  • Thats GLENN HUGHES

  • Joe Bonnamassa, Jason Bonham, Jeff Hughes and Derek Sheridian. Four of the most tlanted music makers that ever drew breath and this album is proof. Amazing stuff.

  • Man I fell in love with this song when it first came out in the early 70s...Everybody was into Trapeze in my little part of Louisiana. "Medusa" and "You are the music" where some of my favorite LPs...Recorded them on my home cassette deck and played them in my car deck...Cruising down the streets, drinking and smoking hash...getting decked...I love this band...

  • Wow! I owe That Metal Show big time. These guys are great!

  • Medusa, esta música é muito boa!!!

  • BCC CONGRATS ON BEING VOTED BEST HARD ROCK BAND OF THE LAST 10YEARS. UR !!! MUSIC LIKE THIS OPENED THE DOOR AND INSPIRED THE GREAT MUSIC OF TODAY. IM ADDICTED TO IT. GREAT LINE UP TO WIN THIS AWARD. Glenn, Joe, Jason and Derek all who have shown people

  • Wow,i am blown away......dig.

  • and if you want to hear him at his best listen to BLACK CLOUD by TRAPEZE

  • almost as good as the original when he was with Trapeze

  • If you voted dislike on this, you're soul is in big trouble.

  • @skyg0d If anyone dares, his/her ass will be in trouble!

    Hope it's a she :P

  • Soungarden's BACK!!!! LOL! JK! I'm medicated! Heeheehee!

  • Holy Shit!!!, Holy Shit!!! I agree Rock is Back!!!

  • GO JOE! \m/

  • Going to Amazon now and buying this,. Thanks TMS for the info. You know, the music industry could make a come back if more bands sounded this good.

  • my gooood 10+...super band!!!

  • MAN !!!! what a line up !! Bonamassa, Hughes and Bonham,, this is some great stuff !! Thanks to "That Metal Show" for turnng me onto this !! I hadnt heard,, great rock n roll !!

  • Glenn is a great singer..This is better than the original..(Trapeze)

  • yes! I hope there will be more bands like Deep Purple, Rainbow, Uriah Heep in the Future...we need them! :)

  • Glenn Hughes is hands down one of the most underrated vocalists as well as one of the most underrated bassists. Love this remake of the original Trapeze song. Joe B also shreds on the guitar on this track. Brilliant!

  • it sounds pretty much like in the light. awesome :D

  • Yeah! Rock is back!!!

  • There is nothing wrong with making music in the vain of a certain genre of music ..70's or other as long as it is fresh and not just ripping off old melodies. Blues has about 8 different main riffs but is still going strong. This group is doing a great jod of keeping the ROCK fresh with the song structure of the clasic 70's vibe. More power to them. We could use more like them as far as I'm concerned.

  • true, but that only means one thing: don´t listen to the radio! I don´t...

  • We might be living in the 21st century, but turn on the radio and u won't hear anything this good!!!

  • i am not saying this is bad music, it is obviously good music. but - come on, u are saying it, i have heard this in the early seventies, even the late sixties (of the last century!). this music in regression, we are living in the 21st century!

  • @MrMokel

If it's good my friend, there is no need to change. That can be applied to anything in life.

  • Does this remind anyone else of classic Pink Floyd only harder?

  • i was one of the lucky ones to have supported Trapeze in the eighties, Mel and crew,

    outstanding! thanks for posting.

  • @ckit4u Trapeze owns and obviously BCC as well. From the heart and soul.

  • i hope this band could be the pioneer of the rising of Rock n Roll!! and also Them Crooked Vultures.

  • All of you who say " Rock is back" and Glenn is awesome with this song....he should be . He's been singing this song since the early 1970's with the band Trapeze. Again , I'm decades ahead of the curve. LOL hehehehe hahahahaha

  • Rival Sons play this kinda style of classic rock much better. No Glenn, that sounds too calculated, doesn't get in the hips and also doesn't get in the feet. Well produced, but the soul is missing. Super group means not always great music. See Chickenfood. The same goes for them, too, what a pity...

  • This, and The Black Keys, Are Fucking good New Rock!

  • Classic rock reborn. Finally some justice is done. Thank you Rock Gods.

  • Wow Glenn Hughes souds like Gary Moore.Hard Rock is Back!!!

  • One person has snakes in their head......

  • why the face?

  • Feels smooth like velvet, laid by gods of men, true music legends, and its filled with stuff of ages gone by!

  • Love this band

    great combo of musicians

really good to hear Jason in a

band where his potential can be

used instead of everyone expecting him

    to be John

  • Glens pipes are STILL AWESOME!!!

  • Brings back high school memories. Glen Hughes sounds better than ever. Love it!

  • Damn this is awesome....even better than Trapeze original!

  • One word: Awesome! I've listened to Trapeze-Trapeze since 1970, "Medusa" has never sounded better. This a great supergroup, long live Black Country Communion. (almost called "Let's Zep Again"!) Also, Give Joe Bonamassa's new album "Dust Bowl" a listen, I finally found someone to help me get over the tragic loss of Stevie Ray Vaughan!

  • The only guy who may have disliked this was Chuck Norris

  • @eduf93 if chuck norris didnt like this band , it wouldnt be a band no more ;p

  • @MotorheadDrew I guess he was afraid of being less kickass than this.

  • @MotorheadDrew No, if this band didn't like Chuck Norris, he wouldn't be Chuck Norris no more.

  • @eduf93

    Chuck Norris is a Woman!

  • this might sound a little strange, but the beginning chords kind of remind me of Space Oddity by Bowie. ;)

  • PHEW! F'G awesome jammin' & riffs......hope you guys "make" it (once again), as you deserve it. Sounds a lot like Sammy, some Plant and......a bit of Beatles (half way through for a short time).... but mostly Zepp.....Wow......different and refreshing!

  • Solid.

  • The bass is amazing. I am very impressed with this album. Kicks major ass. The bluesy vocals are cool as hell

  • @nathan2k ................... As I stated before, "Monotonous, boring, blase and unoriginal." I also think you can hardly call a Trapeze song a "classic" from 1971. Their taste in music sucks as there are far better songs to cover from that year.

  • @nedd1013 everyones a critic but noone is really interested

  • @nedd1013 :YOU ARE AN IDIOT!GO LISTEN TO YOUR CARPENTERS ALBUMS.

  • Glenns Voice reminds me off a bit off Gary Moore Crossed with Paul Stanley

  • Monotonous and boring. I definitely see a lot of potential, but it seems as though they're playing to some kind of mold or something. The vocals are the same. The guy can sing, but it's just a very blase and unoriginal melody. Sorry. I don't mean to offend or to even put down the band, I just call it as I see it.

  • @nedd1013 .............this is a classic from 1971.. do your homework and you would relize that this is dynomite!!

  • @nedd1013

    Are you Gay?

  • i was expecting a hell of a lot better

  • @LnBguitars well hero you do better you maggot.. nothing nice to say STFU!

  • @450hp202turbo lol tosser you must have got beaten on or touched up as a child because you are seriously messed up.

  • Great remake....this powerful song is from 1971, from the Trapeze Era of Glenn Hughes. Great stuff!

  • i sense shades of soundgarden in this song

  • just as every good fashion goes in and out of style so does style of music and i think we are starting to see a renaissance of Rock n Roll thank god...B.C.C., them crooked vultures, wolf mother, Alter Bridge is dirty, Big Elf. Hopefully the music industry releases more of this music instead of that Gaga, Bieber shit

  • @LegendOfOldTrafford you named no rock n roll bands there , them crooked vultures were absolute bullshite! wolfmothers new album was hideously dissapointing and alter bridge have split up

  • @LnBguitars them crooked vultures i actually liked so fuck you its a matter of opinion, wolf mother still have a good album and i will listen to that album till i die. Just because a band has split up doesnt mean they are any less good. The Beatles broke up, Ozzy left Black Sabbath, Bachman left Guess Who you are just narrow minded and have nothing further to argue with me about GTFO NOOB.

  • @LegendOfOldTrafford im not a fucking noob you tit , if you like them crooked vultures then your the fucking noob, the bands that inspired them like kyuss( not atall "rock and roll " which is dead anyway ) are so much better, them crooked vultures wont make another album cos around 3 people like them . wolfmother may have a good album but its not amazing, and comparing alter bridge to the beatles was fucking stupid , black sabbath were better without ozzy cos hes a wanker

  • @LnBguitarsStop arguing for the sake of arguing you douchebag. Ozzy and Tony made black Sabbath Dio was a great addition but i digress. I didnt compare them musically you fucking twat i compared their history and how both bands broke up but still have an amazing back catalogue of songs. Jesus why are you trolling me so hard. It is my own opinion and im sticking to it your not going to change my mind on anything i said. Another example Dream Theater still an amazing band even though they broke up

  • @LegendOfOldTrafford im trolling you because your opinion is shit , and dream theater... really ? dream theater ? they are Crap , a level of how crap they are is there drummer left .. to join avenged sevenfold!!! hahah i mean if hed have left to join a decent band it would be ok ... but avenged sevenfold.. it takes the piss. and ozzy and tony may have made black sabbath but it sounded so much better when dio was the singer

  • LnBguitars mate Dream Theater was the best Progressive Rock act of the last 20+ years other than Rush.Petrucci is one of the greatest guitarists in the history of Rock n Roll.If you say otherwise post a video of you nailing one of his solos like he does night in and night out.Mike Portnoy left because he is Mike Portnoy and he can do whatever the fuck he wants. He also left Avenged Sevenfold and good for him they are shite! Now please stop bothering me just enjoy B.C.C. and mind your own business

  • @LegendOfOldTrafford yeah but they sound shit. they can be technically good or whatever, but they sound shit. why would i want to nail one of petrucci's solos when there are other guitarists that i look up to more than him , and that sound a look better thaan him. his playing is so boring

  • @LnBguitars SHAKES HEAD ,, OH YOUR SO COOL KID.. HAHAHAH SHIT FOR BRAINS

  • @LnBguitars Alter Bridge did not split up man. They're currently touring the world and making it big

  • @msabaseball1293 oh my bad, i thought cos creed reunited, alter bridge split up

  • So maybe good rock is coming back!, check out the band Bigelf aswell maybe rock can come back

  • @WhoTheHellIsMargret even though they have been around for like 15 years XD they werent really known in america but went to scandanavia for awhile now Big Elf is has a cult following here because of their tour with Dream Theater.

  • Its a shame that the powers that be,DON'T think we want music like this..With the plasticness of American Idol, and the cheesy artists they cram down our throat, its a wonder any of us can remember how good music like this is...Long Live Rock!!!!

  • @trevLV Hell yeah. I prolly wouldn't have heard of them if it wasn't for the great Eddie Trunk radio shows - Q-104 NYC 11p-2a, Monday Sirius ch 19 6p-10p

  • @mr198221 the q-104 show is friday nights. actually it's q-104.3 to be exact!

  • 2:50 Joe at his best !

  • awsome! nice tribute to mel

  • I'm going to buy the album soon. Does Joe Bonamassa sing on it at all? I like Hughes and everything, but JB was the main thing that attracted me to the group. His guitar work is awesome as ever.

  • @TheThing88 ......a few of the songs. What are you waiting for? BUY THE CD:).....it is truly great

  • the whole album is sensational, not enough Sherinian though, I thought he would've had a Jon Lord type role.

  • awesome vocals! one of dio's favorite's R.I.P. RJD

    play this for ronnie!

  • Glenn is the best boi!!

  • Rock is Back !!!!!

  • @dontanner232 alright dude!!!! ;) rock on!!

  • really cool 70s vibe!

  • god bless mel galley...sorely missed

  • what a perfect singer Glenn Hughes is , and what a band ... awesome.

album of the year ? I think so....

  • Câliss de tabarnak! Glen and co. decided to refurbish their true roots with some kind of magic!! Holy crap, this is soooo good!

  • glenn hughes really loves that song!! even after all these years, I just wished they done a version of mistreated! although Jason Bonham aint no Ian Paice or a Cozy Powell who covered it with Rainbow.

  • @DidiHamann20 they did a live version of mistreated !

  • @aloys69

I know they did meant a recorded album version

  • THIS IS KICK ASS ALMOST AS GOOD AS THE ORIGANAL

  • @SuperBert1970 who does the original?

  • @mr198221 The original was by Glenn Hughes first band "Trapeze" off their second album Medusa. The album is a classic rock gem.

  • @mr198221 Trapeze.
