I agree that it’s a good addition to the first two. While it may not be as good as the first ones, it’s still a great film. The acting, special effects, and camera work all flow together into a smooth storyline. Overall, I agree with your assessment of Terminator Salvation: fun and exciting action film. If there was any silence to be filled you could always count on john connor to yell " COME ON!!" Acting was a little weak but it had several allusions to the first films and had incredible special effects. Also, to justify the terminator's primarily melee attacks, they were supposed to be in their primitive state. Young Arnold was cool.

There are serious issues with the plot and dialog, which hindered most performances.

When it is convenient, the film relies on the storyline established by previous terminator films. However, when it is inconvenient, Salvation also ignores terminator history. As a result, it is a convoluted story that can confuse everyone that is familiar, or unfamiliar with the terminator franchise

Yet again the studios wimp out on making a movie for adults with great plot lines tension story line and good characters and replace them with one boring action scene after another. In the first films they had tension humour good story and you really did give a shit about the characters. This had potential but they messed it up with a bad script that made bale look like an arse. A couple of scenes were exciting but thats it. 1 star out of 5 from me.

Take a couple of telecommunications classes, learn the industry, and then come back with an educated opinion. I really liked it Terminated Salvation: I thought the storyline & action from the Cast was solid. And both to me actor's Bale & Worthington saved this film and the surprises, too. His role as John Connor was intense moving & Worthington scared me to be honest 'cause he was hybrid Terminated and he hell of tough! The young man that played Reese (he played Chekov in Star Trek) is a cutie pie..'I got all emotional cause REESE in the origional the Classic TERMINATOR is my heart!
