he said he was against yucca mountain waste disposal in Nevada. it was controversial because nevada doesnt have a nuclear plant, and two thirds of the people found this unfair. also, nevada has been the area for nuclear weapons testing. yucca mountain waste disposal was closed in 2010 from pressure from obama since his presidency.
