I was in my school library. I glanced at the cover for a second and, the next instant, I picked it up and started reading. When I finished, I quietly closed the book and sat there, thinking, "This is it. This is why I love stories in a visual format. This is why I love comics." Thank you, Mr. Small, for giving a little direction in the aimless life of this teenager.

Small's world is unbelievable and insane - and a rich slice of Detroit life -- each page is a beautiful spell-binding artwork torn from the skull - he puts it down like no one else.

I have read this book and it is just amazing! Even if you don't normally read graphic novels, you must read this one. You will be draw in immediately and won't be able to put it down. Thank you David for sharing your story.
