  • what tuning is this in?

  • @MrRedpickle That's standard tuning.

  • it does'nt get any better than this, yet all anyone can do is draw comparisons. He sounds better than the doors. You are all refried beans........

I would classify this tune as hell funk, for i am a piece of bacon cooking in the morning.

  • @MrRedpickle Mmmm....refried beans...bacon...

  • cool

  • To be honest it sounds 100 times better then all those covers with using wah. My favourite!

  • thanks bro, this was really helpful (:

  • I've noticed on alot of your videos people criticize your playing I think its because there jelous they can't play like you. Keep rocking dude=)

  • That was great all the guys down there about fingerpicking who gives a shit we all do it because we can't find a pick or just don't give a fuck

  • dude that was awesome

  • indian summer

  • That was amazing man! Keep it up! Not to be a dick but the G string could've been a cent or two sharper.

  • @BlackHawkGaming Agreed. But that's true of most of the videos I post. :)

  • can any one value how someone has a different way of playing god most people are assholes haha... Good playing man (: I enjoyed it alot :DD

  • @13bettypage I agree...this is certainly better than what I can do. and I appreciate anybody that takes the time to develop and craft.Plus excellent song choice. It' a work in progree!

  • Lose the pick for starters...

  • @TheGravygun How's the view from the cheap seats?

  • do you have any scratches or dings on this guitar,it seems in mint condition, great paying btw

  • G minor

  • @cbarrett34 It's a G5, actually. That G string is open.

  • @privettricker ok, i know the solo is in g minor pent. so i assumed that's a gminor in the beginning

  • @cbarrett34 You're right - the solo is G minor pentatonic. But in the intro, that open G string makes all the difference.

  • @privettricker i don't know how robbie did that nice rhythm without using a pick

  • @cbarrett34 practice, practice....not playing can make certain elements of guitar playing easier, but it depends on how u use it and building your chops

  • @cbarrett34 lol I meant not playing with a pick...damn my grammar

  • @matco24 robbie could do nice strumming with his fingers, cause of his nails were long

  • @cbarrett34 lol thought u said u didn't know how he did it?...yea I know about fingernails, tht's how JT plays

  • @matco24 who's jt?

  • @cbarrett34 James Taylor?

  • @matco24 Joe Theismann?

  • @privettricker umm no James Taylor singer/songwriter/fingerstyle guitarist

  • @matco24 what does James Taylor have to do with Robbie Krieger? James Taylor plays fingerpicking style on an acoustic guitar, travis picking style. that's way different from the flamenco style fingerpicking that Robbie did on an electric, in a rock band. Robbie is so much different from those folk players who played finger style on acoustic. he's one of a kind really

  • @cbarrett34 ummm he's not the only one who uses his fingers to play...a lot of blues players do it too....the point was they both use their fingers to play...I never said their styles were exactly the same haha geez

  • sounds really good, the doors are the shit!!

  • this is great man - thank you - i want to learn this song and you've done amazing! cheers!

  • way better than that other dude's video with wahwah)

    good job man

  • Are you using a wah pedal?

  • @ryler99 No effects.

  • Very nice. I especially liked the intro riff. What are the chords?

  • the doors are awesome... theres only one way to get those lyrics haha... great cover, sounds just like the original this would definitely be a good one to learn.

  • you remind me of a guy we used to play guitar with on the front beach on the Isle of Palms back in the early and mid-Seventies called Tony Quick. I think he was from upstate around Florence.

  • wicked man ..... i am the lizard king i can do anything
