  • what kind of kitchen is this?

  • why dont you just (A) slow down the clip (B)cut the clip in the right area then set it to reverse.isnt that easer

  • @ROCKSTARGAMERzZ There are certainly many ways to accomplish this, but by setting the keyframes on the same clip, you don’t need to readjust (and perhaps recut) each time you decide to slow down the first section, or decide to change the way the speed is interpolated across the changes in speed (like linear vs. bezier).

  • the voice was cracking in my ears, she could have revealed the secrets of the universe in the last 30 seconds and i would never know. only got 30 in before it was muted and this was posted.

  • You should look at the AE users' manual for how to keyframe/animate settings. This will explain your problem.

  • The logic is as follows: If I say 100%, it is actual speed, 50% is 1/2 the speed, 25% is a 1/4 the speed, 75% is 3/4 speed. Does that make it more clear to you? If you are planning to speed something up, anything more than 100% would be faster. 150% would be 1 1/2 times faster, 200% is 2 times faster. As you say you want it to slow down to 10% at the end, you would just put a keyframe at the end and make that 10%.

  • @revisionfx

thank you for your reply! i got it... but i have new problem.. i believe it should be 5 seconds of your time.. when keyframing, i can not seem to get linear ascending line coming from 0 frame to 50 (in your example)...instead i am getting a flat line! i can send you screenshot if its ok with just to see my problem...THANK YOU

  • PLEASE, BUT please can you explain me the logic of frame numbers in your tutorial (e.g. 50 to 25, 75 to 10, etc..) i just plan to apply effect where 10sec clip would run very fast and at the end it slows down to let's say10%... i do not know how to do that, thats I wanna understand the logic...

    THANX

  • Wait whats the thing your using called?!

  • I am not sure what you are referring to. I would be happy to answer your question, if you can be more clear.

    Thanks.

  • @revisionfx The program, there we go. Whats the program your using called?

  • I am using the "Twixtor" plug-in within the After Effects application for this particular tutorial. You can go to our website and download a demo version.

  • Okay Thanks :D

  • He doesn't. It's ReelSmart most likely.

  • @TensionProductions. Doesn't use Twixtor much. He uses CCforcemotion Blur.

  • He uses twixtor+realsmartmotionblur

  • Great tutorial! It's very easy to follow, and her voice is very clear and easy to understand. Thanks!

  • MacOS, After Effects and women? Is that even possible? :D

    Anyway, good tut for begining.

  • I dont like her voice.... And her tutorials dont really stay on task. IMO she gets all off

  • @shadowknight321 Exactly, thank you haha.
