The Google Adsense program is trick bagging everyone into thinking they are going to get paid for their work so they go out of their way to make better videos for them only to pull the carpet from under their feet and get $0.00, if they close there adsense account today they might get $10.00 if they’re lucky otherwise nothing, then out the back door they go!
The more people they ban for no reason, they more money they get. If you simply do a keyword search on that, you will find too many people were banned by Adsense for no reason. That include poor little me who showed them proof in an appeal... and they rejected it at 6am U.S. eastern time... said their "experts" determined that my account shouldn't be reinstated. What "experts"? From India or somewhere close?
You actually missed the point of "Google Adsense is scam".They aren't saying the ads are scam, it's the Adsense itself is a scam.They ban so many people just as they were supposedly to get a payment.And they claim they would refund advertise all the money.And who is there to check that part? Who is even there to check the part they regularly take money off your earning and "refund" to advertisers? They ban people for no reason! I got like 8~16 clicks per day,they banned me for "invalid clicks"
Please please please educate yourself on what ad-sense really is! What's your website address? We will show you what it really is, since you want defend a scam when It truly is one.

Don't defend google just because they are playing nice with you. They disabled my account yesterday and they had no valid reason to do it. The only invalid activity that I see going on, is by google. They will not even tell me specifically what they are talking about. Their attitude is that they are such a big operation that they can do whatever they want and nobody can stand up to them. They are bullies.

Listen its invalid clicks then banned account. I call that a scam. There are people out there who would not know how to buy views or do any of that jazz but still get banned. Normally when they get to earning a reasonable amount of money it is taken away. It just goes to show how low google is going now. I had an adsense account for over a year, and I had $50 dollars in my account that I was suppose to be paid. The only person that I even know that clicked any of my ads was one of my friends and they clicked like two ads. As the end of the month when they are suppose to pay has come around they notify me (after the fact so I had no warning) that my account has been disabled and that all the money I had earned had been refunded and they weren't going to pay me anything. They cheated me out!
I was reading some of the terms and I was a little confused. What would be considered "invalid activity"? I got the idea that it had something to do with getting too many clicks at a time? I also fell under the impression that if I didn't get enough clicks they would delete my adsense account. That makes sense I guess but if I'm not getting enough clicks and they do delete it can I in turn try again in a future when I build more traffic for a site? That was not clear to me. Please help!
Adsense is real. I have been using it for a while and make more money on adsense than any other ad service out there. Like Lisa said its all about relavant traffic.
you're defending Adsense just because you're a ramdom lucky one that they keep into their little club of chosen ones while they use most of the other people who get their accounts disabled just before they have to pay them for the ads, without any real explanation or details on why they did that, just a cold email informing that you are disabled and you won't get the money you worked for because they say they will return it to their advertisers, and who knows if they will really do that!
@lonelyboy323 Google scrutinizes every click for fraud. If they suspect anything suspicious they will disable your account. Sometimes they get it wrong. Google doesn't gain anything by disabling you. They actually WANT us to make money because when we do, they make more. But if they see something suspicious with your clicks they have to disable because they are protecting their advertisers -- the people buying those ads. It's not a scam tho. I've been getting paid for 8 years.

They cancelled me for no reason at all. Did it a day before I would receive the $30 I made, that of which would've helped me pay apartment bills. I'm a college kid and need all the help I can get. They offered this AdSense, and it was a godsend, then completely smashed any hope (and help) by doing what they did. Was really looking forward to all of it. =(
@bigredjew They pratically did the exact same thing to me as well, and they won't even tell me the exact reason they cancelled it, they left a big blank and are refusing to have anything to do with me. I've been researching some and working to possible sue for invalid terms. My $50 dollars were already made and some already finalized and now (after the fact) there notifying me that all my money has been refunded without any warning or type of consent and now I can't do nothin about it.

I think if they are going to put ads on my video that people all over the world are going there to see and I am allowing them to do so, how can they use my video to make money for theirselves' and then when it comes to sending me mine all the sudden they dissable my accnt so I can't see it, and keep running ads on my video??? I am getting over 2000 hits a day on my music video. If they thought something was up why couldn't they contact me or check into it? instead they just shut me down and acted like I was doing something wrong. And after they shut my accnt down they continued to fly ads on my video. Now whos really making the money???
I did everything they said to do, they put the 99. into my account to make sure all that was right. Then after some time went by and it was time for them to deposit into my account they sent me a email telling me that my account had been shut down because they felt like I was getting to many clicks on ads. I know for a fact that none of my family or friends was clicking, all the clicks was ligit. Then they told me the money that had been generated by the hits would all go back to the advertiser.

Never quit your job or business for adsense, even if you are making good money. I make good money hosting other various websites on my servers and reselling and trading on the side. But still work for various companies as a programmer, the reason, because I enjoy what I do.
The way to succeed, is to look at it is as a way to get known and advertise yourself in your videos or website, people will notice and etheir job offers or hits to your sites. Don't ever depend on adsense as a income.
@RetroPCDOS Couldn't agree more! Even though I earn enough to live on with AdSense I have several other ways I monetize my website and earn money and I would survive without AdSense. You definitely need to build your own brand and diversify your income.

Agreed!! You need to join forums and setup a good website. Most people that make money off adsenses is traffic off of different forums and their own website, not really youtube videos, people won't know you or watch your videos unless you are on different forums and could take a couple of years to build on that and get the traffic to look at other options.
Most the of the youtube celebrities started when Youtube started or shortly after, it was easier and you earn more money back then.
@Seqtopus can only state what I am currently going through and others as well.you can earn money but they wont send you your payments. and there is no way to get assistance. they send you to FAQ of a bunch of people asking the same questions and cant help you. dont do it.

I'm sorry to say, AdSense is a scam. I signed up about 2 months ago. The real adsense, and it looked like a good thing and you might be able to make a bit of money so I started promoting the ads on my videos like crazy. After I saw the earnings going up and then suddenly they closed my account because I was promoting it and they pocketed my earnings and said i would not get them. Still they put their ads on my videos. Sounds like a scam to me. I have informed friends and family, don't click ads.

@roshinaiejohnson I had about twelve youtube videos scattered through the website except for the page devoted to Street Fighter videos which amounted to about 80. This was a fanfiction website about Ranma 1/2, Street Fighter, Marvel, and DC comics.
It is scam they terminate my account without any reason i follow the rules and TOS but i dont know they shutdown my account when my traffic increase. your totally scam also.
All I can say our webiste averages around 25000 hits per day and it would take 2 months to make 100.00 Google paid us one time then never paid us again. 3 months went by and our account was showing we had $180.00,When we inquired why we were not getting paid, Google said they were all false hits and our balance was $7.25. Judge for yourself if it is a scam or not.
I really am not sure what is going on. I've earned $200 using adsense. A week after cashing the check I was banned for no apparent reason. Are they scammers? Don't know. But it seems like they're controlling the amount they're willing to pay by randomly banning chaps like myself.

So many complain about Google AdSense and I don't see why. They target and update the ads for you... it's a cinch. Like anything that's easy, it's not going to pay the most. I'd probably make more money if I placed individual ads on my sites, but I don't have time to sit around all day placing ads on hundreds of pages. I'd much rather have my free time and let google figure it out.

You got it, that is only one way they scam. I was over $400 towards the end of one month, and on the 30th, i was at $136.18.
They don't pay You too much because in return , they would have to charge their paying clients higher advertising fees. In order to keep their clients , and make a HUGE profit, like any other scam, somebody has to lose, or in this case, work for almost FREE.
And YES , like any scam , in order to get people hooked, they pay out every now and then so they look legitimate.
Your CTR percentage gets too high or Your eCPM stayes over a certain number , You will be shut down. If your eCPM is too high, the rates for advertisers will be too high, in order for Google to keep its Advertising Customers , adsense will make sure your eCPM is LOW, and that will keep Googles advertising rates, LOW. for more info email me.

Google Adsense does not pay people. Too much traffic is a bad thing, it renders the account inactive. If a hundred people look and one person clicks thru, then google adsense is happy. If half of those people click thru, then one's account is inactive. that is the scam part.

I got very exiceted and began putting almost the same tags on my content to standarise and my traffic doubled, I also increased my content. December over $200, January $350 This month I will make about $420. Am I happy with adsense? Of course! I will continue creating more content. First off, the "ad-sense is a Scam" derives from people that have earned money from ad-sense, though have not received those earnings. They are receiving emails from legitimate Google "teams" that make claims that there were "invalid-clicks" on the webmasters site. Though in fact there were not any "invalid-clicks". Not to mention, that any emails sent to Google, do not contain any more answers than to the question "1+1=2" "It just does, we don't know why, or we can't tell you, it just does."
@DanielW4294 how do you know this to be a fact when there are so many people with adsense ads on there website or videos...if this was the case...if i had a site and had adsense on it and i was getting all these clicks and traffic and then no check i would take the ads off.
@bornblond9gb hundreds of websites are made everyday, most of them free, and for the purpose of Google ad-sense. Once they fail to get earnings, they dump the site, and move on to a different "get rich quick" scheme.
I know this to be true, because I see it happen everyday. I have 15 or so free websites linked to my ad-sense account. in a few months, ill tell you how it turned out.

If you go to google and type in "create a website" without quotes you will find my website ranked #4. I get found for thousands of different keywords per month in Google. Google pays us when people click the ads that we advertise on our site. The model is simple. I built my website and I earn money through AdSense. I never signed up with any service nor do I recommend you do.

I agree with you google adsense is completely legit...the problem i had when i had my site online was i couldn't seem to get the traffic to the site to possibly click on the ads so i could get paid.I want to get traffic to my site by simply useing the search engines...my site was on first page of yahoo which should be good had i used a name people would actually type in.
Google Adsense is a scam. It worked for not even a month until Google decides that they don't need you anymore. I did nothing wrong on mine and they suspended it. Google and the people who run it, have nothing better to do with their lives other than laugh at the people who actually work for money and shut their accounts down. I can't wait until the computers all take a shit and our technology is sent back through time, I will laugh so hard and pray for the people at Google to die.

You most likely did something wrong that raised flags like clicking your own ads, having a blackhat site, more than 1 ad revenue service, or something else.

Google Adsense is a scam no one pays....when you win some money on ads that take account withdraw violated program policies...then the program will be disabled. Her can not tell them why you were turned off because they do not want to pay you. I do not recommend you be disabled when they see people from google to start making money

The most I made was around $1700/month and usually it is around $900-$1100/mo. Like 99% of the users I made few cents a day at first :) But after you add more and more quality content to your site, get more traffic, and experiment with ad position/colors, number of ads on a page, etc things can change. You might find that changing a simple thing could double your earnings.
From what I know, new AdSense members are tempted to click on their own ads, thinking they will trick Google. They might see income increase for a few days but at the end of the month when Google will close their account, the users would say it was a scam because they didn't get paid.
I tried to show many users how to use AdSense but they don't seem to have enough patience.

I had an adsense account for over a year, and I had $50 dollars in my account that I was suppose to be paid. The only person that I even know that clicked any of my ads was one of my friends and they clicked like two ads. As the end of the month when they are suppose to pay has come around they notify me (after the fact so I had no warning) that my account has been disabled and that all the money I had earned had been refunded and they weren't going to pay me anything. They cheated me out!

I was reading some of the terms and I was a little confused. What would be considered "invalid activity"? I got the idea that it had something to do with getting too many clicks at a time? I also fell under the impression that if I didn't get enough clicks they would delete my adsense account. That makes sense I guess but if I'm not getting enough clicks and they do delete it can I in turn try again in a future when I build more traffic for a site? That was not clear to me. Please help!

Adsense is real. I have been using it for a while and make more money on adsense than any other ad service out there. Like Lisa said its all about relavant traffic.

you're defending Adsense just because you're a ramdom lucky one that they keep into their little club of chosen ones while they use most of the other people who get their accounts disabled just before they have to pay them for the ads, without any real explanation or details on why they did that, just a cold email informing that you are disabled and you won't get the money you worked for because they say they will return it to their advertisers, and who knows if they will really do that!

@lonelyboy323 Google scrutinizes every click for fraud. If they suspect anything suspicious they will disable your account. Sometimes they get it wrong. Google doesn't gain anything by disabling you. They actually WANT us to make money because when we do, they make more. But if they see something suspicious with your clicks they have to disable because they are protecting their advertisers -- the people buying those ads. It's not a scam tho. I've been getting paid for 8 years.

They cancelled me for no reason at all. Did it a day before I would receive the $30 I made, that of which would've helped me pay apartment bills. I'm a college kid and need all the help I can get. They offered this AdSense, and it was a godsend, then completely smashed any hope (and help) by doing what they did. Was really looking forward to all of it. =(

@bigredjew They pratically did the exact same thing to me as well, and they won't even tell me the exact reason they cancelled it, they left a big blank and are refusing to have anything to do with me. I've been researching some and working to possible sue for invalid terms. My $50 dollars were already made and some already finalized and now (after the fact) there notifying me that all my money has been refunded without any warning or type of consent and now I can't do nothin about it.

I am getting over 2000 hits a day on my music video. I did everything they said to do, they put the 99. into my account to make sure all that was right. Then after some time went by and it was time for them to deposit into my account they sent me a email telling me that my account had been shut down because they felt like I was getting to many clicks on ads. I know for a fact that none of my family or friends was clicking, all the clicks was ligit. Then they told me the money that had been generated by the hits would all go back to the advertiser.

Never quit your job or business for adsense, even if you are making good money. I make good money hosting other various websites on my servers and reselling and trading on the side. But still work for various companies as a programmer, the reason, because I enjoy what I do.
The way to succeed, is to look at it is as a way to get known and advertise yourself in your videos or website, people will notice and etheir job offers or hits to your sites. Don't ever depend on adsense as a income.

Agreed!! You need to join forums and setup a good website. Most people that make money off adsenses is traffic off of different forums and their own website, not really youtube videos, people won't know you or watch your videos unless you are on different forums and could take a couple of years to build on that and get the traffic to look at other options.
Most the of the youtube celebrities started when Youtube started or shortly after, it was easier and you earn more money back then.

I'm sorry to say, AdSense is a scam. I signed up about 2 months ago. The real adsense, and it looked like a good thing and you might be able to make a bit of money so I started promoting the ads on my videos like crazy. After I saw the earnings going up and then suddenly they closed my account because I was promoting it and they pocketed my earnings and said i would not get them. Still they put their ads on my videos. Sounds like a scam to me. I have informed friends and family, don't click ads.

All I can say our webiste averages around 25000 hits per day and it would take 2 months to make 100.00 Google paid us one time then never paid us again. 3 months went by and our account was showing we had $180.00,When we inquired why we were not getting paid, Google said they were all false hits and our balance was $7.25. Judge for yourself if it is a scam or not.

So many complain about Google AdSense and I don't see why. They target and update the ads for you... it's a cinch. Like anything that's easy, it's not going to pay the most. I'd probably make more money if I placed individual ads on my sites, but I don't have time to sit around all day placing ads on hundreds of pages. I'd much rather have my free time and let google figure it out.

You got it, that is only one way they scam. I was over $400 towards the end of one month, and on the 30th, i was at $136.18.
They don't pay You too much because in return , they would have to charge their paying clients higher advertising fees. In order to keep their clients , and make a HUGE profit, like any other scam, somebody has to lose, or in this case, work for almost FREE.
And YES , like any scam , in order to get people hooked, they pay out every now and then so they look legitimate.

Your CTR percentage gets too high or Your eCPM stayes over a certain number , You will be shut down. Google Adsense does not pay people. Too much traffic is a bad thing, it renders the account inactive. If a hundred people look and one person clicks thru, then google adsense is happy. If half of those people click thru, then one's account is inactive. that is the scam part.

I started monetizing after 2 years of uploading content,I didn't know about adsense, in November I made $40 dollars. I got very exiceted and began putting almost the same tags on my content to standarise and my traffic doubled, I also increased my content. December over $200, January $350 This month I will make about $420. Am I happy with adsense? Of course! I will continue creating more content. First off, the "ad-sense is a Scam" derives from people that have earned money from ad-sense, though have not received those earnings. They are receiving emails from legitimate Google "teams" that make claims that there were "invalid-clicks" on the webmasters site. Though in fact there were not any "invalid-clicks". Not to mention, that any emails sent to Google, do not contain any more answers than to the question "1+1=2" "It just does, we don't know why, or we can't tell you, it just does."

@bornblond9gb hundreds of websites are made everyday, most of them free, and for the purpose of Google ad-sense. Once they fail to get earnings, they dump the site, and move on to a different "get rich quick" scheme.
I know this to be true, because I see it happen everyday. I have 15 or so free websites linked to my ad-sense account. in a few months, ill tell you how it turned out.

If you go to google and type in "create a website" without quotes you will find my website ranked #4. I get found for thousands of different keywords per month in Google. Google pays us when people click the ads that we advertise on our site. The model is simple. I built my website and I earn money through AdSense. I never signed up with any service nor do I recommend you do.

Google Adsense is a scam. It worked for not even a month until Google decides that they don't need you anymore. I did nothing wrong on mine and they suspended it. Google and the people who run it, have nothing better to do with their lives other than laugh at the people who actually work for money and shut their accounts down. I can't wait until the computers all take a shit and our technology is sent back through time, I will laugh so hard and pray for the people at Google to die.

You most likely did something wrong that raised flags like clicking your own ads, having a blackhat site, more than 1 ad revenue service, or something else.

@JJxMxP What in the fucking hell is a blackhat site? I had a legit site that drove in decent traffic.... But its all good now... cant wait for the fall of technology, and all computers die...with half of the Americans that have no skills or traits other than electronics.

Google Adsense is a scam no one pays....when you win some money on ads that take account withdraw violated program policies...then the program will be disabled. Her can not tell them why you were turned off because they do not want to pay you. I do not recommend you be disabled when they see people from google to start making money

How much does AdSense pay? That's the main question I have and they can't seem to provide an answer. That to me is a bit dodgy.
I think they need to make it clear on their site that 90% of us will earn next to nothing anyway.

The most I made was around $1700/month and usually it is around $900-$1100/mo. Like 99% of the users I made few cents a day at first :) But after you add more and more quality content to your site, get more traffic, and experiment with ad position/colors, number of ads on a page, etc things can change. You might find that changing a simple thing could double your earnings.

From what I know, new AdSense members are tempted to click on their own ads, thinking they will trick Google. They might see income increase for a few days but at the end of the month when Google will close their account, the users would say it was a scam because they didn't get paid.
I tried to show many users how to use AdSense but they don't seem to have enough patience.
