I am a US Marine and agree, you can't compare different armies such the British Royal Marines with the US Marines or even the ROK Marines. Every army will have their bottom 10% and their top 10%. To say so and so is better because he is a "X" Marine is a flawed and pointless argument.
Agreed it is stupid to say who is better but, its all down to training...the more you train the better soldier you are. but the royal marines train longer and harder and are more of an elite force effective in small quantities. the USMC seem to still concentrate on quantity rather then quality but hey there deffinetly up there you dont want to mess with those guys. surley there far more effective then the army
