheist proposed the wrong notion that atheism doesn't require evidence and many gullible atheists had run to foolishly embrace it. Philosophically the burden of proof is in the argument challenging the establishment. What evidence you have that atheism is true? None, zero, nada. Open your eyes, you're being deceived by an evil cult.
dejesusluisx 5 months ago
@dejesusluisx It was once an accepted claim that the world was flat by the majority of people, but nobody believes that now. It's the majority's job to prove their claim, no matter how popular it is. You have the wrong concept of Atheism. It's not a prove or disprove thing. It's a position in reference to a claim. I know that probably won't matter to you as you don't appear to be open-minded, that's the way it is...like gravity.

@dejesusluisx Dude, no. You're trying to project this concept that you have onto me and I'm telling you it's wrong. I don't care if you label yourself as a former non-believer. Religion just slowly became a faulty concept to me.
clicb4 5 months ago
@clicb4 "seeing the "logic" in religion eroded over time" I knew it. You're bound to fundamentalist dogmas. Religions and dogmas are man made, God isn't. There is one God, one divine consciousness with many names and dogmas people had created in our quest to understand that transcendent experience we call God. Forget all you know about dogmas and think if the possibility of a creator is feasible or not. I have irrefutable scientific evidence to support this claim. God is real, dogmas might not.

@dejesusluisx it's the attitude of people like you that makes me understand why people don't believe! And how is atheism a "cult"? So it's a cult to believe in nothing? What kind of misguided idiot are you???
tattoodfreeek 5 months ago
@tattoodfreeek A belief is based on faith. By definition “Faith is a belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence”, then atheists belief that God doesn't exists need to be proven with material evidence, otherwise is faith. Theists by definition, don't need that. Without evidence, atheists are just changing one faith for another. I'm just trying to make atheists open their eyes and show them that their faith experiment could have grave consequences
dejesusluisx 5 months ago
@dejesusluisx But if they have no faith, then there is no belief! An atheist asks for evidence to prove why someone believes in God! But if they choose to not believe hen leave them be! Heck, it even tells you in the Bible that you should test it, to know that it's true! See without testing it and proving, even if it's to yourself, that its true, then you are believing in it in blind faith, you're hoping its true, and blind faith is not healthy
tattoodfreeek 5 months ago
@tattoodfreeek This is the way it worked for me: first you need to desire with all your heart God's help. If you do it just for fun or just to give it a shot, it won’t work. You get on your knees and pray out loud. Ask for the Lord enlightenment. You need to renounce to the anchors that won’t let you open your heart, it could be hate, anger, pride, or skepticism (that was mine). When God think you are ready, He will send you a sign that only you will understand. Then you’ll believe.
dejesusluisx 5 months ago

You know, I actually think its sweet you refer to your father as Daddy. It something here in the north we frown on, but I find it touching. Sorry, I just wanted to say that. I'm sorry your father isn't very accepting. I hope thigns got better in the nearly 3 yrs you made this video.
Boudiga 5 months ago
@Boudiga Yes, things have improved in the 3 years. We don't talk about religion much these days. And why would people frown on what term someone calls their parents? My dad and his siblings called their father the same thing until the day he died.
clicb4 5 months ago
@clicb4 I don't agree w/ it, but my guess its considered unmasculine or some other macho bull. It just goes to show that even in the liberal north their are still snobs and jackasses. I'm able to refer to my father as daddy, small children can do this as well. But for an adult man its considered odd to say the least. However I think its sweet. I'm glad your father and you are fixing your relationship. Sometimes religion is just the wrong thing to talk about. Its like that w/ my born again uncle.
Boudiga 5 months ago
think you have problems, my parents are atheist like me but they swear blind that 9/11 was a conspiracy, no matter what i say they alwas have counter evidence using that damn "twuthers" argument as their own personal 9/11 bible...
convincing a twuther is just as bad as convincing a christian, it seems faith really is not wanting to understand that the world is a chaotic, unpredictable and pretty simple place, havig a higher figure gives comfort to people, alot of people.

First off why are you publically laundering your family issues. Secondly why are you living with daddy? As long as you live in his house, you live by his rules. I disowned my immediate family because they are bible thumbers who allways rub it in your face. They know im an atheist yet they would say things like "im preying for you". Disown them, you will be much happier.
bakkerrich1979 7 months ago
@bakkerrich1979 First of all, I'm relaying a conversation I had with my dad. It's actually a common issue and I even say in the annotation that we have agreed to disagree and we do love each other. You act like I'm making some kind of soap opera. This has been a small portion of my life.
Secondly, I know people older than myself that are living with their parents for various reasons, but I like how you didn't even take into account that this video is almost 3 years old.
clicb4 7 months ago 9
@bakkerrich1979 And third, I wouldn't disown my own family. And for saying something as simple to me as "I'm praying for you."? Really? Let them say it if they want. I'm secure enough with myself to not let something small like that offend me THAT much. I don't agree with it, but I'm not going to disown them because they believe differently.

so if his fathers rules were that he gets to beat him every day as long as he lives in his house its perfectly fine if he beats him daily? you may be ahteist but you need tho think moral issues more carefully. just cause you met a girl and she moves in doesnt mean you can force her to do stuff for you cause thats the rules that youve set up. emposing religious views and religious ceremonialism on someone is immoral wheather or not he lives under the opresors roof or not u should know that.
86Corvus 7 months ago
after all, wasnt that the reason youve left your house?that your family didnt behave fair and moral towards your lack of belief? shame you act that way towards the guy. id thaught that haveing done what say you did would learn you something besides acting giving yourself handjobs by acting macho cause he lives with his parents. You owe him an apology, thats the decent thing to do and THAT would show maturity manlyness from you cause you came out as angry boy that trashes others to feel better
86Corvus 7 months ago
@clicb4, Listen to him and respect him, it is important that you believe in God and Jesus because heaven and hell DOES exist man, there is no middle ground when you pass away. Read the Book of Enoch which is exempt from the Bible for good reason since it shows you who our fellow U.F.O's and Aliens really are.

IMO.

Hang in there.

Polterguist 11 months ago
@theageofgrace God is supposedly omniscient - he knows everything has happened, and will happen. Therefore, your destiny is already determined - it does not matter what you do.
God has forgiven me for ALL of my sins. If not believing in him is a sin - I will still go to heaven...if there is one, which there isn't.
tjhombs 10 months ago
@tjhombs - Your destiny is determined by what you choose to make of it. You have a choice to Accept God who died for your sins. If any one ends up in hell its their own fault. You have two choices- humble yourself, admit that you have done some things in your life which are wrong that you need forgiveness for - or you can say stuff God, I am justified by myself.
God resists the proud, but exalts the humble.
theageofgrace 10 months ago
@theageofgrace God knows all - so he has already made his choice for you - you have no further say in it.
There is no need to accept Jesus. If accepting Jesus is a sin, then it has already been forgiven, because God knew it would happen. EVERYONE goes to heaven whether they want to or not. God forgave ALL sins.
tjhombs 10 months ago
@tjhombs - Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the father, except through me."
theageofgrace 10 months ago
@theageofgrace That is true - then he died so that I may go to heaven.
Every day, I say this prayer. "Lord, you do not exist. Forgive my disbelief so that I may go to heaven."
"Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD.”
And you forgave the guilt of my sin."
- Psalms 32:5
Thank the non-existant God! I get to go to heaven!
tjhombs 10 months ago
@tjhombs - So if you dont believe in God, what do you believe in. And dont tell me evolution, cos im not in the mood for a circular reasoning debate.
theageofgrace 10 months ago
@theageofgrace lol - Why would I debate evolution? The evidence is so incontrovertible that debating it is pointless.
I believe that anyone who has any remote belief about what "God" might or might not be is just stupid. If there is a God, he has way more important things to do than to worry about a bunch of worthless specs on a frozen planet in some remote part of his universe.
Second, there is no God. Any other questions?
tjhombs 10 months ago
@tjhombs - Ok cool. You are right that to know all about God you would have to be God yourself seing as he is infinite, and we are only humans . but according to the Word of God (the bible) God does love us, in fact he created us so we could have a loving relationship with him, like a father to son. For God so loved the world that He gave us Jesus (God himself) in a human body(who is His son but is God), full of grace and truth, That if we believe Him and confess our sins, he forgives us.
theageofgrace 10 months ago
@tjhombs - The fact that you would think God doesnt care about us couldnt be any further from the truth. The greatest threat this world is facing is fatherlessness; sons and daughters that dont have or believe they are loved by their parents, I tell you the greatest love language of a child isnt money, or things, its time; And that is what God desires to spend with each and every person on the planet. The apostle Paul wrote " I count all things as dung besides the excellency of knowing Christ.
theageofgrace 10 months ago
@theageofgrace Without using the bible, prove that God cares about ANYTHING that happens on this planet - like how he saved people from the Japanese earthquake, tsunami, nuclear disaster, etc. Oh that's right - all the good that happened were done by other humans. Got it - God wasn't there because there is no God. OK - thanks!
tjhombs 10 months ago
@tjhombs - Your looking at this planet like its the only thing you got going for you. there is an infinite realm called the spirit world where everything created will arrive at after this life here. God does care about people why am i even bothering with you, you dont care....
theageofgrace 10 months ago
@theageofgrace There is more to helping people than believing in God. I volunteer at a Christian shelter. Their mission is worthy, they do good work, and they need help. You may think I don't care, but the fact is that I do.
I just don't agree with you. As I said before, if there is a God, it is silly to think that you or anyone else knows anything at all about him.
tjhombs 10 months ago
@tjhombs Well you would have to know one thing about him. i.e that he exists. Christians claim to know even more than that. They claim to know that he is omniscient, omnipotent, omni-benevolent and omnipresent. They claim that they know what his will is. If you know nothing about him AT ALL you would not even have the word "God". To say that you cannot know anything about him at all yet claim to know that he exists is a contradiction.

@parkert51 There is no God, so how can he lie?
The bible, on the other hand, is full of contradictions. I wouldn't necessarily say the authors were lieing, but they were definately making stuff up as they go along - just like the Christian leaders today. Remember, religious leaders are politicians after all.

PrivateJoker17 10 months ago
@theageofgrace - Ridiculious! The concept that you posted is not based on any form of reason but insanity. Since persons of "good will" do not choose to go to such a place (hell) it is highly unlikely that such a being called a "God" who is apparently loving and righteous who has the power to prevent such a incident would send such a individual to such a place. Since God is "omnipotent" and according to those who believe in him and is responsible for everything that is created, he is -
VirgilB01 10 months ago
responsible for the creation of "hell" and those that he sends there. This "concept" is based on the "Mafia Boss" scenario in which you -
VirgilB01 10 months ago
agree or choose to make payments to such a middleman to avoid any for of wrath or "bodily harm" from such a boss for a crime that you are not guilty of. Such a hypothesis is not based on love or understanding but fear and insanity. In my opinion, I see no good reason(s) for anyone who has the ability of rational thought and the acceptance of reason who lives their life based on this concept to accept such a form of crackpot nonsense.
