  • he pulled it

  • He could'nt handle that pole

  • hahaha XD oh wait it didnt count, you knocked off the beam,

  • this is why you don't pull down on the pole at take off

  • lucky mofo

  • i get 11 ft on a 3 step and im a freshman

  • @trumbly3 way to brag

  • he can be lucky he fell on soft :D

  • that is why you check the pole before you jump

  • wanker shouldnt have done all the poser stuff at the start. thats what cause it, haha

  • i hope that never happens to me!

that would scare the shit outta me.

  • i have seen two poles break i've never broken one though but its a rare but awesome sight

  • lol, i have broken the our old practice poles like 2 times

  • that is why you do not use a pole that is a lighter weight than you!

  • what i mean isthat u should weigh no more than the weight of the number on the pole at the top for those of you who dont vault or are new to vaulting

  • you should be able to bend the pole at your body weight just by running and swinging. Any coach who lets their vaulters use a lighter pole is retarded and is a liability. Anyways, the official should have caught that.

  • Though kids starting out don't usually go with a pole their weight due to the fact they don't know how to vault. When i started out i was 150 and vaulted 140 with no problems. Now I'm 160 vaulting on a 170.

but yeah, generally vaulting on a pole lighter is bad. Some will learn that the hard way

  • i guess my coach has a different philosophy. He says that we should be able to jump 10' 6" without bending the pole and just taking a 4 stepper. That is what i learned by doing and now im 168 using a 13 70. I get to bend the pole now

  • i think he was Bending more than rowing....im new at pole vault and i know that o.O

  • holy sweet jesus that looks painful...im not so sure if i wanna keep pole vaulting now...

  • damn that's fucked up..

  • HAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHHA

  • o___o

    ( '.' ) ~

  • o__o

    ('.') ~

  • dam he must have been pissed lol..

  • wow ive always wanted to see that!

  • bad pole

  • lol didnt see that coming

  • Curent pole vault WR (in men) its at Serhi Bubka and hes record is 614 cm. And in Women ist Yelena Isinbayeva and her record is 505 cm.

  • god what a fat ass... jk lol.

  • oh god that sucks!!

  • HAHHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHH LMFAO

  • the pole was def too small for him... and he was too far back!!lol it was funny though

  • The reason why it broke is because he was too far back on the pole, it has nothing to do with that person being fat.

  • video shows stick breaking

  • that is wat u git for being fat

  • Lol like a Spaggetti xD (Can't spell that SPegetti word lol xD)

  • no pole vault poles are wood.. if he's using a ucs pole it's mainly fiberglass and different types of fiber glass. some poles use carbon fiber. poles break, shit happens. it sounds liek a gunshot too and fiberglass shoots everywhere. pretty cool actually

  • he nearly cleared the high jump record.

  • wtf no he didnt idiot. Thats like 1m.. the world record is like 7

  • it was sarcasm hahah

  • dude u had me totally confused u need to put the units...1m...ok yea and 7 whats? DEFINITELY not metres, its feet.

  • 7 meters is the world record.

    7 feet rofl no

  • the high jump record is 7ft 11 1/2in.(2.43m) somewher around there... ^_^ not metres. 7 metres is impossible.

  • he's doing pole vault tho.......

  • yeh i know but this is all a reply to someone who said "he nearly cleared the high jump record."

  • 6.15 meters (20'2")

  • do you people seriously think pole vault poles are made of wood? wow.

  • DAM

  • oh yeah and it was a 130 lb pole and I'm 120

  • what the heck are you talking about? I broke a UCS pole (definitely not wood)

  • wow wood dumbasses

  • no they're not fiberglass or a type of pvc, from what i can tell

  • HAHAHAHHAHAHA that was so funny!

  • fattty!

  • the poles now, fiber glass poles, dont break (unless theres like 10,000 lbs of pressure) so he was probly using a wooden pole

  • plastic, not wooden?

  • idk they used to use real flexible wood, maybe its plastic there i really have no idea :)

  • um ive seen so many fiberglass poles break its not even funny

  • Okay, Pole Vaulting is NOT that dangerous of a sport at ALL... as long as you follow the regulations. That kid was using a shitty pole that was probably too light for him... You're supposed to use a pole that can support your weight, and this one OBVIOUSLY did NOT.

Can't feel too sorry for him.

  • someone had probably stepped on it with their spikes. That happened to me the first time i tried going on a 16' pole, it shattered into millions because it had a tiny hole in it.

  • people who laugh at this are ignorant...pole vaulting is dangerous, things like this aren't funny.

  • you freakin dumass he did 14 stripes so maybe before you place a comment you look a little bit better

  • might want to watch again

  • 14 stripes? what does that mean?

  • he must've been very very wide

  • heavy bitch

  • lol

  • fucking shit tequnique dumb ass try using a shorter pole and lowering it earlier

and wats up with the 13 strides (ment 2 do 12 or 14 idiot

  • rofl!

  • lol. :P
