I was working at the Trafford Centre in Manchester during Christmas 1998 when I was still at sixth form, just after this song was released. Out of all the songs they would play on the huge TV in the food court this is the only one I didn't get tired of hearing. Not a huge fan of the band, to be honest, but this song is ace.

I remember about 15 years ago I went to Florida with my family and my older sister's boyfriend came with us and him introducing R.E.M. to me. I've been a fan ever since. Their music has helped me through a lot of stuff. I remember getting a call from my grandma that my uncle had died and I went into my room and played R.E.M. and crying for hours.
