  • Its good-try Steve Harley's 'Sebastian' -the long 10 minute version if you can find it.

  • Great cockney attitude.....trumps georges version much as I like the beatles and george himself ...RIp

  • From my point of view.

The best way a Beatles song have ever been played..... :)

  • awfull proggy and shite, no need

  • Worst cover version ever? Fucking awful.

  • a left school in 77 n cockney rebel where a cool band 75 -76 n this tune is as cool now as it wuz then,, am not the biggest fan of covers but this 1s cool but if u wanna check out 1 of the best covers eva. check out "billy paul's" cover of elton johns "your song" it wuz originally the Bside of "me n mrs jones"...............

  • Totally abysmal - don't believe me? listen the original,an example of a song that could NEVER be covered and made better, like Stairway to Heaven,or Bohemian Rhapsody,or Bridge Over Troubled Water.Classic songs should be left as they are and admired for all time, not copied and ruined!!

  • @GBPaddling It's absolutely fine, the original is a little bland in comparison.

  • Harry Hill ripped off those high collared shirts!!

  • best version

  • yeah should be proud of it!

  • His chin in huge, his mullet is wrong, his glasses are wrong, his camera anglechanigngaround sweeping hair is wrong, the cover is wrong, the synthasiser is wrong, The chimes are wrong, The ending is wrong ITS ALL WRONG

  • @corpsemunger all that n" paul wella " ripped off the image

  • @corpsemunger humm n who did "paul wella" rip off then?

  • haha its awful, its like hahaha its just nasty, its just wrong... im all for people dong covers and changing the origional song abit but this is just ah im sorry

  • @corpsemunger

    Agreed.

  • @corpsemunger Blah blah blah. Let's see what you can do you. Can you play the guitar? Can you do something creative? You like to talk shit about people? Put up or shut up.

  • @AlizarinStag yes i can play guitar - i do lots of creative things...

i quite like some of the stuff steve harley has done - "come up and see me" for example

but this is just awful, it certainly is not creative, i dont like talking shit about people, this is just my opinion,

This is comparible to some of the jonas Brothers covers of the beatles...

"put up or shut up" NO - im a teenager, therefore im allowed to winge all i want, deal with it and man up

  • @corpsemunger That was a much better critique then the other comments you left that were just nasty and hollow. They showed no indication you had any idea about who the singer was, or what he is actually capable of. I'm okay with someone not liking something, but your comment seemed pointlessly hostile and useless.

And as for your teenager comment, if you're allowed to winge and be pissy, I as an adult am allowed to call you on it. We will both happily play our roles.

  • @AlizarinStag have a look at "paul wella" not ripped off steve harley much has ahe

  • should have went to specsavers, hee, hee

  • The bassist is probably the most epic win to walk the earth.

  • Great tune. RIP lennon. Legend.

  • RIP Lennon? George Harrison wrote this

  • @JustLoveForMe Yes George Harrison wrote this in 1969. I have the original on a Beatles Album. A great version this!

  • It was originally released on Abbey Road, is that what you have it on? I love this version, although I can understand why some people might not like it if they don't like his style, but I personally really like it :)

  • @JustLoveForMe No I have this on 'The Beatles Collection 1967-1970, and I really like Steve Harley's style as well.

  • @JustLoveForMe Well fuck I guess we can all stop saying RIP Freddie Mercury on Who Wants to Live Together since Brian wrote it? Oh? What's that? It's because it was the band Queen and Freddie's dead? Oh? The same thing applies here? Gotcha.

  • great stuff...hope he tours soon...catch him every time...he s the man!

  • What is that percussion instrument - a glockenspiel? I loved the Beatles original, but this has something different going for it that is really pleasant :)

  • u mean the ones standing up that he's hitting with a hammer? those are just called chimes

  • Thanks :)

  • chimes are very small, beatleguy is totally wrong, they are tubular bells.

go on google images and see the difference.

  • what can i say never totally wrong is a very good cover and Lennon and Harrison would be proud

  • wig
