  • I may be 16 but I know music and this is it

  • YOU KNOW SOMETHING AND I'LL BE FLAT OUT HONEST !! I DIDN'T PICK UP

ON THE LYRICS UNTIL I STARTED HAVING FLASHBACKS OF MY CHILDHOOD

AND MY TEENS AND LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING. EVERY BIT OF THIS

SONG REMINDS ME OF MYSELF GROWING UP. I CAN RELATE BIG TIME !!

  • Beautiful music by some beautiful human beings... Did y'all catch their 'UNSUNG' special on TV One? God Bless The Spinners!!! Magnificent.

  • them n tom bell was like a marriage made in heaven

  • It must have been terrifying living in the ghetto if all the men dressed like this....

  • @lucilledelorme you, my friend, have just earned the idiotic comment of the year award. Pat yourself on the back.

  • @ewiz06 I love your comment back at that crab. don't worry about him lol only the white men would say something like that dumb comment lucilledelorme made. Too bad they don't have men that look like they did back in the day anymore....SEXY and sweet I love the fro : ) my dad has picture of himself from the 70s like this and all and i am proud to say. OX

  • Those were beautiful times back then. Much better then they are in today's troubled world now. The music then had meaning, along with beautiful memories you can relate too in your past. Today, the world is gray, not rosey like it use to be in so many ways. Going back in time, with the beautiful songs left in our hearts and minds, will never cease with me.

  • I can relate to this song, when I run away from home at 17.......

  • Damn I wish I was alive back then. Those seemed like some beautiful times.

  • One of my favorite Spinners cuts too...and Henry Fambrough should be called the 3rd lead singer. He is fantastic on this song and "I Don't Want to Lose You" among others...So touching and poignant!!

  • Man, I used to bully dem black liberals in school for not being republican

  • real music Philippe Wynn one of my favorite singers

  • That's the problem with "mainstream" modern R&B. The subject matter is so redundant. Always the same themes. With great groups like these,Stevie Wonder,Marvin Gay,Earth Wind & Fire,The Temptations,Mandrill,Willie Hutch, etc.,they had a lot of songs about social awareness and other themes. It wasn't always just about "love songs", "dancing" or "somebody cheating on somebody" all the time.

  • Love this song, got real sadness to it though, don't anyone think.

  • my opinion best song by them it was hard 4 me 2 choose since they got so many great songs

  • So many of us can relate to this song!

  • Classic Spinners...RIP Philippe, Billy, and Pervis.
