Thanks a lot joe, but how exactly to I tighten and loosen it? Lol sorry, this is my first new pedal since my stock one, so any other tips for the transition of stock to speed king? Thanks
Hey Joe, I just bought my Ludwig speed king bass pedal, do u have any tips for getting it set up /lined up the correct way with my bass drum (26 in. )??
@Sheeleykk I do just a little adjustments. I try to get the beater in the highest position it can go. This will bring the beater closer to the center of the head. Then I tension the pedal so it's not too loose, but not too tight. It's somewhere in the middle. I test it by doing a double strike(or bounce) on the head with a stroke of my foot. If I don't get the beater to bounce on the head, then I need to tighten it up to make it come back faster. That's the trick. Hope that helps. JOEDRUMS2112
@MrGunnyboddy Yea, if you want to muffle drums you can go a few ways. Try the REMO muffle rings or the REMO O's. The Gel Pads work pretty good as well. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112
i think maybe a zildjian might just sponcer you bc they might suit you just a tad better ...especially on the HH, but maybe im too old to know anymore

Hi Joe. Great video! How about doing Night Flight and When the Levee Breaks broken down into sections in one video for each song? Especially Night Flight. I know everyone has done When the Levee Breaks, but I don't think you have.
@KedmenecMartin Yea that's because the kit is so loud that the camera mic couldn't take the volume so it's started to overload a bit. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112
Joe, I can upload covers even if they are copyrighted and nothing happens- The particular artist is "The Beatles" and I'm sure there are certain artists out there you can cover without getting into copyright stuff.
@CBamProductions Hey thanks for watching. The set would have been $5000 brand new with cymbals and stands. I paid $1700 for the kit and $800 for the cymbals and stands. I've got some connections with music stores. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112
drc peter does an open and close beat on the hi hat,on every beat..and on alive 2 theres no first ghost note its bass drum first then snare beat.
