@DragonXVZ Gearbox patched it because people were farming them and getting sever purple orange and alien weapons from the red. So now they are silver. :(

Or you can go to Tartarus station and go finish some quests until the factory one because it's rare to find one but I found 2 of the same 1 in the place and I made 400k. (I got the alien shotgun and I got a sniper in T-Bone Junction)

dude, there's a ramp to the last chest, then if you jjump on the ledge, you can get to the 4th one much easier.

Get the Genreal Knoxx DLC, use the armory glitch (repeately) and get a sh!tload of alien weapons (more than you can carry). ;-)

@UltimatePokemonFan75 once you killed Knoxx, proceed to the armory. Now walk sideways through the first door-thing and you'll fall down into the weapons chamber - without triggering the countdown. You can make the chests red again if you clear your cache with whatever memory unit you're using for the borderlands saves.
