  • waaah its too sad! i wish i could have watched it in theatres. but i think i was too young and i wasnt allowed because of that naked scene. hehe

  • this is a real tear jerker i still fight tears when i see that part!!!! DAYM...

  • This iz sooo sad when Jack died and its only a memory!!! :.( I'm sooo sad!!!

  • my great great grandma was on that ship. she had kids too. her kids went on the boat during the ship sank, my great great grandma doesnt want to leave her husband, so she said a HUGE good bye hug and kiss but sadly the ship sank because she fell of the ship and went into the freezing water and drowned. her kids was tooken in care by one of the foster parents. BUT i love this movie, even tho i never saw this, still it is good. :)

  • i always cry when i see this and the movie my fav movie :)

  • Gloria Stuart thank you for your wonderful emotional performance.

  • by far, one of the best movies ever made

  • yes grantapuslafaslot I do realize that Northern Ireland is a part of England, but these people were saying that the Titanic was Canadian and the last time I checked Canada was only a part of the British Empire by figurehead, and that does not mean that the Titanic was built in Canada

  • i remember that i saw titanic for the first time when i was only 3 or 4... and i already cried because of this film ç___ç it's a wonderful story... i'd like to have a so cute and sweet love story like Jack and Rose's one...

  • oh i remember when i went to watch this movie in theaters. The whole theater was crying and people we fainting lol. Bring back memories its a very intense sadden movie. Every time i watch it I cry.

Only watch if you can bare tears.

  • i cryed when she said Rose said:He exists only in my memory

  • Isn't it interesting how some historians argue that this movie was a disgrace because of the Romantic relation in the film?

If this movie wasn't such a hit I wouldn't have even cared - America and the world wouldn't have known...

This movie was a success because of the romance but also because it was based on historical accuracies. Some Historians have no idea!

RIP to those that tragically lost their lives.

*In to paradise may the angels lead you*

  • If you want a disgrace I suggest you look into, "Titanic the animated music."

  • u go girl...or boy!!srry!lolx

  • Out of the whole movie this is my favourite part, it makes me sad.

  • dammz this was me and mah x movie..

i cant stop cryin eveyrtime i watch it

Javier i love you and i miss you

  • was the titanic Canadian? because it sunk by Nova Scotia i think in Canada

  • ya i think so beni :D

  • no it was built in Ireland

  • I thought it was Liverpool?

  • the most in the background really greats me. and also about the fact its a film that something accually happen in real life.

  • I have not seen this, I'm actually scared it will be too sad...

  • it is. i cried when i first saw the boat sink to the end of the film on tv. i dont seem to cry at stuff like eastenders, waterloo road or casualty stuff like that. im a 15 year old boy too! titanic was the first thing i cried at on tv in 5 years.

  • i have never seen this movie.. is it good?

  • it is good. i find the bit before hitting the iceberg boring, but the boat sinking is iconic! it made me cry and im a 15 year old boy who hardly crys at sad stuff on telly!

  • IT's won 11 Oscars

    And I think it's brilliant.

A classic love story where two lovers are torn apart my class and all hell breaking loose around them

  • yes it is

  • no the ship wasn't, there is a cemetary in Nova Scotia because it did sink relatively close to Canada but the ship was Irish

  • You do realise nothern Ireland is part of Britian don't you? Whether as southern Ireland is its own country.

  • as if you havent see it.. its amazing.. its on of the most saddest films everr.... u have to watch it!!

  • I love the part where after Rose discovers that Jack died, she was going to remain there to die with him, but THEN she REMEMBERED Jack's promise. The reason I love that part is because to show how much Rose loves Jack by recalling his promise, to not give up and survive.

  • VERY SAD!!!!

  • :'(

  • The look of determination on her face...

'I will hold on to my promise!'...

    I totally agree with keged85...

  • i like the part that starts in 2:30. rose realized jack died and that the boat was drifting away...so she chooses to die next to him. but then she remember her promise to jack. ilike how the music connected to the scenes, especially at 2:49, where the bass thud and high note on the chant accents rose opening her eyes and choosing to live.

  • I think the saddest part is when old Rose says: He exists now only in my memory.

  • Because your little life is so empty, you need to do whatever it takes to get you noticed.

You don't even like yourself which is why you make the effort to give people a reason to dislike you before they get to know you.

    Have a nice day.

  • Hahahaha u r such a pussy hahaha :D

  • Please, don't be so rude. There's enough idiots in this world

  • fucking dick

  • I agree... Some people really need to get a life. Why would someone waste their precious time commenting something like that? He/she must be very lonely and disturbed. :)

  • Because their life is not precious and they do no have a life.

  • Amen.

  • This movie is really sad ive even cried to this movie & 'til this day i still cry to it when i watch it so yea thats how sad this movie is

  • This movie is so heavy and has such an impact. When Rose says "there's a boat" she is in so much pain because she is telling Jack -- here, were can start our life together, but deep inside she knows he is not there. She had to live everyday without him, and she never told anyone. She started her life over, yet she would always think about that day -- about the person who changed her life. Wow, this movie is purely amazing. It gets me every single time and shocks me over and over.

  • I really cried when i saw this movie, and even after i watched it, i still remember, and cry whenever that theme comes into my mind :'(

  • Rest in Peace Titanic. Rest in Peace

  • i am crying my eyeballs out right now!!

  • i cried ;-( i really love this movie but itz like soo sad! they picked great actors for this movie. Know1 could've played it better then them

  • i cry everytime

    qreat movie(:

  • most saddest thing ever...but ummm what song do they play at 3:26 all the way to 3:50?

  • my heart will go on instrumental.

  • i am always okay when jack is dying,

and then the music starts, and i lose it.

i cant hold it together, no matter what i do...

  • when I first saw this, I was on the verge of crying. and to make it worse, jack died!

the only thing that made me say "ew" was when she took the whistle out of the dead dudes mouth!

  • this part is really strong.

i love when she remenbers the promisse she made him, and decides to get rescued.

and also the way she blows the whistle, a strong sense of survival, grabing life....

  • so so so so sad...:'[...sad.....

  • :'(

i love this, its so sad. he knew if he stayed in the water he would die he risked his life for hers its so sad. :'(

  • when she blows the whistle, she's not blowing it actually

    it's fake

  • this is the only girly romantic film i realli like.

what makes it realli sad 4 me is that she hated her lifestyle and felt trapped, so all she had in the world was him.

possibly the saddest part for me is when she says

'he exists now only in my memory'

  • What were they doing in Ireland?

  • es lo maximo!!!!!!!!!

  • yeah that's what i was saying, she's not meant to be british.

  • rose has a british accent on titanic, but as a lod lady she doesnt. dnt get it.

  • Kate winslet is british.

  • shes like trying to put on an american accent in it i think. probably meant to get stronger for her living in america for the rest of her days i guess.

  • This movie is so romantic every time i watch it i cry but it is manys fav but if you gave me a choice of any movie in the world and the titanic I would pick the titanic because its one of the greatest in the world but so so so sad too :(:(:( (crys)

  • there was enough room for him on the door she was on though, but the film would've been crap if he had survived

  • that is not funny wow apparently you have no heart whatsoever, AT ALL, none, zip, zero, ugh i hate people with no romantic part in their heart .

  • روعه جداا

  • ive herd that in 2011 the are going to make it in 3D ?!?!?! x

  • 2:09 , the saddst part.

  • i cry everytime .. why didt the swap

  • i cry at the end sooo much i love this movie my fav ever

  • Omg this movie is amazing i love it so much and i cry every time its so sad but very true in some ways but can someone just answer my question .... why did jack not just get on another floating piece of furniture i could so loads round about ?????? ..... xxx

  • maybe they didnt want to be separated from each other

if jack had gotten on a different floating thing they could have floated off in different directions and been lost forever.

    i dont know...=))

  • he exist now only in my memorie omg so sad

  • Thanks for post this. It is a great video! Good job! I love this movie!

  • Ok can somebody give me a damn good reason why Jack and Rose couldn't share the floating furniture?!?!?!?

  • sink dumbass, its wood

  • they tried, but when he tried to get on it flipped. so he helped her on so she wouldn't freeze.

  • it would think cause it couldnt support 2 people? duhh jack said that himself to the guy that tried to get on lol

  • I know, you would have thought they would make more than one attempt? :P

  • that is exactly what always bugs me about rose !!!!!!!!!!

  • she dropped the heart bcoz she wanted to forget all the pain suffered in her life and only remeber jack in his heart for which she doesnt needed a costly necklace!! she wanted to give back the memories of that horrifying ship...and due to this diamond only...he died..!! bcz ifit had not been dat...he had left the ship much before!!

  • no undertakerkane100 she dropped the nekalace into the water so that the soul of jack would be the keeper of it to let him no she has not fogot him

  • Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Efffing Saddddddd]]]]]=

  • dawson ros doson emotional

  • Can someone tell me the name of the song that starts at 7:24??? please

  • My heart will go on by Celine Dion

  • could someon explain it to me why does she drop that diamant in the ocean?? i have a theory.. that's her heasrt and if she is back where jack is... she need to give her heart to him ?... stupid no? need to know why does she drop the diamant... thanks

  • god this is sooo sad... shes says il never let go and at that moment she lets him go.. bless her

  • .... =)

  • :'(

  • i've really watched this film since this year only not since 1997 when it first shown in cinemas cause i don't know yet and i don't have any interest yet on watching adult films. When i've watched this movie on TV, it was really the saddest movie ending that i've ever seen in my life so far. but for me i consider this as one of the best movies that ever been made!

  • tear , tear lol

  • well actually, the saddest part is not when Jack dies, but when Rose arrives to New York. She is the only one who had the opportunity to see the splendid Statue of Liberty and her friends, and the love of her life, are all dead without seeing it. That is sad

  • I cried sooooo hard :(.

She loved him but never could be together with him forever.

Such a heartbreaking movie. And the music makes it way more dramatic.

  • i nearl cried wen i first watched it

  • I love the part when the subs floats back up to the surface and titanic disappears in the darkness. It so emotional !!

  • man this movie is touchin to me man

  • am about to cry

  • this is so sad

  • yeah..i cried when jack died and at the wedding part. The wedding would've happened if jack hadn't died. It was so sad.

  • That is actually a gud question the only answers i can think of his that they didnt know how cold the water was or they were panicking that much that the thought never came into mind..i will try & research that for you...

  • Comment removed

  • sorry about my first reply. that had nothing to do with your question. i was replying to something else. XP

but i would guess that it was because they were expecting the boats to come sooner, but unfortunately, the boat captains were super hesitant so it became too late.

  • Look, they weren't stupid. Try to imagine yourself in that situation. You wouldn't be thinking straight. A situation like that messes up anyone's mind. It may simple for us that they should've done that, but maybe it wasn't that simple to figure that out when they had been through panic, disaster, fear...

  • I agree with the others. You were just woken up in the middle of the night and the officers didn't even tell the passengers they were in danger until the ship started to list. Either the way the whole evacuation was unorganized, but didn't go in vain. This situation is the exact reason why every ship that carries passengers HAS to have enough lifeboats for everyone and must conduct a drill.

  • when the boats were being loaded, the crew only admitted women and children so a lot of men couldn't get on and the people who are in first class got to most boats. the ship was slowly sinking and there were couples who didn't wanna part with each other. Everyone was panicking cuz the ship was sinking and none of them wanted to enter the water.Because most of the wealthy loaded the boats, many poor people lost hope of being rescued.

  • one of my top 3 fav films alongside shawshank redemption and forrest gump. I like how it resembles the rich and the poor and it shows that social class and money does not matter when it comes to falling in love.

  • omg!!! At 2:40 it's like she's giving up and just wants to die with him, but at 2:49 it's like she remembers what she promised him! This is so beautifully done!!!!

  • whats that sailorman cryes at 4:13 ???

  • Come About, basically it's another way of saying turn around.

  • Thanks :)

  • "Come About!!"

  • uhh hum identity fraud at the end! LOL only joking!

  • never in my life have i cried at a movie but for some reason this one always gets me!

  • its too sad movie i like it but every time i cry

  • No matter how many times I watch this I cry.

    *sniff*

One of the greatest movies ever.

  • you shouldn't have watched this if you haven't seen it hah

  • I'm calling being the first to censor this.

  • u should watch it! it's such a beautiful movie....

when jack said "never let go" he meant it in a way that she would never let go of him emotionally, he wanted her to move on if he died, but to never let go of their love <3 =(

  • Anyone who says this movie sucks is a snob trying to be cool.

  • well said. =] this movie is definitely one of the greatest (if not the best) movies ever made. it's so beautiful on so many levels.

  • i am crying this moment right now seeing thiS! :'(

  • The "Dawson. Rose Dawson" part really got me going..and still does. Oh gosh...here I go again...

  • i think this movie makes almost everyone cry<3 its so beautiful. it definately deserves its 11 acadamy awards! i can watch this film over and over again and i would never get tired of it (: thank you james cameron for making this amazing movieee !

  • i saw this movie aroud 300-400 times not even kidding it use to be my favorite movie!

  • i don't even know how many times i've seen this movie lol but it brings back a lot of memories and it makes the ocean seem so big...

  • wow...

    it always gets me..

  • the music at 2:12 so emotional :'(

  • "Jack? Jack? Theres a boat Jack?! Jack?!" I am crying right now :'(

  • it makes me cry!!!! *~*

  • Thank God that James Cameron made this movie.

  • ive seen the titanic like 4-6 times the ending always makes me cry

  • Beautiful film :D Saw it 23 times at the movies and i still love it, i dont care what anybody says about it. Who doesnt long to find that kind of love? =(

  • this makes me cry...o men

  • when I went to see that film in the movies i was only 8 year old and It's been one of my favorite movies ever since.

  • I find it sad that he died in the first place, but...I also find it kind of happy that he died holding her hand...I mean, it can't be THAT unpeaceful to die right next to your loved one, so they were the lucky ones...

  • This movie is so beautiful to me :.))

  • Titanic is the best movie ever!! i love that movie!!!

  • God. I was doing fine in the emotional department (cept for feeling bad for the survivors) , but for no reason, right when she blows the whistle, I just had a river of tears come out.

  • this movie makes me sad, almost tingley! haha

  • movie like this get me so angry to know that it could have been prevented, so sad .R.I.P EVERYONE ON THE TITANIC

  • were about did all those people freez to death in the water

  • Yes. In the movie (as in real life), the people in the lifeboats were afraid that if they rescued people in the water right away, the boats would be mobbed and sunk as well. They waited until the commotion died down before returning for rescue. Unforunately, many people had already died from the cold water by this time.

  • I had no idea that happened, makes there deaths even worse

  • Even worse, I read that there was a ship just an hour or so away (it could have reached the Titanic for rescue in time), but it mistook the emergency flares for fireworks.

  • wow, that many innocent people died becoz of other people mistakes. thanks for the info

  • Yeah, it was terrible. And you're welcome.

  • Excuse me?

  • Titanic is the best movie i have ever seen. I never get bored watched it. I love Rose's looking at the statue of the Liberty. There are so many meaning in that. Love you ROSE !!!!

  • Ha! I can't believe people actually believe The Notebook is a better movie than the Titanic. The Tiantic PWNS The Notebook!

  • Omg! Can you just feel the connection between them. Losing your LOVE and have to live with it. Just seeing Jack vanish in the cold, black ocean like that. And that she couldn't do nothing about it.

-Crying- ( tears of sadness )

  • There was not an actual Diamond. It was based after the Hope Diamond which is at the smithsonian in Washington.

  • the older i get the more i cry during this scene

  • I've not seen this movie in years....I was young at the time so maybe I missed it....but was the whole purpose of this entire expedition to find 'one' small necklace amidst a huge ship wreckage or was that just this guy and whatever enterege of treasure hunters he brought along?

  • I believe the necklace was the purpose, but it was a very expensive one (I believe it was carved from the French Blue, which itself came from the Hope Diamond).

  • I can get that it's very expensive but it seems like it's a big stretch to think they'd be able to find it with even high tech machinery since ya know it's a necklace and the oceans rather large, it seems like it would be one of the many things to be lost beneath a layer of dirt or growing plant life.

  • I know, it would be one of the suspension of belief things.

Only other explanation I guess is that as a rare and expensive piece of jewelry, they'd be banking on the fact that the owner would have probably kept it in the safe (rather than just dropping it on the floor or somethig). I haven't seen the beginning for a while, but didn't the exploration team go directly to the safe first?

  • You know about as much as me, though after going to the safe and finding nothing you'd think there wouldn't be much hope beyond that.

  • Yeah, I'd guess that the safe would have been their one good shot and after that, they were in trouble to find the thing.

On a seperate note, have you seen the alternate ending, when the salvage crew watches Rose chuck the necklace overboard?
