it's one thing if the wire is suspended, but if you want to give an animal grazing time without risking them getting loose, it's a good way to let them get at the grass.
they grow to about the size of a tennis ball and males live for 5 years, females live 2-4, they eat any raw vegatable, insects and worms, table scraps(leftover pasta, potato peels, bread) and cracked corn
i just got a pair of button quail. the male was crowing his sweet little heart out LOL.
i think the other is a female, she has a very very faint throat marking not pronounced like my male. he is a chinese crested and she is a silver button, is it possible for certain breeds of females to have faint 'bibs.? they get along great anyway
I like to feed my girlfriend's buttons crickets...man they just go after them like the predators that they can be...poor crickets never have a chance thanks to me...
