if anyone didnt know at the end of back to the future 2 it says to be concluded. Back to the future 3 came out and that means that bttf 3 is the last movie in the series

it's true that future day was on July 5th 2010,because Doc Emmet.L.Brown said he wanted to time travel 25 years later in 1985,so I added 1985 to 25.and you know what the answer was?2010!!

@random3884 But then at the end of BTTF 1 the Doc time traveled 30 years into the future instead of 25. The future is still a good five years off. But I do see your point though. If the Doc was never shot, he would've come to 2010. But there's no telling how futuristic things would've been when he got there.

Hey. Of course the year is 1985, how could it be else? I think the idea is BEFORE setting the time to 1 minute in the future, the time machine was set to 5 july 2010! No one checked that! (I obviously think it's a fake anyway)
