This piece is from the Bach Suites For Unaccompanied Cello. Can't find the score right now, so I can't tell you which one.

Btw, check out the recording of the Suites by Maurice Gendron, on Phillips. The dance character of this music is luminously evident in his playing.

This is a wonderful sounding instrument. I know nothing about it, other than I think it has three primary strings which are bowed? Is that correct? How is it tuned and are the keys altering the lengths of the strings?

En strategi för att få upp snabbheten jag har använt är att spela i slow-motion först och öka farten allt eftersom jag bemästrat stycket för att sedan kunna utföra mönstret halft instinktivt. Krävs en hel del tränning dock.
