Apparently you have a very low opinion of the mental abilities of Christians. It reminds me of the Geico commercials where the the cavemen are underestimated.
don't worry lousaffire i know where your coming from. I agree totally with you. but there is no point trying to teach these people... let them be content with there beliefs.
Such a primitive understanding .. this is not *thinking* really ... we know nothing yet of what is and what exists, quantum reality is a complete paradox. Yes, the Universe and Beyond (are) mighty and truly divine, but our *written* religions are all written by human hands and conceived in human minds, after all! Who *created* God, our religious concept of God - we did! Homos sapiens did
Something that no one can comprehend, but must have faith in, is that God "is", "was", and "always" will be! He is the "beginning and the end", the "Alpha and Omega". God is the "King of all Kings" and "Lord of All Lords". The Hebrew Bible was physically written by mans hands. The men that God made in "his image". Keep in mind that each one of these men that wrote the books of the Bible not of a typical "religous" stature. They were more devoted than most can even understand.
time is a man made concept that uses repeating events such as the movement of a sun to organise ourselves to be doing a certain activity depending on the placement of other moving physical objects in an infinite present moment. people merely assume it is a 4th dimension because we have vivid immagination, the past is your memory the future is your immagination all that is physically real and observable is the present
according to this theory, if there is no time... there is nothing, because everything depends on time... your body activities (enzymes, sensations (yes pain included), physical movement etc.) all depend on time... ALL properties of the universe depend on time... time is the only thing that's not chemistry, thus it's separate from physical world but the two have a tight relationship, if one doesn't exist, neither does the other
But the point is that God is outside of time. He does not have a physical body. He is outside of our dimensional limitations. He is everywhere, he sees everything, and is not limited by time or space. He is beyond our physical world. He created the physical world and he created time.
"It is pointless to ask "Who created God?" since God exists outside of the dimension of time."
well when you can come up with proof of gods existence then we can move on to the question of god existing out of time. since there is no proof of gods existence we'll probably be waiting awhile.....
What made you watch this video? Were you looking for answers?
The average human lives approx. 75 years. If you truly find CHRIST, what is it worth, if your wrong, well, oops! this place sucks for ALL ETERNITY!!!!!!!!!!, but if your right, you've lost nothing
time exists fools if it doesnt nothing has a begin or and end and every life on the planet has a begin and an end every star galaxy and planet begins and ends so thats why there is time
Ummm, I think there has been one crucial thing overlooked in this argument; time NEVER existed in the first place! Time is merely a method humans created to file events into a chronological order. We exist in a single, eternal moment. What we confuse for time is merely movement and entropy. We have merely become confused into believing that time is an actual force. Do the research for yourself. It's a hotly debated topic amongst scientists.
Time is the movement of energy and matter through the universe. If you were to freeze time, we wouldn't be able to move, use our senses, think - nothing. All our thoughts are merely chemical and electrical processes in the brain. Without time, we would have no consciousness.
Well time is just a dimension as any other so without any dimensions we might have no consciousness, but that could only be said if we are conscious of how consciousness works.
If we could step outside of the dimension of time into the realm of God, how different things would be! I think that there must be something within us that tells us this is possible. Just think of all of the books and movies about time-travel which the human mind has created. We all long to be free from this restrictive dimension of time, while making the mistake of thinking that God is also restricted by this dimension, when he is not.
Just think of all the books and movies about Harry Potter and Star Wars the human mind has created. We all long to use magic and lightsabers while making the mistake of thinking God hates warlocks and Jedi.
Since you brought it up, all of those stories share the idea of a struggle between good and evil that transcends our physical existence. Why do we think that there is a spiritual warfare between good and evil? (As the Bible in Ephesians 6:12 tells us there is.) Why do we think there is even such a thing as good and evil when Darwinism can only give us "survival of the fittest" with no right and wrong?
i love to hear christians harping on about physics
its like kinda like cave man telling us we dont know enough about neuclear fusion!

Why is it that preachers have a way of speaking? I have noticed this when watching them.
BionicSoldier 4 years ago
John is not a preacher. He is a public school science teacher.

He still has that way of speaking though.
