  • Ati: "Yo' whats up bitch!"

Nivida: "Oh hell no its on bitch!!"

  • can a 500 watt power supply handle this?

  • Just to let you know, this graphic card supports Medium graphics on Battlefield 3.

  • Cool my friend who is addicted to crack sold me his old system for $185 USD.

    Biostar H67MU3

    Intel core i5 2400 @ 3.4Ghz

    BFG Tech GTX 260 896MB DDR3

    G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB DDR3 1333

    WD 500GB Caviar Green

    Antec truepower 750W psu

    Antec 900 case

    Windows 7 ultimate

  • @systemshock13 should've gave him a higher offer if you were a good friend.

  • @henrydamaster Well his family is filthy rich, and he has like 3 more faster builds.

  • @systemshock13 lol if his family is filthy rich why would he need to sell his system to buy crack? Your story is starting to smell.

  • so i imagine this card would play wow(world of warcraft) on high no problem?

  • @agcowly It would fly through it on Ultra

  • Would this video card work with theCooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 700-Watt Power Supply

  • @kyleking831 yes

  • would this video card work with

Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 700-Watt Power Supply

  • will this card run Battlefield 3 when it comes out?

  • @jayluciano

sure but if you play 1920x1080(full hd) then you wont be able to play on max settings i guess cause even on bad company2 i get some little lags sometimes im running my system with an

    cpu: 4x 3,1ghz

    4gb ram

and i will upgrade to EVGA GeForce GTX 570 HD SuperClocked

  • @TheRealKingDahaka doing the same... expecting my card soon .. but i love this card :(

  • @poisonblack83

ok i changed my mind i change to GTX 570 Phantom cause the pahntom version has 3 cooling fans :D

  • @TheRealKingDahaka you dont need that much even when its oc'd it wont overheat!!! check the reviews

  • @poisonblack83

:O i just got 1 cooling fan for my computer (i dont mean the gpu and cpu just the computer inside)

and it's getting hot inside .... sometimes and my gtx260² has about 85° while playing a long game of bfbc2

  • @TheRealKingDahaka oh yea if thats the case... if you want get the asus version.. 2 very competent fans.. and you can oc the hell out of it

  • @poisonblack83

O_O just OC'd my gtx260² for now and fuck max settings @ gta IV and bfbc2 ... just need to try bf3 beta then O_____O

    Core clock: 650

    Shader Clock: 1400

    Memory Clock: 1228

    fan: 100

    works fine for me now

  • @jayluciano sure

  • I have one on my secondary pc and i love it it's fucking huge now i have my gtx 560 and it's like half of the lenght :(

  • if you cant sleep just watch TigerDirectBlog videos and then you be tired after 2 sec xD

  • do you think i should get this card?

    my specs:

    intel pentium 4 3.00ghz

    nvidia geforce 6600gt

    1,5gb ram

    Gigabyte motherboard

  • @secondworldFB just buy a whole new system... yours sucks.

  • @onlivegamer yeah but thats the best ive got and a whole new system costs about 2000$ here in sweden so i have to make the best out of the situation.

  • @secondworldFB your cpu would bottleneck this card, and i dont think ive ever seen a pentium 4 motherboard with pci express. Ignore the people who are mean they are jealous and have a lesser system than you lol. i would suggest anything in the 8000 series and or 9000 series that runs on agp or pci

  • @decimat777 thanks but i bought the sapphire radeon hd 6790 and its awesome and yes i have PCI express :D but thanks for the positive comment

  • this car is awesome, runs all my games on max with no lag (unless its nepolion total war maxed out with like 20 ships on the screen then it gets like 20 fps)

  • 360$ o.o , thats alot , for me lol

  • I had to cut out part of the hard drive tray in my case to use this card. I upgraded to the 460 and its half the length.

  • @nathanrs10 yeah, but the 260's shroud is sooooooooo sexy

  • Solution for low fps: Lower the fucking resolution just a bit, its not noticeable in gameplay and removes alot of strain from the card.

  • Is this better then the 5770 ?! Please answer fast.'

  • @evilmagic43 There's a site called Google, it's a great source for all kinds of information.

  • @evilmagic43 The 5770 is a little faster, and it supports DX11. Though, the 5000 series isn't that great at DX11. It would mostly be a side grade.

  • @Droogie128, 5770 sucks big time bro, it's a mere 128bit gpu, u check out the benchmarks, gtx260 readily outperforms 5770 by a huge margin.

  • @taimurdurranii

Nah, they have a standard 5770 beating out a standard GTX 260 by around 8% overall, it might be 128bit but it has extremely fast quad pumped GDDR5 memory.

Still, should get 6850 or something more like that now.

  • just get a 6790 they are pretty cheap

  • @evilmagic43, ofcourse it.

  • urgh i doubt i can fit that into my com

  • Buy Directx11 cards better.

  • wow this card is from 2008?!?! I still have this card and I'm still rocking every game I play.

  • I remember drooling over these while being stuck with my 9800gt. Got a gtx 460 + 8800gt with my old 9800gt in another rig :o

  • TigerTV were ones doing reviews that were Awesome shit.

Now they are doing just SHIT.

This is one of the awesome shit videos.

  • and nvidia was like.. "yo whats up" hahah

  • for 200 bucks it better suck my dick, PS will this fit in my computer? A standard dell?

  • @drublefizz0014 dude, its almost three years old....

  • @drublefizz0014 You can get it for $99. Thw superclocked for 220. It might fit in a standard dell, it fit in my old gateway DX case. might have to move an hdd tho

  • go canadian nerds go!!!

  • gtx460 is only 200$ now

  • @CrossfadedHobo sry 5970

  • @CrossfadedHobo fuk u the best graphic card in the markt is ati 5870 go google it so no ATI>Nvidia A hole SERCH BEFORE YOU SPEAK

  • @THEGAMINGRULER lmao you're raging at a comment made 11 months ago... how about you look before you speak.

  • this card kicks ass and only like $200-$300 so not bad

  • @thebourneman for 300$ you could get a GTX 580 now xD

  • @shehanster according to the CPU (computer power user) monthly magazine, the current price is around $500 for a gtx 580

  • @thebourneman what are you talking about? It;s like 140$ now. A great deal for what you get. Still a competitive card and future proof for a long while.

  • bought this for $90 today to use in a $500 budget build

  • @SoCalyankeefan cool story bro

  • @1337manne i know man

  • vga to dvi lol connector

it is dvi to vga connector lol

  • Albert.

    <3

  • will my cpu "bottleneck" with a gtx 260?

cpu: intel pentium dual core e6300

    4gb ddr2 ram

    500w psu

  • @DaBossk That would depend on your CPU speed. You can download EVGA precision or MSI Afterburner, these tools will tell you the GPU usage %, while you are playing a game, pause it, and look at the measures. If the GPU usage % it's 80% or more, there isn't bottleneck. Remember you can always overclock.

  • @CrissBlackHawk Oh I forgot something, if your going to buy a new videocard and you made a decision with the GTX 260, reconsider that, because in the $150-200 prince range, you can buy a GTX 460, both the 1 GB or the 768MB version or a Radeon HD 6850.

  • @CrissBlackHawk but i don have msi or evga? its a xfx card, also my computer doesn't overclock.... it says whatsoever ghz in BIOS AND!!!! it also says the whatsoever ghz in the POST but when i get into windows it doesnt do it... :(

  • @DaBossk Ok. First: it doesn't matter if it's a XFX card, both programs will work. If you can´t overclock your CPU from the BIOS, don´t even bother. (maybe you have a HP, Dell, Compaq or that kind of crap) But You CAN overclock the videocard with these programs, just don't go too far with the clock speeds or you will fry your card. Let me know any questions.

  • @CrissBlackHawk okay cool i'll try the programs :P but yeah i chose all my computer parts....

    CPU: E6300 Wolfdale 2.8GHz

    mobo: GIGABYTE GA-G31M-ES2L

everyone of reviews for the items said they overclock like crazy.... maybe im doing something wrong :|

  • not only calling 24/7 but also technical support over email 24/7. yesterday at 2 am (sunday) i sent a question to technical support and in 20 mins i received a reply!

  • holy shit i need a new computer case

  • to be honest...you can overclock the GTX260 (216) version like a animal..

    I"ve overclocked 790/1650/1240 @ GTX280/285 lol

so dont get a GTX280 and get a GTX260 and overclocked it !

  • @Melekk91 and then overheat it! GTX260 doesn't need to be overclocked since it's great on it's own already. I own it and works on ultra with everything.

  • hey which is better gts 250 1gb or gtx 260 ?

  • @TheTurbo5050 gtx260

  • @TheTurbo5050 gtx 260 , no questions asked, seriously man ;)

  • @TheTurbo5050 GTX 260 OFC!

  • what would happen to the card if you have a PSU that doesnt have any extra pin connectors for the card, what would happen to the card?

  • well, lolz this is probably gives u like 10 more fps

  • im not confused.. whats so confusing??

  • and 36 amps on the 12 V rail,does it mean on both the 12 V rail combined or per 12 V rail 36 amps in a multiple 12 V PSU.

  • wat happened to tigerdirectblog?

there are no recent reviews of graphics cards.

  • @dipu94321 yeah true.infact,i subbed for only this reason but no fucking GPU reviews! only shit things.the only useful one were the headset which is officially the best headset in the world, and a casze which is big enough tp put in 6 hard drives and 3 GPUs i think.but that was it.nothing interesting then......

  • @dipu94321 Because this presenter sucks.

  • @maganashi ay albert is tight

  • does the gtx 26 0core 216 really need 36 amps, I found a great deal online for 30$ 650w PSU ATX , but with 35amps on the +12v rail, please reply

  • @callofdutyguy9 35amps on the 12v rail yeah. it will run, but not much of a headroom for extra Harddrives, High RPM fans...etc. but yeah. you cant OC it tho.

  • @callofdutyguy9 for $30 that psu will probably suck, always go for the better brands like corsair, antec, ultra, because those psus let you run a little bit higher than what it's rated at and they always have 80%+ efficiency, those cheap psus are usually made in china and can barely keep up with the load they're rated for.

  • @Ri1seAgainst sorry I meant a 5670.

  • @Ri1seAgainst The gtx 260 is outdated now and has been replaced by the new gtx460, they cost pretty much the same but the gtx460 is far greater and will beat a 5630 into the ground, also it can be overclocked to the equilvelent of the new gtx475.

    Hope this helps.

  • @jordanash84 there is no GTX475...but a GTX470

  • @VolumeLowHigh Oh right yeah, my bad.

  • @VolumeLowHigh The 475 is due out soon. It's a fully unlocked (384sp) GF104 chip. The 495 will run dual GF104's.

  • ok what should I pick

    PC specs

    Windows 7 64bit

    6gb RAM

    i7 920

    875 power watt supply

    1TB SATA ||

now for the two card choices

    Single 1.8GB GDDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260

OR Dual 1GB GDDR5 ATI Radeon HD 5670 CrossfireX Enabled

  • @Ri1seAgainst dual 5670....

  • is a PNY gtx 260 core 216 same as evga

  • this guy is lame, what happened to logan

  • Comment removed

  • Can I get this card?I have a Compaq Presario (windows XP), Pentium Processor E5400 @ 2.70 GHz, FSB: 800 MHz, Cache: 2MB, RAM: 2GB and I currently have a Geforce 8500gt. Will this do? (I think my psu is around 500-700 watts, i forgot)

  • @KRandMJ yeah you can

  • @wolfpackflt670 Will I notice any improvements?

  • @KRandMJ more than likely, you will

  • I'm getting this for Folding @ home

  • How Long is this card, i

    m going to buy one of these! >:-}

  • @Zraupp10

    10.5"

  • Gigabyte gtx260 soc is better than this

  • i have 2 and use a 1k watt O.o

  • What graphics card is better nVidia GTX260 or ATI Radeon HD 3850 saphhire

  • @MIta592

    GTX 260.

But get one of the new cards, like a HD5850 or a GTX 470

  • @Nitro090995 thanks but I'm planning to get something up to 200 euros after I took another 2GB of ram I will take the GTX 260 is likely

  • @MIta592 ofcourse it's the gtx 260 ;P....ati 3000 series is supost to compete with nvidia 9000 series ;P

  • @MIta592 Nvidia they got way better drivers and PhysX and i think that Nvidia make better and more high quality cards than ATI does.

  • i know nothing about computers or graphic cards(i just want to play the game)but can any one tell me what gt means, becuase people always say i have a 8400 gt a 9600gt and a 9800 gt, and i am like wtf does that mean.

    thanks

  • @komplex71 the GT bit means nothing, its simply a name, probably added because GT is synonomus with performance, such as the toyota celica GT which is faster than the normal toyota celica

  • that guy on the tv looks like logan

  • is 9800gx2 or 9800gx2 better 9800gtx?

  • @MrErjavec I think the 9800gx2 has 2 cores.

  • @groberti

    yea

    but gtx260 have new core

    i gonna buy 9800gx2

  • @MrErjavec is 9800gx2 still available ?

  • @plackersen

    in slovenia

    for 430€

but i gonna buy used for 120€

  • WOW TigerDirect Resumed all the videos hooray ^_^ whheeeeee!!!!! >_<

  • Can someone answer this question?

I bought a GTX 260, and then my PSU fried my video card, luckily EVGA replaced that, but I sent my SPDIF wire in with the card (oops) and they didn't send one back, and I can't test this out because I need to get a motherboard, and whatnot now, fried those too.

using a crappy PC for now, but my question is, Will I need that for audio, I just hooked it up before, and didn't test it without it, so I don't know.

I imagine I would need it for HD audio from GPU?

  • I just hope it's not a Ground wire or something, if I'm confusing it as a SPDIF wire, and end up frying my GPU or something by not picking up another one before I put together my system.

  • Albert does such a great job with these videos!

  • @xMordethx Albert is good But Logan was WAY better !!

  • Nvidia>ATI

  • @CrossfadedHobo This is a little late on messaging lol. But they are about even. the HD5970 is just a little better then the Gtx 480 But the HD 5970 its also $650, where the Gtx 480 is $500

  • @CrossfadedHobo lol u been hiding recently? ATI has been handing Nvidia their ass for the past year. Nvidia has got lazy over the last year or so, fingers crossed they get their finger out with the 500 series if/when they release it.

  • @tenajnin yeah i been hiding??? who are you???

  • @tenajnin Thank you, took the words right out of my mouth.... 5970>anything Nvidia.... and I have 2 5970's in CFX.........

  • @CrossfadedHobo fanboy moron like you will drive the Nvidia GPU price up

  • @CrossfadedHobo not anymore ;)

  • iim an evga fan and my 8800 gts died

m not a Gigabite fan but

the GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 260 896MB Super Clock Beats all those 260 by any means...

  • @X2N18 i have the XFX Ge Force GTX 260 Black edition SLI it's really amazing

  • My mobo's Gigabyte G31M-ES2L. Would it support this card?

  • is the 260 better than the 8800gts please help im a noob I have the 8800gts 640mb and im thinking of upgrading to the 260 is it better ?

  • yes, the 260 Core 216 has 898 MB

  • hell yeah..of course

  • hey guys, how good will the pc im building be? Case: Antec three hundred ATX Processor: Intel Core I5 750 Motherboard: EVGA P55 LE Memory: OCZ 4gb DDR3-1600 Gold Power supply: Coolmax 600 watt ATX Heatsink: Thermaltake Silent 1156 CPU cooler Graphics: GeForce GTX 260 Hard Drive: Caviar Black 1TB Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium OEM primarily i was gonna get a Geforce 9800 gt, windows 7 professional OEM, and i5 650 Processor, but after LOTS of reasearch, i changed them...
  • great PC for gaming, but must be expensive

  • @R0BbAW3S0M3 it was first at about $930, but after doing my research and changing a few things, it went up to about $1000...the only away i can afford it is by buying some parts after every paycheck i get :( so 5 more weeks to go till i have everything...sigh

  • @R0BbAW3S0M3 its like 260$ at newegg

  • @Alxe73191 its good, but i would have gone for the i7 960

  • @Squeeler1lol trust me, if i could, i would get a better proccesor, but im on a budget so i cant get the better stuff.

  • get the i7 975 instead

and as for the gou go for the 295 or 5970

Ramp up the ram to 8 or 12gb

  • @sashamaz i7 975??? thats like $900, thats %90 of the cost of my new computer, and the gtx 295?? 8gb of ram?! haha, you're asking me to get the best stuff out there, i know what they are, i would get them, i want them, but im not rich lol, thanks for the advice though :P

  • Will My Chieftech smart series 550W (80 Plus) run this, with a little bit left for upgrades?

  • I have the nVIDIA Geforce gtx 260m graphics card. (the "m" means it's installed in a notebook.) I have it for my:

    a.)Alienware M15x

    b.)Asus G51Vx

    or

    c.)Dell XPS.

Guess by sending me an E-mail response.

  • i`m sure that nvidia will come up soon with dx11 aswell, and coz they are smarter it will be put in nvidia drivers ... now ati cant provide dx11 for 4800 series only if u buy 5000 series ... so its just a matter of time till all nvidia cards will be able to use dx11 so it wont be need to buy the latest cards. think about this.

  • yeah and i hope they release them soon, i mean since ati released there 5 series, nvidia is going to brutally come back with new cards and cheap.... (i hope) lol

  • lol dude if you think Nvidias new cards will cheap you're kidding yourself! They will for sure be amazing cards from what i hear & most likely much better than the 5000 series but they will be mucho dollars

  • Hell no :P

Nvidia has never had a cheap new line of cards... ATI has (since a few years back atleast) always had more bang for the buck.

Sure, the new 400 series (which is what nvidia named the new cards, their naming schemes SUCKS) might be good, but no way in hell will it be cheap.

  • Dude..

That's like saying "nvidia will be enabling dx10 on dx9 cards". And that is not the case, cause it's not even possible!

THe same goes for DX11 on DX10 cards, you can't run for example tessellation on dx10 cards (some ATI dx10.1 cards have tessellators, but it's still not able to use all the new features of DX11).

In conclusion, if anything the old sub DX11 ATI cards are closer to DX than anything nvidia has.

Not that it matters anyways, CAUSE YOU CAN'T RUN DX11 ON DX10 HARDWARE!

  • right

  • Are the EVGA cards a good deal to buy? Deciding between this card or the XFX HD 5770

  • Is this like the Notebook version. The Geforce GTX 260m. ANd how do you find out the core. I only found the CUDA cores at 112.

  • is this card about the same as xfx gtx 260??

  • is this better than the 5770?

  • yup

  • @Lazertag44 yes i have a hd 5770 and a gtx 260

  • will this card fit on my micro ATX I have about 26centimeters long of room for it?

  • probably not man...its actually around that long, that will be a tight fit if it does.

  • 8:12

    24 Hour Costumer Support.

    Great spelling my friend.

  • cost-u-more support.

  • I have a BFG 450 Watt PSU, think I could run this card or would I have to upgrade my PSU?
