  • this movie was good until it got to the end.it had a good point about teens today with comedy but it got cheesy and unrealistic

  • That last clip you showed, best part of the movie

  • I actually didn't mind the last 15 minutes. Sure, it's cheesy, but at least it's intentionally cheesy. The whole point was to parody john hughes movies.

  • Hmmm I don't understand why you gave this a 7 not an 8.

  • Well I wasn't going to see this movie because I thought the trailers just didn't look that good. I do appreciate Emma Stone's work though, so I was going back and forth about it. You're review definitely helped to convince me to see it now, thanks.

  • don't even think that

  • i think there is a hidden message in this.

  • Hey great. Love your reviews and your taste in movies!

Anyway, the girl in Easy A, I thought I was looking at Caroline Dhavernas from Wonderfalls throughout the entire movie! Anyone else had this too?

  • asa, exact asta vroiam sa zic la un mom dat. gagica blonduta creata, her friend, de ea imi aminteste when i see you. which is a compliment, coz i love that chick and her band. <3

    loved this movie :D

  • I'm glad to see Criss reviewing something she liked. Even though this is basically a chic flick I'm even motivated to watch it - even before it ends up in the 99c video bin. :)))

  • The girl that plays Rhiannon(the bestfriend) looks a lot like you. Watched the movie last night it was pretty funny. Implausible but enjoyable.

  • WTF! Amanda Bynes is still alive?! Or more surprisingly, relevant?

  • Oh, actually the Romanian Film Festival is an NYC thing showcasing Romanian cinema.

  • Did you watch any of the films at the Romanian Film Festival? Those films are playing in NYC right now.

  • @edgarae1 And you know, there is a buzz around Romanian cinema. Have you seen "Police, Adjective"?

  • Yeah, the whole movie dreamworld that portrays absolutely beautiful and intelligent women as poor little common unlucky in love girls that just can't seem to get noticed and only go after the average guy over the popular ones is about as believable as a Sky Daddy that answers prayers.

The real world is just the opposite. Most good looking women go directly after the richest, prettiest, biggest assholes they can find leaving the good guys in the dust, then they wonder why there are no good men.

  • ??? what were you like in high school??? oh wait i forgot you went to bible school or something hmmm, another ?? childhood photos! :D post some, how did you look as a kid or teenager?

  • i like the way religion was potryed, everybody thinks the jesus freaks are nuts but noone is saying nothing about it. like the teacher said that he doent know why but he dosent like that girl so much etc

  • Agree 100%!

  • Easy A: girl doesn't lose virginity; is punished for being a slut

Virginity Hit: guy doesn't lose virginity; friends get together to help him get laid

I have a feeling if I saw this movie, every five minutes would be full of "really, hollywood, really?"

  • I also appreciated they way it handled the evangelical Christians in the film, lampooning the hypocrisy that is so common in suburban WASP culture.

  • such a hilarious movie, but yes, i could definitely taste the cheese at the end...

  • Last fifty or last fifteen minutes?

  • I`ll watch it

  • thanks for the review

  • Wow, you mean the last 15 minutes are even lamer than the rest of this movie? :/ Maybe you should review Skyline next; it doesn't have much of a story either, but at least it's got plenty of eye candy...

  • oh dear god that song is stuck in my head now!

  • I just saw it, and I loved it. :D

  • They're making good comedies again? THIS I GOTTA SEE!

  • If "Easy A" is compared only with other teen comedies, I'd be inclined to give it at least 9 of 10. This film has the wittiest banter since the early seasons of the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" TV series.

  • It's good to see Amanda Bynes in a supporting role where she is actually allowed to use her comic talents. She's usually cast as boring ingénues who might be "charmingly clumsy" or something, but she's capable of being really funny.

  • please, buy an hd cam. love your videos. :)

  • "Whaat!? Who told you?" lol

  • Thanks!!! I'm gonna check it out =)

A movie that you have to say, probably my favourite comedy of aaaaall time, is Shaun of the Dead; I haven't met anyone who isn't from the UK who knows it but maybe you'll be the first ^^

Anyway thanks for the movie review, I love them, keep 'em coming =)

  • If you think this movie is funny I question your humor.

  • I really liked this movie, but my personal opinion was that Olive and her family carried it -- the rest of the acting could have been so much better!

I thoroughly enjoyed the musical scene and the 80s ending, but then again I do love me some 80s :)

  • I know you said it was funny buuuuuuuut I just can't believe you....

  • i saw it today, pretty good.

  • my favorite parts of the movie are the interactions with the parents.

  • I felt that you gave away a bit to much aswell, even though it was all in the trailer, I feel that way about a few of your reviews

I should know by know to just look at the rating you give, I tend not to watch trailers of movies I think I want to see so not to spoil them, I look at the poster and read a little on it, then make a decision

  • This movie put me to sleep, the main character was an old hag compared to high school students. Her jokes all fell flat, acting and riding off puns and sarcasm the entire time. I'm a fan of both humors if they're actually funny, which they weren't. It was an embarrassment, like a failed comedian on stage.

The liberal obsessed parents were the only worth while thing to watch. Even then, they were only funny half the time.

  • Sounds like money can't buy me love

  • @ShellySummers

Money can't buy hate, sadness, or any feeling or concept, either.

  • @mistacramer actually it can though ^_^ chocolate simulates love chemically.

  • @ShellySummers yeh and banana's stimulate happiness chemically :D

  • Cris with all respect, this is more of a movie spoiler rather than a review. You have detailed the entire movie and I'd rather not see it after knowing the details you have given.

  • @Leman007LH I've seen it and trust me - she only gave a brief outline on what the movie is about. There is a LOT of content that she didn't even mention. I recommend you still watch the movie if you haven't already :)

  • @blue4arekkusu Thanks, I'll consider that. However, I still feel the review was too detailed. Look at me, trolling about Cris's video. Damn :-/

  • @Leman007LH

I didn't say anything that wasn't in the trailers or clips that were already promoted

  • @CrissReviews After the seeing the trailer again (first time was a while back in the cinema) I have to say you're right. Ironically though, the comment left by someone saying "the trailer is funny but i think they show to much" got five thumbs up. I think it's fair to say that maybe the storyline itself is a little shallow and it's hard not to give away too much of the main details of the movie ~ be it in a review or trailer. Anyways, looking forward to the next review Cris :)

  • @Leman007LH

"I think it's fair to say that maybe the storyline itself is a little shallow "

Yeah I agree ...see my rating for storyline :)

  • @Leman007LH She also said nothing about the whole reason behind the red letter "A" on her top in the last scene. I haven't seen the movie, but I assume from the trailers, and the title of the movie itself, that would be a fairly significant part of the story.

  • yeah i loved that movie... soundtrack was amazingly good too.

  • This film was not on my list to see, but based on your review, it is now. Thanks for the review Criss!

  • lmfao at the scene at the end...I don't really like new comedies, because they're usually dumb or remade ideas, but I might actually see that one. I'm confused as to how your channels aren't partnered yet. tsk tsk

I'm surprised Amanda Bynes is still acting. Good review :)

  • At 1:54, I thought Criss was in the movie. Seriously, that chick looks just like you, Criss.

  • @gamutman That's EXACTLY the same thing I thought when I watched the movie last night!!!

  • Emma Stone is "Hollywood Ugly". Seems like a funny movie.

  • The adopted part make me laugh.

Nice to see you're still making reviews. It's been a while.

  • You are hot
