@jonahtran1 i get your point but Voodoo Child wasnt a blues song. Its in the style of blues but its 60's hard rock. When you listen to Jimi do it he never had the greatest blues tone either. It got more distorted in the 68-70 era when he went half step down.

If you played voodoo chile slowly on an acoustic you'll find that it sounds more delta-bluesy than anything. He was a total innovator and was way above and beyond rock and roll. He was.... Jimi Hendrix.
