If their moving toward us then the light shifts to blue, if its moving away from us then its turning red. Depends on how far the waves stretch concerning their distance. And I believe God is the One is in control of the universe.

@ebolaworld eh, no. the universe (or at least the visible universe) is bound by space. as it has a border. therefore, the space of the universe is limited. also, you can clearly see that time passes in the entire universe. so in no way the universe is beyond time and space. on top of that, the universe had a beginning, everything that has a beginning is bound by the rules of time. even tho there's no rule that states everything that had a beginning must also have an end.

@ebolaworld well, it might just be my opinion, but i find it more acceptable to believe 'something' or 'someone' has always been and will always be, ignoring time and space altogether, not bound by ANY laws of nature at all (since he created laws in the first place) created everything, then to believe it just suddenly all existed, and out of nowhere perfect laws of nature happen to just be there, life starts forming, etc. and humankind with all their knowledge and research doesn't know a thing.

@ebolaworld we live in a realm called "Time", the mind says there is a beginning and an end. Hence in the book of genesis where it says "In the beginning.." Where God lives there is no time but eternity. So there is no beginning and end. Your question is therefore invalid to say "What created God then?" when there is no beginning in the eternal realm. We were created by Him. If your gifted at making and editing videos at least do one that glorifies God and He will reward you.

As you probably know, all the galaxies are exponentially moving away from us (Red shift) and some are even coming towards us (Blue shift). Hawkings opinions about God, and wether he believes in one, are insignificant compared to his opinions regarding physics. So, his personal belief shouldn't be what you take into consideration, rather, you should consider that one of the most knowledgeable expert physicists doesn't think a supernatural force was required for the Big Bang to happen. It doesn't need God.

Time began when the universe created, which means time did not exist before the universe was created, with that knowledge you now know this, since time did not exist before the formation of the universe there was no time before the creation for someone else to create it, so there would be no time for God to have created the universe, because the universe created itself. So the universe is God, the universe created matter, atoms, life, everything created in the universe is made from the universe.
