I have had this ongoing for five months. It's starting to effect me mentally. Stretches massages htp shoe inserts. I am about ready to sell everything I own to fix this problem.
Plantar Fasciitis is a complex problem, you're right. I found cold packs on occasion helped. I also found the book "Injury Afoot" on Amazon which shows a bunch of easy stretches and tricks for relief. It's really helped. My P.F. situation is almost completely gone, and it had been pretty bad for awhile.
@daughterdebbie You're right, it hurts so bad... I'm 17 now and I've had it ever since I was 15 (I was told I'm pretty young to have it, but anyway) and sometimes I'd fall right at the moment I tried to stand up, that's how bad it was... I literaly could not walk for a couple minutes and I'd have to walk really slow for a while after it. I took a couple anti-inflammatory shots (once in 3 months) and it helped a lot... after a year, it still hasn't come back. Hope that helps...
do you think this would be effect if i tried self massage? i've been in physical therapy for months, which is winding up now, for a combo of achilles bursitis, achilles tendonitis, and plantar fasciitis. the fasciitis is still the biggest problem. and i'd like to work on it still once my therapy ends

if only it were that simple.
I have excruciating pain in my heel, and exercise, massage doesnt help.
Planar Fasciitis It is a very complicated problem, for some. This man made it look so simple to remedy.
