I guess the band decided it sounded better with just Jimi singing it alone; I think that is because it was Micky Thomas who sang all the duet parts with Jimi, not Frankie.

When I saw them in '05, though, Frankie was singing the high part like on the record with Jimi. So, who knows!!??

I loved it when I went backstage in 2001 and got my cd of vital signs signed by the band. To me Vital Signs is one of the best albums of all time. And it beats all of journey. Journey capppooooooi.

DANG! That Jimi can sing! I think he's just great. Surprised, though that Frankie didn't do the counter melody on this song. Look how young he is. I just love watching him play guitar. These guys withstand the test of time.......don't ya seriously doubt that 23 years from now, the teenagers of today will bother to pull up the krap music they listened to in 2008 & listen to it anytime in the future ?? They'll probably have matured enough to where they'll be pulling up Jim & Frankie & will probably have a real appreciation of those bands from whatever era, 80s or otherwise, that actually have artistic talent!! Survivor will always survive the 'test of time !'

I saw him sing with Jim Peterik's World Stage in Chicago on Oct 9 and his voice is still incredible. I've seen some videos of him in Brasil where his voice did not sound so good- he must have been sick. He still sings great and I was absolutely thrilled to hear him..great singer- one of the best ever!

This is an excellent album. Very overlooked as one of the better 80's bands. They were type cast and too often refered to as the "Rocky" band. Saw them a few months ago and the new lead singer not near as good as Jimi.
