I loved it when they sampled from movies like Dune. I can't believe its been 20 years now. I did not know he had past on (EON) - I hope he got save through Jesus Christ so I can meet him in heaven!!!
I used to pump Eon up on the 8" bazooka tube in the back of my Z -car, circa 1991...I thought I was the shit, and that bass tube was a real game-changer at the time, believe it or not. The Shamen was another early dance/techno favorite of mine. Twenty years goes by faaaast !!
@bustinsnorkle nice I had the Shamen too AND the Enigma song with those chanting Monks. What was that one called?? Good old cassette tape singles and my 8" bazooka tube. Don't tell still have the bass in my truck!
@BDDave Too funny because that same old tube I had back in the day is still bumpin' along in my boat to this day. And I remember that Enigma thing too , had a girlfriend that liked to throw that on and get busy !
Excellent! I thought I was the only who wanted to use Dune in a rave tune. I never got round to it, though I glad someone did..... Nice to hear the intro from Human league's 'Love Action' which was also used in 'The Horn Track' by Egytian Empire.
Thank you Ian for making such a cool track. I am sorry you are gone but your memmory lives on. I danced my ass off on many a weekend at the clubs in downtown Dallas in the 90's.
One of the best dance songs ever. Between this and 'Final Warning', I'm not sure which one rocks my world the most. Ian was such a great artist, it's so sad that he's gone from this world. It makes me treasure my copy of "VOID DWELLER" even more. Thanks for the music and the great memories of my youth, Ian! Hope you're rockin' cloud 9.
I just remember this as the one of the songs I went wild to. It was an awesome time. I have some advice stay away from drugs kids. They mess you up. Lots of love, take care. :)
Thanks so much for posting. Had no idea about Ian's passing. Very sad indeed, but his music lives on. This still causes the inescapable need to get up and dance my ass off and I am SO glad I was able to replace it. Great memories! Some of the best music ever. Thanks, BDDave. Thanks Ian. RIP ♥♥♥

Great tune, remember hearing it playing in Fopp on Cockburn St Edinburgh before they moved over the road. Bought two versions of it on vinyl which are now somewhere in the attic. Good times indead....seems along time ago now, almost 20 years!
OMG! the halcyon days of my "youth" - up all weekend - vowing not to stay out on a friday cos of work saturday & trying desperately to keep it together in Afflecks Arcade selling posters to the great mancunian public whilst my head was on Jupiter!!!!!!
This tune was/is FIERCE!!!!!!!fantastic night & early mornings keeping the neighbour hood wide awake!!!BUT I was "young" then.......& the spice certainly did flow....Cheers!
@BDDave Got ya'll beat. Needed quick cheap wheels back in 1992. 1976 Cadillac Eldorado with an 8 track player. Just added a Kenwood amp and 12'' woofers in the trunk. Found a 8 track house stereo that records and put this song on. Everybody wondered where I got techno on 8 track tapes from.
This song gives me great memories to the early 1990s.1st time heard this was in mid 1991 when I went to my first Night club( I thought,"what a strange style of music".But,I liked it.Had afew DJ mixed cassette tapes with this techno classic).By Spring season 1992,got into the Rave scene and was really into this style of music. But strange, not one Rave I went to was this song played.
