That's a shame that all of those people have died from prescription drugs. Ha ha I took a lot of prescription drugs and I didn't even die. Ha ha in two years I took like six or seven different pills and I'm still alive. So, these people probably took a lot of pills to die.

i ended up in A&E on a drip cus of an overdose prescribed by a doctor. after 3 years of following his instructions, my stomach shut down with internal bleeding, constant shakes and lack of focus, plus daily flashbacks of violent attacks freom previous years, sweating, shaking, fear, and increased chronic pain throughout my body not just at the injured parts. it all subsided after 2 weeks of detoxing from the meds and reducing the pain killer strength down over a year. im not as sick as i was

@JemGC20 thankyou. im getting there but it looks like i may have a serious illness i might not recover from as i stopped my meds over 2 years ago and im still struggling to heal. we are led to believe that only medication will help us get better and not to trust our own bodys ability to heal. youngsters today are being bombarded with false ideas of using drugs to help them achieve or fit in or to cope. the medical industry is corrupt in so many ways. compassion and good nutrition works wonders.

I will agree, if Aaron had only used Marijuana he would still be here today. Using prescription drugs is like playing russian roulette, its only a matter of time before they kill you; no matter what your age is. Shame on you who said awful things about these kids. I am Aaron Mason's Mom... found this.. LOVED IT!! The song was perfect.. we played it at his funeral. Thank you so much for your efforts to spread the dangers of these drugs. I will say that my son's grandma was giving him these drugs for months before his death. I still do not know if the drugs he died from that night were drugs given to him or if he stole them. It really doesnt matter, the result is he is gone. These drugs are VERY ADDICTIVE! Teens become addicted almost immedately.

@stoti8 Did you know that strong marijuiana can cause a heart arithmia. Check with the NIDA - National Institute of Drug Abuse (Nora Volkow). I would think the stronger pot that is around now can throw off the rhythym of the heart beat and result in death.

I know enough about pharmacology and medication reactions, too. I am aware that certain prescriptions drugs are addictive--and which ones--and that every person--even I--could become addicted--and that people overdose unintentionally.

If taken as prescribed(as I do) you will not die from it but they always have to mention it as if that's what killed the person. I should know, because my mother had a full "pharmacy" of pills and I had to be around it all the time, so I learned a thing or two.
