Often people forget Abba's more unknown other album tracks are as strong as their hits. Great sing-a-longs.

Yes you're right there. Ring Ring is one of the best ever debut albums. Its full of unique catchy tuneful songs like this one. Another Town, Another Train - Disillusion - I Saw It In The Mirror - Nina, Pretty Ballerina - She's My Kind Of Girl - I Am Just A Girl - Merry Go Round are also good unknown singalong songs on this cd. Its got 15 tracks on. It's a bargain at just £10 now, and is still in shops.

They couldn't release that many singles, only the very best songs could be hits! There's only 8 albums, its easier to get them. I keep all 8 of them in my car, and play 1 per day, along with 6 of Agnetha's albums. That makes a nice 2 week rotation cycle!

Sounds like Frida doing the lead vocal. Her vocal range is lower than Agnetha's. I came across this about a week ago listening to ABBA'a early albums.

This was Frida's first lead vocal with the group. Its on their debut album Ring Ring, released in 1973. There are lots of nice catchy simplistic style songs on this brilliant album. Its one of the best debut albums ever.

Yes there's some similarity between them Mark, although I think Karen's voice is deeper and more of a country music style. She usually sings much slower than Frida does also.

I certainly am proud of both of them Elin, they've both made a good start to life. There tended to be bigger families when I was young, things were much more difficult then. I was one of 6 children, we used to play in the fields just like in this song. 'Those were my happiest days' could be apt!

Yes I was quite pleased with that picture Shay. Its nice and clear and looks like its on the rooftops. We had to play rugby at my senior school, what a nuicamce! Simon's dropped off the goalscoring lately, he couldn't keep that scoring rate going! These are good lyrics from Benny. The song has special significance for him and Frida, being her first lead vocal for the group. He left the task to Bjorn thereafter, and concentrated on the music.

Hi Jose, I wish things were going as well as that! Simon would have been signed up by some club by now. He's unlikely to takeup football, only a fraction of players make it professionally. David only did the normal 5 years at senior school, he's not that intellectally minded. But at least he's got a decent steady job, and should do ok in the future. You take care also Jose.
