  • trust me it was on crazy larry, i have a diff turbo so that may not show the full effects of fuel im wasting and also i have water/meth injection. burns fuel more complete.

  • was this a ATS exhaust manifold? did it change the sound when getting into the gas?

  • yes it was an ATS manifold, as far as the sound i dont think it did anything as far as sound. the exhaust and programmer did the most sound change, also when the water/meth comes on it gets a lil louder.

  • stcok turbos may be capable of putin out 40 psi but they dont flow much exhaust making egts hot at that level and dont last as long either cuz there notmade to put out that kinda boost pres

  • with a smarty the stock turbo on an 04.5 makes 40 psi ypu wasted your cash on a different turbo

  • Wheres the Video with your Diesel in it? and i far from wasted my money. i went from a 62/9 to a 62/14, a more reliable more efficient unit with a bigger shaft for my applications of street/strip/towing. well let just say with my bullydog, making 42lbs on H20/meth my EGTs run @ 900 degrees @ WOT. meaning long hard pulls wont cook the turbo, but if you had and common sense you would know that. unreal how dicks bash on people just cuz they got nice shit.... post em bitch!

  • actually if the turbo you bought is variable geometry then it will be better over the stock turbo but if it is not then the stock turbo is better for towing and a little racing because the variable geometry turbo reduces turbo lag to a minimum. but i love your truck it is nice.

  • i understand where your coming from, but alot of ppl are swapping out VGT for fixed unit in late 07 and 08 6.7CTD. better power and less hassle. and thanks for the comment. J

  • what gear are you in. r u in low goin into 2nd or 2nd goin into 3rd?

  • 2nd to 3rd to 4th, 1st is entirely too low with 4.10 gears. only good for burnouts.

  • yeah thats what i thought. the only time we use low in our truck is when were pulling our dozer out of the woods on the flat bed. right now i have a 93 cummins, and pops has a 02. im working on gettin a 03 here shortly

  • i had an 02 cummins for about 6 months, great truck to do mods too, i decided to step up to the 04.5 for the 325hp/610ftlb and the ride quality was a big thing too.

  • yah man thats sick im getting 1 of them 2 and i want to turbo it queson i want to chip exaust turbo and im going to be around 700hp with it all stock when i do that will i hurt the moter its a 2500 04 cummins

  • i think im making around 500hp and 1000ft lb torque. i have actually reached the capacity of my aftermarket turbo. (525/1000)i need more fuel because doing the exhaust turbo and manifold took soooo much away. 700hp will be too much on stock clutch as i have spun mine with what i have. the fuel system may be good but you will have to check into it. the cummins is bulletproof as long as you take care of it. goodluck

  • your going to be held up by your fuel system, you will need a bigger pump to accomodate the power. again goodluck
