The Dungeon Of Doom in the triple cage? Yeah that was a real memorable ratings smash. To say Hall & Nash killed WCW is flat out idiotic. Hall wasn't even employed the last year and Nash was rarely seen. Time Warner & Jamie Kellner killed WCW by canceling Nitro because they didn't want wrestling on TBS.

I use to love these. World War 3 always entertained me. It was definitely flawed, but it was somehow so entertaining. It was entertaining to the extent which I wish they would bring this back whether it be WWE or TNA! I think it should come to TNA since this is something Bischoff came up with, and he's currently over there.

@BADASSCAGE A large number of the guys you see weren't strictly wcw employees. Some of the Mexican wrestlers (Vivianos, Silver King) only had short stay with wcw. I think it was along the lines of doing US tour. Working a few weeks/months at various promotions throughout the U.S. Other guys like Barry Darsow (Demolition Smash, Repo Man) were probably signed just for this match. WWF in the early 90's had a ton of guys singed strictly for the Royal Rumble.

All you had to do was watch if someone's feet touched the floor after being thrown over the rope. Until 1998, the second to last year of the event, the only way to eliminate anyone was to throw them over the top rope. Then they allowed pinning and submitions, and THEN it became hard to track.
