UGGGHHHH this is the only level i cant even get an A rank in, my best time is 5min 52 seconds, do you know what the cutoff is for A rank, or have any tips for getting it? I followed your path and did exactly what you did, but im just not as good in the fights. i guess its the diagonal throwing that gets me, but still it really doesnt seem like it should be this hard ):

@frogger1243 I don't remember exactly, but I have a feeling is was 5:30 or somewhere there abouts. The best tips I can give are focus on improving the spike ball and mining(?) clancer fights. Spike Balls are pretty easy once you get used to grabbing the bombs and the mining clancers aren't too bad. Clanpots go in the same pattern every time if I recall, but just be patient and aim your shots with them. Wasting a second or two is better than losing ~8 because you missed.

Hey, thanks so much, I recently got A rank :D 5min 21 seconds and i think S isn't that much further! I've recently actually been going for all S ranks with my friend, and we've gotten pretty far! I even got magma rafts S rank because of your video! actually doing the boost grab like you do, and using the spring is so much fun haha :D I just wanted to thank you for being a constant impersonation of my mischief makers playing! and thank you so much for answering all my questions :)

Just a lot of time into the game, thats all. Those pot clancers are still a real pain in the butt to hit after all these years... they are my least favorite 'boss' in the game.

Wow, look at all those pretty S's... this stage was prticularly annoying for me.

In fact this level isn't that hard, even the "S" is kindda easy (I took almost 25 seconds to beat each one of 'em and still I get the "S") .

By the way, you can kill the Clanball with the lasers faster: try to jump when rocks appears and you'll be able to throw like...6 rocks :D.

This level is a beast, the most I can get is a B rank. The other levels I'm havin trouble with are Cerberus Alpha, Missle Surf, and Magma Rafts.

There is a faster way to beat the spiked dude I found myself:

Just jump under a little ahead of him/her/it,  grab a bomb and through it straight up before landing.

This might need a little practice for it to go very well and fast.

I HATE this level. I CANNOT beat the bosses fast enough.

best grade I got was a B. Whenever I face the pot guy, when im trying to throw his rocks at him, either another flaming rock kills the one im throwing, or a flaming rock hits me.

Before you begin talking, pick them up and shake them and one of them will

have the yellow gem on them. Make sure you do this before you start talking.

For the pot... If you were to hit two rocks at once and then throw both of them, it might be faster but I don't know (you did that once out of necessity, and it seemed faster to me)

There are a lot of improvement I could make... On emulator with save states outside each fight (no slowdown or anything) I can almost break 3:00.xx which is a minute 30 faster O_o 3:30-3:45 should be reasonable on a great run

I cant find my game T_T ever since I moved to texas which was 6 months ago... I cant find this game T_T I had an S on all of the lvls man it was a pain in the ass to get S's I find this one the hardest lolz. And the one with that rock following you was kinda tough to get an S But guess ill have to get the rom now =/ until I can find it.

So random... i ran this level on an emulator just to get an idea of what an ideal time would be... and what an amazing time would be.... 4:20- would be very nice... 3:20- was with pretty much perfect battles O_o

Lol, my friend owned this one, so i've beat it twice on the console and 3 different times on emulator. Then I forget about it for a year or two and then beat it all over again.
